| Loved this season, but can someone please tell me how the explosion did not hit the city? Feel like I missed something, like did Megumin just turn it into small airborne explosions or did someone block it or what? Thanks! |

Why would they? Kazuma was the one to order her to summon it.
He was completely satisfied with it with the exception of the fact he got caught on it.
| @Othawastz because nobody was expecting her to summon a flood of that magnitude. Im pretty sure they were pissed at her because of the destruction after it happened already and just now it was revealed how much she actually damaged. |

| LOL that moment when there will be a drama about Darkness' father death and then "HEALING !!!!" XD I'm not as fan as the time of season 1 and 2 but it was still pretty fun to watch. I kinda liked the Darkness wedding arc. |
| This is a long message about my relationship with this anime. Feel free to dismiss it, I'm just feeling like writing it. KonoSuba is a series that I never got the appeal of. Coming from a lot of recommendations from various friends and people I knew they all mentioned wonders about it describing as just "so funny I fell down my chair" or somethig along those lines. So in curiosity and after leaving up some space for it I finally gave it a shot. At first it was funny, just every character was so dumb and had a funny, but then I realized that the show was relying a lot on the same tropes. I mean, sure, you can reinvent them a bit from time to time but it's difficult for me to laugh at something I'm already seeing coming from a mile away. So with that the end of the first season didn't feel that rewarding and I decided to give the OVA a shot. That was a mistake. Not only was I not entrolled by the concept of said episode, I started to loathe Kazuma as a character and the way he behaved in front of the rest. I can see why may find his flawed personality as amusing but to me he was someone getting by cheap for being a dick. With that I left the series to rest and didn't come back until the announcement for this season which prompted me to give the second season and the supposed peak in the movie a look. As for the former, in the first half of it not gonna lie I was pretty bored. I could see all of the jokes being told and the structure of why they should be funny but it just didn't hit me for some reason. Comedy is very subjective but in some cases there are jokes that should be funny to everyone... right? Was I seeing something else? At the very least the second half with Aqua's believers behaving all wonky the format slightly changed and that was mildly funny so the season got enough of a pass for me to go for the movie. What about it then? Was it the peak of the series? I mean, from a production standpoint it sure was but in terms of content it came off in my eyes as more of the same. Yes, there were more characters and the kill shot of the villain was a twist but that didn't faze me as much. It was still enjoyable enough to get a pass... barely, so with that I started this season, first time watching the series as it aired and I... almost dropped it. The first episodes weren't doing much for me. Again I could see the structure of the jokes being presented without laughing and I could also see them getting by too easily with a lot of shouting and spouting nonsense in between. So I didn't laugh... almost. One episode got me with Kazuma swapping bodies and talking like himself in the body of a small child. That was pretty brief but fair enough I guess. With that arc being done I didn't feel like catching up with the remaining episodes and so they piled on, until today. From what I was able to watch I can say that it was mildly funny in some instances like when Kazuma and Aqua were badly reviewing dishes in a fancy restaurant or the embarrassing photoshoot but not much else. However, despite not laughing I couldn't say I didn't like it, in fact I gave it a pass. Why? Wasn't the series boring to me? Well, yes, but after all of that I started to see the appeal of it not as a comedy but as a slice of life with character that care for each other in their own toxic way, and that was enough. Going back, that's probably why I didn't like the OVA, too much of it revolved around Kazuma being a dick but in this season there were more moments of contemplation and reflection upon everyone's status. They were quickly cut short orset to the side since they were not the focus (for the most part) but I can see their appeal and with that I can say that I'll probably end up watching the next season despite my gripes. 6/10 |

| ngl I didn't like the first few episodes of the season. It felt like a completely different show, was kinda boring. Thankfully it picked up later and the further episodes were hilarious. gonna rate 8/10, same as the previous seasons |
| That Megumin struggling to hold her explosion in tho... Nice finale to conclude an overall really entertaining season of KonoSuba. Ugly bastard Alderp got what he deserved and Darkness is now free to rejoin Kazuma's party. It was a nice ride overall. Really enjoyed the Iris-focused arc and the fact of Darkness being in the spotlight, in one way or another, for practically the entire season was more than welcome since she's best girl. 8/10 - Darkness: 19 and divorced lol. |

| Absolutely phenomenal season, everything about it -- from the comedic bits to the slightly emotional moments -- was done flawlessly. My only complaint was that it wasn't longer, but that's usually what I say about anything I like lol. And I gotta say, despite already liking Darkness' character up till now, this season has really made her a favourite of mine. Can't wait to see these goofballs again in the next installment of this series! (Whenever that may be.) |

| Hmm... Interesting explosion... what was that other layer of bunch of smaller magic circles that blocked explosion? Megu didn't "hold it in"... but rather there was a second layer of magic circles under the original explosion magic circle... And best DemonMask-bro shows up to screw the fat bastard over, lol (and this also shows that you should never cancel a contract with a Demon) . TBH, I still find it extremely stupid that somehow they make it a "debt" on Darkness (of Kazuma) for destroying the landscape and such... When in fact Megu has been destroying bunch of landscape non-stop since season 1... yet no one's blaming her for anything... Totally doesn't make sense... it's like they just decide to use a random plot for drama purposes... . LOL @ Megu stealing Kazuma's thunder, Kazuma was gonna sound cool and bring Darkness back into the party, LOL Darkness is so cute. I want to hug her. Just look at her cute little crying fact at the very last second of episode. . Overall, this was a pretty good season 3 (just have to overlook the weird debt plot...) |

| Such a great run. Only true issue is its over. The animation and production this episode was excellent. We can only look towards a continuation next season. No matter how long that takes. While we look back on the this banger of a finale, that absolutely pulled out all the stops. With our "human-trafficked" crusader bride.    Who did not seem to have an issue with her bill of sale...  Then when the resident loli  Has a Jojo moment.        And, peace returns to our heroes.  Some not too much worse for wear.    |

| At least I was able to end the season with a smile when Kazuma called Darkness "Divorceness", a final laugh for this season. But man... those last three episodes were by far the worst KonoSuba has ever been. I praised the first season for staying funny until the very end and not creating some serious drama in the end and here we are in season 3 doing exactly that. Normally I would be all over a Darkness arc, but this one was really not good. I feel like she behaved really weird in the whole thing and there was a lack of funny scenes. 8/10, worst season so far. |

| What a beautiful way to end the season, Kazuma buys saves Princess Lalatina by paying off the huge debt her family accumulated with the adventure money they accumulated and the rights to his inventions, before making kinda heroic exit with the bride and rest of the crew with the local adventures covering for them which was sweet. Also kinda nice Kazuma got to keep his 2 billion funds, if i didn't consider this a mainly character focused season, i'd consider it economic / cash money boom season for the gang. Yeah i'll give it to them, off course in the most tear jerking moment off Darkness's final words to her father, combined with the myriad of previous emotional moments, Aqua comes in to sprinkle her magic and saves the day while also ruining the moment. I'm happy Darkness's father gets to live, but holy shit did Aqua's God healing taser make me scream with laughter while holding back a few tears lmao, I also think that scene had the best scream from Darkness's VA yet. Props to Kazuma for princess carrying Darkness, from all the comments of how jacked she was i have nothing but respect for my man. I also like how they just decided to disclose what happened between the two of them when Kazuma first broke into Darkness's room, thought they'd keep that one a personal memory, and holy SHIT was Megumin not happy Darkness's was gonna steal her mans. Also gigachad Vanir, i honestly don't remember his presences in previous seasons being so apparent, but this season it feels like he's shown up when it's mattered most and basically handed out the solution. It's hard to see with his very jokey/untrustworthy personality and being an ex-demon lord, but dude is straight up a solid businessman and helping guy. Whether his intentions are truly all good, we'd have to see in future season, but even watching the ending it looked to me like less of him helping a comrade out to amass more power, but more like helping a friend. Overall i thought s3 was an 8/10, felt like there was a lot more shift to characters and although it didn't have the usual omega death threat or a Demon Lord focus, it was honestly fine for me. The focus on Darkness this season i thought was paced well and gave her much needed development since for two season it was kinda getting tiring seeing her only as a masochist with her bits and not much else. I also thought they showed off a lot more of Kazuma's character as well behind the funny jokey personality, the length's he'd go for his friends and a little more of his vulnerable "human" side at times. They still cooked really well with the humour and dialogue, the funny moments felt like they hit just as much as they did those many years ago and made me remember what i loved so much from this series and main cast. |

| Season 3 of Konosuba was a riot! The antics of Kazuma, Darkness, Megumin and Aqua this season gave me a lot of laughs. My favorite gag still has to be the cut off sentence at the end of each episode. I expected it but it still found a way to surprise me every time. 10/10 I love Konosuba. |

| That was a good last episode, the only thing I'd criticise about it was the stuff with Alderp being dragged off to hell. While he was a terrible person, it was a pretty dark end and also a bit out of place amongst all the happy endings going on with Divorceness and her father, all the townspeople helping her escape and the gang getting back together at the end. Hopefully with this coming so soon after the Megumin series that means they might start to adapt the rest of the LNs more quickly, rather than doling them out every 5 years or so. |
| It's sweet how all of the adventurers wanted to help Darkness. I didn't think Megumi would go so far as to set off an explosion right above the town. It's a miracle she wasn't thrown into jail for that. Darkness has gotten herself a new nickname and it's hilarious. Divorcedness! I hope we get more of this series soon. |

| I can't believe the previous installment was 7 years ago. That was the time when I finally got hooked into this Japanese subculture, and this series being one of the reasons why. A very entertaining sequel, it reminds me of how much I loved the casts. |

| Kazuma has crashed Darkness's wedding to Aldarp & pays him the 2 billion Eris he says he's owed. Aqua & Kazuma try to make off with darkness but Aldarp won't relinquish her so easily & orders his guards to stop their escape. Still Our Kazuma was successfully able to rescue her from the wedding.  The scene where Aqua uplifts Lalatina's father curse was the most hilarious 😂 Situation I've ever seen in this episode 🤣. "Divorcedness" Lalatina Ford 🤣 Finished of another Konosuba Season. Hope we'll get Season 4 soon. Score 8/10 by me at MAL. Finished on 8th July 2024 at 22:43 Hrs IST.  |

| What seemed like it might be your typical rescue mission of course ends up being so much more chaotic when Kazuma and the lot are involved. The party is complete once more, which makes me wonder what sort of mischief they'll get up to next, in hopefully another season! |
