Thank god author/Gen convinced everyone to paint their stone cracks back, they looked awful without them.

We finally got to see Tsukasa again! I feel like they did a really good job with the reunion, since it felt quite emotional! I also wasn't expecting the clash between Ryuusui and Tsukasa, although it makes sense! It's good to see when the anime pays attention to these kind of details!
It seems like we're going to the States in the 4th season! Curious to see how the anime will unravel from now on, especially since the next season is going to be the final one.
I do have to say that the petrification device being uncharged was completely out of nowhere, and doesn't make a lot of sense. I know they're insinuating it was because it was used over a big area, but still, the people of that island have been using it for over 20 years (in fact, the anime hints at it being over 100 years), and it never run out of battery after so many uses? Unless energy consuption is exponentially bigger with the radius, it's just doesn's make much sense, and it really felt more of a cheap way to make the device disappear for the next arc, making it life harder for the characters.
Also, did they just leave Hyouga on the island?

Well, regarding this season in particular, I must say this one has to be the most incongruent in terms of quality. There are episodes that are among the best in the series (like episode 2 and 7), and some that are just some of the most disappointing (like episodes 1, 3 and 9). The 1st part also had this problem, but this one just goes way beyond that. But I really enjoy how they still manage to give each character its own importance and screentime, eventhough the cast is growing bigger and bigger. Ginro not having some character development after this season was a big loss for me though, but anyways...

Overall, all things considered, I found this season as good as the other ones, so I'll give it an 8/10 too!
Season 4 is starting in 2 weeks, so I'm glad I was able to catch up with Dr. Stone in time for that! Curious to see how this anime will end!
