Current Appearance: Black jeans, a pair of dress boots, a loose plain white tunic, a brown ankle-length cloak with a large collar flicked up around his neck. His long black hair is currently not tied up and he has a wedding ring on.

Geno greeted Amphion and he smiled in return, "Pleasure's all mine!". Both April and Geno were keen to go along with Zahrah's suggestion. Zahrah said that Yong would be safe, stating that there were far worse spots to freeze at - like a busy road for example. He mentioned something called a 'Vanibo'. Amphion wondered if that was some sort of vehicle, this world's technology seemed advanced enough for mechanically engineered transport.

That being said, he gave in and left with Zahrah and the others, exiting the Mission Hall to accompany Zahrah on his epic quest.

Guinsoo received a message from Alex and read. It seems he was on an escort mission and it would take awhile before he got back. Seems like he'll be spending some time on his own for now... Although he had no idea what to do. There were no missions for him to do at the moment, so he could only wait it out.. or maybe go back to the Sparring Hall. Maybe he should try and contact Lyka..

"Lyka! It's me, Guinsoo. Where are you?"

He noticed the group leaving the mission hall, but he was still waiting on a response from Lyka. After awhile of no response, Guinsoo would look on his friend-tracker, as he would call it, and see no sign of Lyka's location on the map either. Seems like that's also not an option.

Guinsoo sighed, he was slightly late for some missions, and he felt like he needed to do more than just save the city to grow stronger. He'll probably just wait until he could find a mission, or maybe wait until Alex is back and figures out what to do.

Ciela had gone back to her duties, ignoring the conversation which took up so much space between the low rank SOULs who weren't on a misssion. As always, before she could get anything done, her concentration was disrupted as she got a call.

"Astraea Mission Reception.
...
Understood. I will cancel the mission."

Ciela was surprised to hear there had been an explosion in the mines that had caused them to collapse entirely, not that she showed any signs of it. With the mines inaccessible thanks to what the mining company suspected was sabotage by a competitor attempting to hide any evidence that they had put the CS there, there was no way to continue the mission. However, since the company had already paid Astraea for the mission and wouldn't get any refunds, the participants would still receive some rewards. She definitely wasn't being generous because two of the SOULs there were cute. Ciela then sent out a notification to all SOULs who participated in the mission, even the ones who had frozen before reaching the village.

"Attention, all participants in "Help clear out the mines!": The mining company has reported that a series of an explosions which they suspect to be a result of sabotage has caused the mines to collapse, making it impossible to enter them. It is likely all CS and any surviving miners were crushed in the process. Because of this, the mission is now considered 'complete'."

Ciela would then send out the notification including the rewards for all participants. (CP would not be visible)

Kurome would arrive to the mission hall, only to notice that apparently most of the tasks for the day were more orientated towards the morning people. She found it perplexing, although this also meant that there had not quite been anything acute. And as things stood, she was more in for the jobs that required quiet of the night rather than the early rays of the morning sun. She’d just walk up on a computer screen and start practicing on how to use one . . .

Current Appearance: Lucia has a tattoo on her forehead and on both palms. Her eyes are light blue and her hair is done up in an intricate hairstyle with lots of beads and braids. The hood of her outfit is currently down.

Evalye apologised for dragging Lucia along, stating that she wanted something to distract her thoughts. Lucia understood that, as she felt overwhelmed as well. Going on this little excursion was distracting her from worrying about things that she couldn't even fix. "Oh it's no problem, I would have preferred relaxing a bit first and getting my bearings but now I'm realising that a distraction is probably something I needed - even if I didn't realise it."

Lucia's words may have been considered straightforward by some, but Lucia was more inclined to be overt in her conversations with people. She valued honesty, even if sometimes she was a little too honest. In any case, the elevator doors opened and Lucia stepped into the Mission Hall with her companion.

Evalye seemed to be nervous, however. Her hands were trembling and she stepped back with a lowered head. Evalye expressed that she was lost as to where to start. Lucia put a hand on Evalye's shoulder and would look at her in the eyes if she raised her head. Her eyes were sympathetic and reassuring, a look that she often expressed with Hestia. "I'm sure we'll get used to everything soon. Don't feel too bad about it, things could be a lot worse," she said.

Now that Lucia thought about it, Evalye looked quite young. The school uniform she wore proved this, Lucia just hadn't really noticed it before with all that had been going on emotionally. Lucia was a lot older than the girl and she felt a sense of responsibility for her, it would be tough having to go through all of this at such an age. She squeezed Evalye's shoulder gently and pulled her hand away, "Plus, I'm just as lost as you are so at least you're not alone in that," she added.

Evalye would take a deep breath, she'd quickly check her COMB one more time for a reassurance. And then would proceed to walk down. "Thanks." She'd say at Lucia looking at her one more time. She walked down the stairs and met up with Ciela.

There were very rare cases where Evalye had been even briefly at loss of words. yet now was one of those times. She quickly drew a character into her left palm with the index finger of her right before fixating her eyes at Ciela.

"Hello. I believe I am a new addition as a SOUL. As is my friend here." Evalye would give a very odd and bothered smile.

"With the given circumstances. I was hoping to find a mission or request of any sort. I would very much appreciate anything. I understand that the COMB initially had stated that there are only ongoing missions. I'd like to find just anything. I don't mind, if it's further away than what you typically deal with, please."

Two new people walked in, and he hadn't seen them before. It seems that they're also looking for a mission, but Guinsoo was wondering if he should wait on Alex' return. "Nah.", he shook his head as he muttered that under his breath, smacking himself across the face to wake up. "Alright!".

Guinsoo stood up and walked towards Ciela, "I'll have what they're having!", first pointing towards himself with his thumb as he slams his hand flat onto the counter, and then pointing towards the new people. "What are they having?".

Ciela went back to her duties for a few minutes, until a few SOULs she didn't recognize showed up to ask some questions. Even though she was newly summoned, one of them was practically begging for some kind of mission or request to go on.

"Like you said, there are currently no available missions or requests, and they are made based on importance not demand. If you were only just summoned, try going to the dormitory first instead of rushing into battle."

It always confused her how some SOULs somehow had no problem with going on missions right after summoning, even though there was so much to adjust to, like not being dead and in some cases being in a different time, and always a different place (with a few exceptions for SOULs who lived in Yvalia).

Evalye thanked Lucia for her words and then approached the strange looking woman behind the desk. Lucia couldn't help but stare, wondering why the woman looked to be part robot. She didn't want to just bring up her COMB and research the Yvalian races right there and then - as that would probably be a bit rude - so she decided that she would ask Evalye about it afterwards.

Before the robot-woman could answer Evalye, a rough looking man with white hair approached them and slammed his hand down on the desk. Boldly proclaiming that he was also eager for a mission - albeit in a less direct way. Lucia eyed the man curiously, appraising him. She thought he looked a little gruff but that didn't necessarily portray much about his personality. However, his actions showed that he was probably the confident, overzealous type who charged into battle. While Lucia didn't exactly have a problem with those kinds of people, she found that they were often the ones to unintentionally put others at risk.

Nonetheless, Lucia simply crossed her muscular arms over her chest and maintained a neutral expression. The strange robot-woman said that there were currently no available missions or requests and that they should go to the dormitory instead. Lucia was inwardly relieved at this news, she still didn't really fancy going out on a mission so soon. She tried not to display this, however, as she knew that Evalye was just trying to cope in her own way. Lucia didn't really like the tone that the receptionist took and she was about to speak up when Evalye spoke first. Lucia's eyes shifted over to the girl and listened to what she had to say. She nodded appreciatively, respecting the girl's sudden fire.

However, Lucia also noted that this abrupt switch was similar to what had happened before and Lucia's guess as to the exact nature of the 'two-souls in one' was becoming more and more valid. It seemed like Evalye seemed to switch between the two personalities, she wondered if this was intentional or something that was emotion-based. Anyhow, Lucia didn't want the situation to escalate and felt the need to diffuse it slightly. She would have personally tried a more subtle approach than Evalye. "We're still quite disorientated and weren't given much direction upon our summoning. Maybe a more directive message besides 'enjoy your freedom' is required when you're dealing with people who may not even be from this world. Doesn't seem like much effort was put into inducting new SOULs. Perhaps having people there to explain things rather than a computer is more tactful," she said in a calm tone.

The newly-summoned SOUL didn't like Ciela's suggestion, enough that her eyes surprisingly turned red. Not only that, her personality was a lot more aggressive and annoying in her response instead of begging for work like earlier. The other one tried to be more calm about it but also had a complaint, saying that Astraea should do more to introduce newly-summoned SOULs. However before Ciela could respond to any of it, she got a call on her headset, which she responded to right away once they were done talking.

"Astraea Mission Reception.
...
Understood. I will list the mission immediately."

She then sent out the mission notification to all available SOULs. In a strange coincidence, a mission had shown up right after people started asking for one since Evalye has plot armor. It was even one that fit for a newly summoned SOUL since it was only an E+ ranked mission to defend Abberton Village against a group of wolf-like CS that had been spotted in another mission. It seemed familiar for some reason...Once the notifications were sent out, Ciela responded to their complaints, first Evalye then Lucia.

"A new mission is now available. You may sign up for it if you want to fight that much."

"My job is to manage missions, not argue about Astraea's policies. However, most SOULs have managed to adapt to their new life here already, which is likely why my superiors have not changed this policy."

Ciela hoped that would be all they had to say so she could get back to her work without distractions. She was the mission receptionist after all, not a complaint receptionist...

Unfortunately, it seemed like Lucia's luck changed as a mission ended up becoming available. The receptionist responded to Lucia and Evayle complaints, stating that her job wasn't to argue about Astraea's policies. Lucia raised an eyebrow at that, this woman/robot/whatever she was represented Astraea by working for them. She should at least relay the SOULs complaints to the higher-ups if that was the case, the very fact that she dismissed Lucia and Evayle's words so easily reflected badly on Astraea as a company. Lucia didn't push it though, she recognised that complaining to the robot-woman wasn't going to get them anywhere.

Lucia sighed when the mission popped up, though she tried to keep it inaudible to Evayle in an effort not to offend the girl. The girl applied for the mission and turned to Lucia, apologising for dragging her into this. "That's alright, I wouldn't be doing anything I didn't want to," she said. While she would have preferred not to go on the mission, she was still willing to do for Evayle's sake. Lucia normally didn't get attached to people so quickly but she felt a duty to protect her. Lucia brought up her COMB and applied for the mission.

The other SOUL introduced himself as Guinsoo, a rather peculiar name. He also mentioned that they'd be stuck together for a while, meaning that he had also applied for the mission. Lucia gave him a curt nod and clasp his hand in hers. He would feel that her hands were incredibly rough with callouses. She gave him a firm yet brief handshake and crossed her arms again when it was over. "Lucia Roy, it's a pleasure to meet you." She may have misjudged him at first, he seemed nice enough. However, Lucia knew that what a person portrayed wasn't always who they were on the inside. Thus, she would remain cautious.

Amice's last mission had been cancelled, but she still wanted to help out. Not only that, but she wanted to see if her strategy would work, and if Tangerine's new trick would help out! That's why she went to the Mission Hall again, although she had been delayed because she had been staring at a flowerbed for quite some time. That said, she was there now, and it seemed like she was in time to join the newest mission! Hopefully, this one wouldn't be cancelled.

Of course, she'd join this mission Amice-style, walking around the desk so she could face Ciela, and saying; “Hello miss Ciela! I'd like to join the wolf mission, since the last one got cancelled.”

I'm Amice, Amice Bellamy!” Of course, no introduction was complete without introducing the whole squad. She'd name her pixies whilst pointing at them as a way of introduction. “And these are Indigo, Emerald, Tangerine, Timberwolf and Chartreuse! Are you two also going on the wolf mission?”

With that, the child soldier had reported for duty.

Ryan Collins

Ryan had seen something nice on the news when he got up, which put him in a good mood. Apparently the prince of this country had gotten cured of his curse. And when he was done with his morning routine he figured out there was a new mission. Guinsoo was on it. Apparently Alex was on another mission already, and Lyka was probably frozen still. But at least he'd be able to work together with one person on the team. Working together with Guinsoo seemed like it'd be pretty fun. They were fighting some of the speediest of the listed CS, a Fenrir and some Garms. But that was great for him. It meant he could really put his speed to the test and see if he could keep pace with these enemies.

So, Ryan showed up in the Mission Hall again, and not only was Guinsoo there, but Amice was there too. Two familiar faces, along with 3 people he didn't know. Hopefully they could keep Amice safe from ever getting hurt this time. It really seemed wrong when a little kid just got sliced badly like she had against that speedster bug. At least she hadn't died.

Wait a second, weren't there two more pixies fluttering around Amice than he'd seen last time? Guinsoo was shaking hands with one of the people Ryan didn't recognize. After Guinsoo would be done doing that and responding to Amice talking to him and someone else he didn't recognize, But, He needed to introduce himself to the others besides Amice. He heard Amice introducing herself as he walked in, so it'd fit in pretty well for him to follow up her and Guinsoo's introductions. But first, he just waited for them to respond to Amice's question so he wouldn't interrupt. In the meantime, since the person Guinsoo was talking to already responded to his introduction, he just talked to Guinsoo first. "What's up Guinsoo? Looks like this'll be our first team mission together!" It was too bad Alex and Lyka couldn't be there too, but he was still excited for the mission.

Evalye’s eyes would brim with spirit, melting away the blue ice into fiery red and she would make a wide grin revealing her fangs, she would offer her hand for a tight handshake with Guinsoo: ”I really like your guts! Name’s Evalye.” Her ears would perk as she heard some others being mentioned although she would look suspiciously at Ryan who didn’t introduce himself.

”So how does our party look like?” She’d voice with confidence. Although possibly giving a brute appearance at first, Evalye’s eyes would dart around wildly and her ears would perk as she did her best to evaluate each of the participants that she had not seen before. She also knew that one of them had pistol, and one carried quite openly a sword. Guinsoo felt like a honest brawler to her eyes; Kurome felt like an assassin; Amice was probably a mage. But she was uncertain about Lucia and Ryan.

Kurome would get close to Amice; footfall like that of a ghost, she would kneel down and lower her guard for a moment and smile like a cat at her. Followed by her brushing her forehead against Amice’s hair and letting out a very deep purr. She would then get up and pet Amice twice before looking at the rest suspiciously.

”Name is Kurome. I’m honoured.” She would make one deep bow, however she wasn’t going to shake hands. And with the natural complexions of her eyes, it was very difficult to read where she was looking at. Even, if someone had an eye to discern the qualities of others, she would stand there like a locked book, full of little secrets.

She'd look at Evalye on to her inquiry and let out in a quiet hollow tone: "Assassin." She would then look around at the people, reading at their reactions. Surprisingly the way she stood, she appeared to be very protective towards Amice.

Guinsoo shook the hands of both the girls. "Great to meet you!". One was called Lucia, and the other introduced herself as Evalye. A peculiar name indeed! And he was pretty sure he heard the name "Lucia" before.. now.. where did he hear that name.. But that didn't really matter for now. Since there was someone else with them. No handshaking from them, but at least they introduced themselves. A person called Kurome!

As well as a small person that came to introduce herself called Amice as well as introducing smaller people. She seemed to know Kurome already.

Someone called out for his name and the voice sounded a little familiar. Maybe? He looked at the direction and found RyanC! Mentioning something about this being their first mission together. "This'll be my first mission at all!", he said with a hearty laugh afterwards.

Evalye started by asking how their party looked like and Kurome answered "Assassin". She did give off an assassin-like vibe. Guinsoo put his hand resting on his chin as he nodded, doing the very generic "mhmm, mhmm" gesture and rolled a natural 20 on FLEXING flexed to show off his well-maintained six pack abs and toned biceps. "I'm striving to be a Warlord! But for now, I'm a guy that just hits things hard and fast."

Guinsoo said it was great to meet her, to which Lucia nodded in response. Evalye seemed to have switched personalities once again, saying she liked Guinsoo's guts. Speaking of Guinsoo, Lucia only now just noticed he had an actual wolf tail, she stared at it for a moment, her eyes widening slightly. She had thought it was just some weird part of his outfit but it seemed like it was actually attached to him. Lucia shook her head and pulled her attention away from it, realising it was probably rude to stare.

Two new people had arrived in this time, a small child with blue hair and... were those fairies? The other arrival was an unremarkable looking boy with black hair who seemed to have already been acquainted with Guinsoo. Lucia turned her attention back to the little girl and her fairies when she spoke to Ciela, apparently, this girl was joining the mission. Lucia frowned, a dangerous mission like this was not one for a girl so young. This girl was a SOUL, which meant she had died incredibly early or simply looked younger than she was. If it was the former than Lucia's opinion of Astraea would go down even further, by the gods, why would they summon such a young child?

Lucia wouldn't jump to any conclusions though. Instead, she would assume - or rather, hope - that the girl simply looked younger than she was. There might be a race of halflings or dwarfs, that was probably what it was. The young girl said hello to 'Kurome', who turned out to be a silent, cat-like woman that Lucia hadn't even noticed before. Cat-woman introduced herself and bowed. "What a strange assortment of people..." Lucia thought to herself as she looked around at the party. Kurome said that she was an assassin in answer to Evayle's question.

The small girl introduced herself as Amice Bellamy, before listing of the names of her fairies. Guinsoo exchanged some words with the unremarkable looking boy and said that he was striving to be a warlord, but for now, he just hit things hard and fast. "Well that confirms my earlier guess. I suppose those kinds of warriors can be useful in their own way, distracting the enemy, serving as bait, being loud." Lucia mused, a potential smile tugging at one corner of her mouth. Lucia decided she would respond to Amice since the unremarkable boy had not introduced himself yet.

She walked over and crouched down, holding out her hand to be shaken. "Hello Amice, I'm Lucia Roy. It's a pleasure to meet you," she said. While she didn't exactly smile, her expression was relatively friendly. After/If Amice shook her hand she would continue the conversation by asking, "If you don't mind me asking, how old are you?" While it was probably a bit direct to ask that question so soon, Lucia wanted to know the answer in case Amice turned out to actually be a child. If that were the case, Lucia would have a problem with there being someone so young on a mission that seemed to be quite dangerous.

Amice Bellamy & Pixies!

Amice noticed Ryan joined them short after she finished signing up herself, meaning their team was now complete. It was nice to have another person she knew aboard, and he seemed to know the somewhat scary wolf-tail-man as well. Kurome, meanwhile, proceeded to lay claim on Amice by marking her hair through rubbing it with her forehead. Considering Amice had no clue how to react to that, she ended up doing what felt natural, petting Kurome's head while the edgy-catgirl was brushing up against her, in turn getting petted herself after as Kurome got up again. To pet and to be pet, such is the cycle of life.

Short after, she was approached by a somewhat scary looking women. However, Amice had decided to try and stop getting scared by scary things, so she wouldn't budge in the face of this! That's why, when Lucia crouched down to shake her hand, Amice accepted it (assuming Kurome didn't claw Lucia's eyes out before that), and shook the hand (or around three fingers of it, considering she probably couldn't grab around all of them).

To Amice's surprise, this woman was also Lucia, just like how there were two Ryans. However, the two Ryans were somewhat alike, while the two Lucia's seemed like polar opposites. It made her question whether this person could really be Lucia as well. After all, how could two people that were this different still have the same name? “Are you really also Lucia?” That said, Amice also got asked a question, which she would answer. She did need to think about it though, so she held up her hands in front of her, and counted on her fingers, first finishing both hands, than adding one more hand, until; “Four... Fifteen!” Amice was rather proud of it, as it meant she'd be an adult in only three more years! Then she could do all sorts of adult stuff, like eh... 'What do adults do again..?' She wasn't sure any-more, but it was probably fun, otherwise it'd be weird for so many people to become adults. She realised that, somewhere, her logic might be a bit off, but she paid it no mind.

The girl Guinsoo was talking to said she liked his guts and enthusiasm and said she was Evalye. Then made a suspicious look at him. For what, he had no idea.

Guinsoo seemed pretty excited about the mission, and apparently it was even his first mission, not counting that parliament mission where Ryan knew that Guinsoo hadn't gotten to do anything. This mission was definitely going to be better than the last. "Then this should be a great start!"

By the time he thought about responding to Evalye's question to the group, other people started first. The edgy looking beastkind girl with the black hood just said 'Assassin'. Well, not only did he really not like assassins, but if she relied on some trick like turning invisible, it was all just going to be null and useless here. Guinsoo said how he fought, and in Guinsoo style, showed off his biceps by flexing for everyone. Now was a good time for him to introduce himself."I'm Ryan Collins, and I fight a bit similarily to Guinsoo. I hit hard and fast too, but I focus more on going fast. I'm pretty sure these wolves still aren't as fast as me, so if nobody needs me to directly guard them, I could probably make the big wolf waste some of his attacks by dodging his rushing attacks after getting him to focus on me. I can throw out some ranged lightning attacks, and I can paralyze that big wolf if it's going to be too dangerous, although i can only do that from up close. "It seemed like he would be decently useful here as someone who could actually make the big wolf just miss and waste its effort as long as doing so didn't mean it'd go past him and hit an ally, this might require some maneuvering so he could control the Fenrir well like a matador dodging a bull. As long as he could get it to focus on him this was probably a viable strategy. Even if he couldn't do something like that, he and Guinsoo could probably just fight it head on if they had to to stop it from reaching vulnerable allies like Amice.

He got the impression he should just wait for more people to introduce themselves and their powers/skillsets after that, or if Evalye would say what her own powers were now.

So in the meantime, he just did his mission application on his COMB, not moving away from the group so it would be easier to hear what everyone said.

Kurome looked at Lucia who approached and at that point she only rested her right hand on top of Amice. No longer petting the halfling. The frozen porcelain doll-like facial expression of Kurome would slowly crackle as she opened her mouth and exhaled one long feline hiss and reached on to the blade on her left hand, slowly unveiling it’s grime filled blade underneath it’s oriental sheathe. Dark in ebony, the blade was probably the dullest you had ever laid your eyes upon. It was like it told a story long forgotten. The object was cold and chilling, like haunted by the crimes of the sinner who wielded it. There was no doubt about it’s cursed nature.

”Back off.” She would say in a quiet tone. Her voice was calm and collected. Like there was nothing strange going on with the situation. Rather, it was not even demanding. It was sweet, unlike her nonchalant introduction. It did not feel like a threat, it was simply same as describing: Lovely weather, eh? - or something along the line during an afternoon tea with an acquittance. All while Kurome’s height had dropped for an inch and she closed her mouth, it was blank again.

Evalye would look at Ryan who finally introduced himself. Her slowly twirled into blue, as if someone was dropping inks of colored water into a pond. It was most definitely a long speech, opposed to everyone else here. Evalye also noticed at the warnings given by Kurome and she would just casually shrug it off. ”Don’t tease the cat.” – whispering loudly enough for Lucia to hear, she’d continue to look over her shoulder at Lucia who was trying to make an approach on Kurome and Amice, giving a playful smile.

She then turned her attention back at Ryan and Guinsoo: ”I punch really hard when I feel like it. And I can mend your injuries when I feel like it. So better make sure I stay in the mood, 'kay?” Evalye would stick out her tongue for a moment.

Evalye would then open up her COMB and go over the map, there was already some level of fiddling with the settings and making it more customized. One of the multiple applications developed for the platform. ”Remember to be careful when you punch a wolf. You might get the fang.” Evalye would point this out on Ryan followed by a playful tone and giggle.

”Is everyone ready to head out? Those who prefer to stay away from frontlines should say so. I trust that everyone else is ready to punch some wolves. So let’s go there and give them a kick. Receptionist girl, I believe everything is in order, yes?”

Evalye's smile would transform into a very faint smile, almost shrouded in slight mystery, as she gave Ciela a stare.

Current Appearance: Lucia has a tattoo on her forehead and on both palms. Her eyes are light blue and her hair is done up in an intricate hairstyle with lots of beads and braids. The hood of her outfit is currently down.

Amice seemed surprised at Lucia's name, from the way she phrased the question it was probable that there was another SOUL named Lucia, or at least, another person called Lucia that Amice knew. This created an interesting thought, what if the other Lucia was also from Earth? Was it really even that big of a coincidence? Lucia didn't have much time to ponder these thoughts, however, as Amice provided an answer to her question. "Fifteen? She looks much younger than that... Still, it's too young of an age to be subject to dangerous missions," Lucia thought, her brow furrowed in concern.

She opened her mouth to reply but cat-woman was first, muttering a threat that Lucia didn't even recognise at first. The tone used suggested a casual phrase, but once Lucia comprehended what Kurome said, it was clear that she wasn't being very friendly. Lucia switched her gaze over to Kurome, activating her Blackfyre Sight and analysing Kurome's physical attributes. Her eyes briefly flashed crimson as this happened.

Surprisingly, Kurome's attributes were undiscernable to Lucia. She frowned, unsure why her Blackfyre Sight hadn't worked. Perhaps it had something to do with Kurome's power? She had mentioned that she was an assassin. Nonetheless, Lucia didn't want to start anything, especially not with someone who was going on the same mission as her. Lucia maintained a neutral expression but her gaze remained on Kurome, her eyes narrowed slightly and appraised the girl. Evayle whispered some advice to Lucia but she paid no mind to it. After a couple seconds, she relaxed and stood up.

She took a couple of steps back and looked down at Amice. She decided not to push the age thing, fifteen was still too young but at least Amice wasn't a young child. "Alright then Amice, I look forward to working with you," Lucia said, casting a meaningful glance at Kurome. Meanwhile, the unremarkable boy had introduced himself as Ryan and talked about his abilities. Evayle explained her abilities as well and Lucia listened to both earnestly, it was important to know the capabilities of your teammates.

Lucia decided she would also share her abilities, "I'm able to see various physical capabilities of enemies and allies, I'm also able to lower those physical capabilities for a short period of time. So if these wolves are meant to be pretty fast then I'll be able to lower their speed and make it easier for you guys to eliminate them." She didn't know how or why, but her power in this life was different to her previous life. What was more confusing was the fact that she had been summoned with the knowledge of her new power and how it worked. She was willing to bet that was Persephone's work.

As usual, it wasn't long before enough SOULs gathered in the mission hall and submitted their applications. Some applied with their COMBs while others filled out the forms, and she went through approving them. The first was the new SOUL who begged for a mission, and the second was one who had been around for some time but hadn't been on any missions yet, so Ciela could only wait and see how well they performed. There was also the beastkind fighter who was ironically on his first non-urgent mission. Of all the ones who submitted their applications without talking to her, she was the most surprised by the fact that there was a second SOUL named 'Lucia' in the same branch of Astraea...then again, there had been a lot of strange coincidences lately.

Then another SOUL suddenly appeared next to Ciela instead of standing in front of her desk, due to being was so adorably tiny that she couldn't even reach the desk's height. It was Amice's third time applying for a mission, so Ciela kept her composure more this time, being almost used to the excessive cuteness now...Almost.

"...Y-yes, of course you can join. Amice Bellamy on duty for "Wolf Pack Defense" confirmed..."

Ciela suspected the others might be troubled at the idea of sending Amice on this mission, but she couldn't exactly deny her from choosing to join. It helped that she wasn't as young as she looked due to being a Halfling and had a supportive power, so she at least wouldn't be on the front lines...

Soon enough, all the applications were sent virtually or handed in, and Ciela approved all of them for the mission. Their team was more than strong enough for an E+ rank mission, with half the SOULs being D rank, assuming they were competent enough as well.

"Your applications have all been processed. Evalye, Kurome, Lucia Roy, Guinsoo, and Ryan Collins on duty for "Wolf Pack Defense" confirmed..."

After that, it was time to start the mission. Ciela addressed all six participants as she spoke, giving them their orders for the mission.

"Attention all participants for the mission "Wolf Pack Defense": You are to head to Abberton Village and defend against the group of 6 Garms and one Fenrir spotted as well as any other enemies encountered. The village can be found on the road leading east of Yvalia, and you should speak to the guards there for any further information. Your objectives include minimizing military casualties if possible, but more importantly use whatever tactics necessary to ensure the village's safety. If there are no further questions, then you are to move out immediately."

Then Ciela waited to see if they would ask anything else. They weren't extremely short on time to get to the village, but they didn't have forever either, so they would be better off talking strategy as they went.

Amice Bellamy & Pixies!

After being put on the mission, Amice would thank Ciela; “Thank you miss Ciela!” Everyone else was talking about what they could do again, like they did at the start of other missions as well. Amice would join in, saying what the pixies could do, if it wasn't for the fact that she didn't have enough time to do so. Amice got kind-off confused by Kurome, not realising that she'd been claimed as the cats newest toy. It seemed like most of their team existed of people that punched stuff, as it was a returning theme. Short after, they were told out to go to a village.

That's why Amice would introduce her pixies' awesome powers along the way, and mention that she preferred to stay away from the front-lines to Evalye. “I have to stay away from the monsters, but the pixies are really amazing! Emerald can heal people, Indigo can give them prana, Chartreuse can make a barrier, and Timberwolf can make someone invisible! Tangerine even learned a new trick! She can now make people fast enough to make it seem like they can do two things at once! (Quickness) None of them can use their powers on me, though, because I summoned them, and they disappear without the book.”
That's the introduction she'd give them along the way towards Abberton, after leaving the area.

Ryan explained his fighting style to be also that of another man of culture. Although he had more fancy tricks up his sleeves than Guinsoo, being able to paralyze and all. Guinsoo's fighting style was literally going hard and fast. Well, he also had a form of paralyze, but it was more hitting someone so hard they stop right in their tracks.

Everyone seemed to explain in short what they can do, except for Kurome. She apparently just kept it very brief by saying "Assassin". Which is fine, he did have an idea of what assassins usually do. But it seems like they dont have many frontliners.

For Evalye, she also punches things hard! A woman of culture this time! Guinsoo nodded, seeing so many people who have grown up in the right culture. But that wasn't all. She could also mend injuries, what a blessing!

Lucia was able to see the various physical capabilities of enemies and allies, as well as lowering those capabilities for a short while. A truly great ability to have. Maybe Guinsoo could figure out how to do that as well.

Amice mentioned something that Guinsoo could've guessed with the physical appearance of Amice. But it's best to not judge a book by it's cover! Although this time, his judgement was right! Amice had to stay away from the monsters, and mentioned what the pixies could do. The one called Timberwolf seemed like a great duo with their Assassin, Kurome! And the rest of the pixies seemed incredibly useful as well. "Oh right, this is my partner.", Guinsoo summoned his battle-axe, Ornn, on his back. Strapped until it really needs to come out as he pointed to it with his thumb, "Ornn!". -50 Prana

"Let's just head out and have some fun!", He would just go with the group as they head out, leaving the area.

Kurome looked like being on an edge for a moment but as Lucia did not get closer to her personal space, she took one step backwards and appeared to be standing a few inches taller. And it was as if, she had never unsheathed her blade.

And not only that the feline had a smug smile as she kept at a constant vigil around Amice talk about yandere parenting. Either way she didn’t pay that much attention to it. And if anything she even appeared to look at Lucia with a different eye. Like a cat, first pushing someone away and then pushing itself unto them.

The feline would follow-up without an incident.Leaving the area.

(However as they’d be walking – depending on Lucia’s lipreading skills, Kurome would at some point turn around move her lips; only to her: “You better help keep Amice safe. Or else.”) However she would then turn around her head and pretend like nothing happened.

Evalye would focus for a little, summoning her astral gear as everyone seemed to be ready. Her eyes turned red although a color of rose would emanate from her hands and feet. And as she started with the mission, her school girl outfit would flare up, evaporating as if burning in rose flames. As she underwent a brief magical girl transformation.

”Well I hope that we’ll do just fine. I trust healing for you lady Emerald and miss Amice. I'll help you, if it gets too hard. On the meanwhile. I can stand in front to protect you. I'm quite strong..” Evalye would make a quick flexing gesture before continuing with her advance.

She then glanced back at Guinsoo: ”Umu, let’s have fun!”

Evalye would leave the area with rest of the group.

Evalye apparently was good at punching things, and healing people. He hadn't expected the next fist-user SOUL he met to be a girl, but he couldn't complain about there being more people around who enjoyed melee combat.

The mission they were given seemed pretty standard, compared to what he remembered of the mission logs and missions he had been in. 6 Garms and a Fenrir.

But as he listened to Amice, his eyes lit up with surprise at the new powers her pixies had learned? Even better speed boosting? Yes! And apparently, also a barrier and invisibility magic, only the last one being useless here.

Ryan shared Guinsoo's enthusiasm, to go out and have fun, but while he liked a good fight, they needed to make sure they did this right. "Sounds good! But we should get our plan figured out before we've left the HQ. I don't have any full idea on how we should do this, but there are at least a few things we should do. Amice, you're probably going to need to have Tangerine help me or Guinsoo get even faster towards the start of the fight. Basically, I think we should try to quickly kill as many Garms as we can to thin out their numbers so they can't overwhelm us. Only 4 of us fight with direct attacks but all 7 of the enemies do that, so it's gonna be bad if the Garms can overwhelm us. Anyway, that's about all I've got for ideas.

It seemed like with him, Guinsoo, and Amice, they could now hit the enemies really hard and fast and make it go well due to there only being one Fenrir right now. Everyone else would be alright at keeping the Garms busy and dealing some damage, while Guinsoo and Ryan could focus on killing them off and keeping the Fenrir busy. Maybe one of them would have to focus more on the Fenrir. Ryan would leave the mission hall with the others as they discussed their plan to whatever extent they needed to. He was pretty sure they could fight these guys. It would be fun to finally fight the fastest CS type! They probably didn't really need a super complicated plan. They just needed to make it so the head on fighters among them could stick to focusing on the fight and not having to deal with overwhelming numbers too much.

It turned out that missions filled up pretty quickly here, Ciela called out, stating that all their applications had been processed and approved. They were officially ready to start their mission - Lucia's first. She felt out of her comfort zone and there was some doubt in her mind about participating. She didn't even know this world and she was already going out to fight against Garms and a Fenrir, two beasts which she didn't know much about at all.

She had no experience fighting with her new powers, she didn't know the culture and what people expected from her as a SOUL, nor did she have any prior experience fighting with any of her new teammates. She was woefully unprepared and she knew it. Nonetheless, she breathed in a deep breath and relaxed as best she could. She was adaptable and normally performed well under stress, she would pull through somehow.

While she thought about these things the others continued to talk. She didn't pay much attention to what they were saying until Guinsoo summoned a great big axe and hefted the thing onto his shoulder. Lucia stared at it for a second, wondering why he summoned it so early on. He would just have to carry the thing around and tire himself out. She saw it as an advantage to have summonable weapons; if you don't have to carry that extra weight until you need it, it's a big improvement in the quality of life department.

She would leave with the others and as they walked she would listen to what they had to say. Amice explained her powers, it provided some sense of relief that Amice was at least a supportive type and wouldn't be on the front lines. Ryan began talking about a plan, which Lucia saw as quite practical. She immediately attributed a bit more respect the unremarkable looking boy, appreciating the fact that he was trying to initiate some kind of discussion on strategy. She would pipe up at this point, Agreed. I can try and slow down the Garms as they approach, I'll target the ones that are further behind, allowing you to deal with the first ones under less pressure. Unless, of course, you would prefer I target the front liners. Apart from that, I'll provide supportive fire with my Glock where I can. I fear I may not have the best aim though, my abilities are not... up to the standard I'm familiar with."

After she said all this, she would notice Kurome turn around and mouth something to her, she frowned, trying to decipher the message. She could make out a couple of words, mainly 'safe', 'Amice', and 'better'. She could fill in the context based on those three words and simply gave Kurome a curt nod in return. As much as she was confident that she had accurately understood what Kurome had said - or rather mouthed - there was always the chance she had misunderstood completely. A simple nod would be an appropriate response to most things, simple acknowledgement was always an acceptable reply.
