Berserker has already escaped out of view, so Gilgamesh's chains wouldn't reach out that far.

Naturally, these mongrels have made a mess of things. This chaos brings pleasure, but it is also rather unsightly. Hmm? What is that man in a lab coat doing frolicking amist a battle? Is he mad? He is certainly one who has caught my interest. He and the beautiful flower that is his servant.

Saber

Amidst all the confusion, Saber's eyes desperately search for her Master, instead, they find the red-eyed, blond youth who, in turn, had found her Master.

Saber's heart stopped as she flung herself towards Okabe, sword at the ready.

"Okabe!" cried Saber as she shielded him from the glare of the pompous false God.

((You know what? I'll just post this and let Caren review the battle. I don't really care how it ends up.))

Servant:
Archer
Master of Archer: Emiya Shirou ((temporarily taking control with player's permission))

Outside of Einzbern castle. Night.

Shirou and Archer watch as the three Servants turn on Berserker.

"So, what are you going to do? As a Champion of Justice, you should go in and save them", Archer says, glancing at Shirou to see his reaction.
Remaining silent, Shirou looks at the mad giant is slowly getting killed, with combined magical explosions, numerous Noble Phantasms golden Servant is launching and Saber's invisible slashes.

'This is wrong', Shirou thinks for himself as the past events play in his mind. 'Even back then, it felt wrong... now, it's even more so'
Shirou curses himself as he sees the figures of the people that are supposed to be Berserker's master. 'They're in the same situation she was... and I'm still as powerless.

---------------------------------------------------
((If Berserker is already dead or has escaped, discard this part))

Suddenly, Shirou realizes: he's not as powerless as she was before. Right now, he actually has someone from who he can borrow strength, even if the act is futile.
"Archer", Shirou speaks up finally with the commanding tone.

In response, the red knight materializes.
"Please. Fire a volley of arrows; aim for everyone but Saber, her master and Berserker's master", Shirou finally orders. Sensing question from his Servant, he turns to face Archer: "Going in directly would be suicide right now. I can't save everyone. However, it's the Holy Grail, and eventually we'll have to eliminate Berserker."

"What if they target us?", Archer asks with small shock on his face, interested in his answer; he certainly didn't expect that from Shirou.
"We'll retreat. There's no need to fight directly today. Though, we might give Berserker's Master a chance to get to safety", Shirou responds, then looks back at the battle: "I'll give you the signal."

Archer smiles, somewhat satisfied with the answer. A black bow suddenly appears in his hand, and he takes aim and waits. Shirou counts the lives Berserker lost, waiting for it to hit low count. Once Berserker's lives hit 2, Shirou says: "Now."

On that signal, Archer unleashes the volley of arrows, which covers the whole sky over the battlefield. However, there are much less arrows over Saber and her Master than the rest.

Everything

freezes.

Time, space, the WORLD.

This
queEStioNABle rEaLIty

To the WORLD, four hours are lost.[/center]

Only a few days into the Seventh Holy Grail War, she the priestess decides to activate the true ability of the Holy Sacrament Raviel and interfere. Not out of some moral obligation, but on a whim, as if thinking 'it will be more fun this way'.

From the point of view of an onlooker, it would be as though a panel of glass had abruptly fallen out of the sky and boosted their speed so much that they bursted off at hypersonic levels.

And so resume.

Overseer: Caren
Location: Shinto, Kotomine Church

"Good evening. Berserker, Elizabeth. My, that was quite a horrible situation, wasn't it? Why you ever thought being around my father was safe, I have no idea."

Through some miracle, Berserker had smashed through the forest, avoided all obstacles, and made it to the finish line. The greatest safe zone, the Church of the one who oversees this war. Both him and the one he's carrying are mortally wounded, and they should've died from the disastrous deception that had occurred on the grounds of the Einzbern Castle...but they aren't. He bursts through the Church and collapses in front of the Overseer.

Berserker has suffered from heavy wounds which are still regenerating, having lost six of his lives due to the merciless assault by the King of Heroes. Countless weapons are sticking out of his body. Not only that, but due to the loss of his Master Ashikaga, he no longer possesses a supply of mana to sustain his form. At most, he will last only half an hour.

As for Elizabeth, her shirt is torn as though something had punctured through it, but she has been healed back to full health, her heart having been fixed. However, her partner Ashikaga is no more.

Noticeably, there is a large object made out of glass floating behind Caren, reflecting various scenes all throughout Fuyuki City, one of which being the forest in which they'd been ambushed.

In fact, neither of them should have survived. However, due to some alteration of reality and application of a certain concept, combined with Berserker's own extreme resilience and determination, they made it to the end. An impossible retreat made possible.

Caren steps back from the duo.

"If the Holy Church found out that I used the Holy Scripture for a matter as minor as this, I may get in trouble, but I don't really care about that. More importantly, the two of you are still alive, so I thought 'hey, I should take advantage of this'...
And you know, this is actually turning out to be more fun than letting you die. So here's how it'll go."

With an odd smile, she walks over to Elizabeth first, who was no doubt still in pain and incredible shock.

"You, magus, have a choice to make.
See, I have a Command Seal that I can grant to you, but only if you sign a Self-Geas Scroll of mine that'll make you obey my every order from now on. Once it's transplanted onto your arm, your first option is to make a contract with this Berserker again, and your second option is to summon the last remaining Servant, Assassin.
But, there's also a third option. In the back, I have that Ashikaga stored in a freezer. His his brain functions have been slowed to stave off his death, but his heart was unfortunately beyond my repair, unlike yours. However, a heart transplant could revive him should you act quickly.
And if you don't like either of the three, then I can just end you right here and now. Grant you a merciful death.
...
Well then, which will you choose? Berserker, Assassin, your love, or death?"

After having made such a sadistic choice to Elizabeth, Caren then turned to Berserker, with equally malicious intent.

"And now, as for you, rabid dog... You'll disappear very soon if nothing is done, but you too have options of your own. Assuming you have the sanity to choose, anyway.
First of all, you can hope to death that this lady here will either make a contract with you, or revive Ashikaga and restore your connection with him.
Second, you can leave this Church now and try to find another magus, one who might want to make a contract with you. Chances of that are really slim, though.
And third..." Caren grinned. "You can make a contract with me. If you want, of course. The Holy Church doesn't need to know about it, and I could put you to very good use, you know?"

Of course, she did not tell them that there was one final option that she could take.

The rollback of 'time' back to that moment immediately before the ambush, which in an ordinary reality would constitute as Fifth Magic. However, it wouldn't be very fun to let them know of such an option. If they rolled back, their deaths were almost assuredly guaranteed.

"Now then, you two... Make your decision."

Meanwhile, she was thinking to herself - I should probably keep more track of these kind of things from now on, huh...

~ ~ ~

Meanwhile, the pane of glass known as Raviel floats over all of Fuyuki.

Through some strange force, within the hours that the WORLD has lost, everyone returns to their homes naturally, without saying a word or questioning why.

Once they are inside, they are released and free to do as they wish again.

Elizabeth's hair was ragged and all over the place. Her eyes were narrowed with a dull blank look. Her hair produced a shadow that made her look like nothing more than a zombie. Her ears were ringing and and she blinked once. As all of the images of the beginning of the day flashed through......From the moment Ashikaga chased out the stranger she slept with with nothing but his boxers and an empty wine bottle, his reaction to the prank her and berserker played, too there moments inside as they talked about goals and the grail, to training, to there first attempt to have the overseer...To Ashikaga's final moments with her before his death. Those last few flashed even faster, going from face to face in the scene. To her own magic, and then finally, to Ashikaga smashed against the wall, fatally wounded.

Her eyes widened as she shook with panic and fear, opening her mouth wide to scream....However. Nothing came out. Just small stutters as she leaned back. Her golden pupils moved around furious as she recollected the horrifying thoughts of what was going on. Before she leaned forward from where she was resting. Breathing heavily as she leaned forward and smacked herself in the head hard. biting her lip down as she whimpered. In an attempt not to cry. However, it was too late. Tears started to quickly stream down her face. As she finally started to weep. it was a loud, ugly cry. Tears, filled with regret and sorrow. Nothing that ever happened in her past could have prepared her for something like this...It was too much for her to bear.

"Holy? Advantage? Choice?" She rasped in a shaky voice, constantly shifting tones and pitches between each word. Sniffling as she tried to maintain herself in front of the women that they were now sitting before. As she looked up at the overseer as she began to speak. Quickly looking down as she thought about it biting her lip, quivering a little bit as her eyes continued to shake, in fact. She even started to tremble at what she remembered.

A flash occurred of her as she used her conjuration magic. Realizing that he was mouthing something before he rose his hand to use his final 2 command seals. He said that, "It should be me suffering, not her..." Watching his practically crushed body against the wall made her want to break out and cry once more. However she only bit her lip and held it in as more tears swelled in her eyes....There was nothing she could do....Nothing...From the beginning, to the very end. All she could do was take the Grail as a joke. She played around and teased Ashikaga on multiple occasions. And even in there final moments, she still proceeded to joke around in a situation like this....She had in the end, screwing up the chance of all of Ashikaga's dreams. And watched half of berserkers life's. She had no right to call herself a master of conjuration any longer...Despite her power, she couldn't do anything to overwhelm the opposing team.

"Ashikaga risked what little life he had to save me and berserker from this h ell...And berserker had to die a excruciating 6 times...I don't even want to know what happened to Ashikaga after we manged to somehow escape...You are correct. It was indeed gruesome....I thought I was already in some sort of hell....Ashikaga. He told me that I did not being here. Despite that I was stronger..Or perhaps...Maybe I was never that strong at all compared to him. He would want me to back out and live on a peaceful life...However.." She paused as she looked up at the overseer. "That isn't going to be an option is it...I guess..." She stopped herself not being able to spit out of rest of her sentence as she sniffed again and looked down. Most of her raged hair had fallen down to either side of her.

It was obvious that she was deep in thought. Tears dried in her eyes as she obviously was reminiscing on great times they may or may not have had together. However a faded and weak grin was able to form on her face. At the same time, the mixture that could be seen in her eyes was only regret and grief. "Then the only thing I can do is to finish this hell, and make Ashikaga's wish happen. He would not be happy with me if I brought him back with me in this hell. Especially to face all of this hell once more....He needs to rest. I put him through enough pain." She said narrowing her eyes as she thought about it a bit more. her eyes red from crying as the tears now dried up in on her cheeks as she thought about it a bit more. Still trembling a little bit. Though her facial expression seemed to slowly start to calm down more. Her skin was still rather pale though More pale than it normally was.

She would never be able to trust any magic this overseer could do. Especially after hearing how she treated the situation. It made her cringe a little bit. Ashikaga had to be brain dead at this point. Keeping him alive like that...She would never be able to let it go down. She had to let go. "I have failed my apprentice, and I have failed berseker. I wish to carry on Ashikaga's goals for wining the holy grail. I will accept your command seal and retake berseker as my servant. I still don't know who berseker is. But he is defiantly human. There is no way I would turn my back on the man who saved my life and leave him to face such a cruel fate for himself. We gotta share the plate, wouldn't ya say so Berseker?" She asked with a soft and weak chuckle as she gave his stomach a friendly shoulder nudge. Not being high enough to reach his shoulders.

"And I- we will follow your instruction. I am not fit to lead myself any longer.." She exhaled heavily her voice still a bit shaky and doubtful about what she was doing. But she was too deep to quit. She couldn't die yet. For the sake of Ashikaga's lost dream if nothing else. "You know...I was planning on meeting you today on better terms...I wanted you to sit down with me and Ashikaga so we could get a better understanding of the war...What it was, and what it meant. And everything about it really....But in a twisted kinda way. I feel like it was better this way."

She said giving a weak, crushed smile. It was obvious that she was still in heavy grief mode. Just the tone of her voice could give it all away. "Because now...I know what this war is. I know what kind of things people to do o get there hands on it....The holy grail...The great and powerful wish granting device...You know, I tried to sneak in by clamming we were full hearted and dedicated Christians. But I know now that this isn't just some regular dull church. And she turned to give the overseer a stern stare. And you aren't just some goody two shoes priest either. I am glad we could meet like this Overseer." She said reaching out her hand to shake.

Master of Archer: Emiya Shirou
Tohsaka Residence

Time: At night

Emiya Shirou's eyes snapped open. His eyes searched his surroundings, finding himself lying haphazardly on an armchair in Rin's living room. He shifted his body slightly, and upset the armchair completely, tumbling down onto the floor with a resounding crash.

"Ow...What the hell?" Shirou grumbled as he fumbled around on the ground. When he was finally able to stand up shakily, he shook his head to clear all the fuzz in his mind. He was scouting with Archer when he decided to join the fight where Bers-

Wait. What.

Waitwaitwaitwaitwait...if I was at the Berserker fight, what am I doing here?

Shirou groaned as he paced around the room, wondering what on earth happened. He remembered Berserker making it to the Church half-dead, and his decision to retreat with Archer afterwards. After that...

I remember...someone? She said something...? Why am I drawing a blank?

That was when he noticed Archer wasn't with him in the room.

Tch, where did he go?

As if on cue, Archer strode in from the kitchen, holding a tray with a teapot and two teacups. He walked past Shirou, put the tray down, and leaned against the wall close to the toppled armchair.

"Good evening, Master. You look weird. Care for some tea?" Archer drawled, watching Shirou's face go from confusion, curiosity, more confusion, exasperation and finally decided upon a befuddled face.

Shirou mechanically walked to the teapot, poured himself a cup of tea, drank it with deliberation, put it back down, closed his eyes calmly and lost it.

"WHAT HAPPENED? WHY ARE WE BACK HERE? WHY ARE YOU," and here Archer chuckled, striding over to pour himself some tea, "SO CALM?!"

"Calm down. There's nothing to worry about," Archer spoke smoothly, his features serene as ever. "I believe the overseer intervened and sent all of the participants back into their own homes. Hmm, I didn't think she would have the power to mimic the Fifth..."

Archer reached for the toppled armchair and set it back upright, sitting down on it and crossing his legs.

He closed an eye and smirked at Shirou, "So we were all sent back, and you happened to get a rough ride. I doubt Berserker would die that easily though, so keep your guard up. Regardless, we learnt a lot tonight. Who would've known the hero I was pretending to be was actually summoned in this War?"

Shirou got over his shock enough to snap his gaping mouth shut and ponder about what Archer said.

"Y-Yes, you're right. We did learn something tonight," Shirou murmured as he sat down on the armchair across Archer's. "To think Gilgamesh would be summoned. And the Fifth Caster as well! This is some reunion...maybe I might meet that dog of a Lancer again..."

Archer sipped some tea as he replied, "I'm not sure what you mean by reunion, but I guess you've met these Servants before in another War."

Shirou nodded and Archer "hmm"ed before continuing, "This is great. If you remember their capabilities, we'll be the only team who knows so much about our opponents. I suggest we continue to try and make contact with Saber and avoid Gilgamesh as much as possible."

Shirou nodded again and groaned, "Yeah, let's do that. I'll fill you in about the Servants while I prepare for bed."

He stood up and headed for Rin's his bedroom, his Servant following behind him.

For the young Master and his red knight, the first night of the War came to a close.

*Emiya Shirou and Archer are back at the Tohsaka Residence*
*Archer's reserves are currently being refilled. Time to completely refill reserves: 3 hours*
*WISE UP: Shirou and Archer now know about Saber, Caster, Gilgamesh, Berserker (unsure if he's dead), Rider (unsure of NP, only knows about chain and dagger).*

Overseer: Caren Hortensia
Location: Shinto, Kotomine Church

"Yes, I heard, although your lies were so unseemly that I refused to come out. If you aren't going to be honest, then it would merely be bothersome to deal with you. But like this..."

Truly, the woman had changed a lot in a very short span of time, no longer resembling that once-astounding bravado she had at the beginning of the Holy Grail War. All it took was a tragedy like this to break an individual down to their very core. Revealing the dynamic between hope and despair, grateful merely to be alive, and nothing more. Without a doubt, she didn't regret stepping in to save these two - after all, she was definitely having the most fun in her whole life.

With a wide grin and a glint in her eyes, Caren pulled up her left sleeve, revealing three long Command Seals etched into her skin. Then she reached as if to shake Elizabeth's hand...

"Very well then. If that is you wish then I shall be glad to oblige, dear Elizabeth."

...before abruptly grasping onto her wrist, jerking it forth, and touching the back of her hand with her own that had the seals. Although, it was with such force that it was like she'd been trying to sink her nails into her skin.

"Take, and drink.
This is my blood, given to you for the forgiveness of all sins.
The blood of covenant that shall be forged between us!"

A red glow began to emit from where their hands were touching, and while it went on, Elizabeth must've been feeling a painful sensation, like a kitchen knife mercilessly carving itself into her skin without care. It lasted only a few seconds, but could've felt like forever - yet once it's finally done, there is now a single Command Seal on her hand, resembling the ones Ashikaga once had.

"It is done." Caren said dully, stepping back, and for some reason, her words feel stranger to Elizabeth than normal. More...compelling, in a way?

"Now you possess a Command Seal and the right to become the new Master of Berserker. The Geas has been placed, etched into your soul, but I may not require use of you for some time... In any case, I hope you will continue the fight for the glory of the Holy Grail, in the place of your lost apprentice."

Once the deed was done, the priestess clicked her fingers and, although nothing seemed to happen at all, a heavy feeling fell around them. It wasn't hard to guess what had just occurred - to begin with, even though the damaged man had been in an unconscious state, he wouldn't have lasted more than a few minutes, at most. It was pointless to keep him attached to the land of the living any longer. With this, the one known as 'Ashikaga' was gone for good.

"Now then... That leaves only you, Berserker."

Afterwards, Caren turns to the massive hulking man, who's still regenerating over to the side with a sheer amount of wounds on him.

"Will you choose this lady to be your Master, or are you to chooses your own fate?"

Master of Caster: Kirei Kotomine
Location: Fuyuki Church

Once Berserker and Elizabeth had both made their choices and left, Caren stood outside the front door of the church, thinking over what she had just done. After pondering for a moment, she looked around before entering the church once more. The sight that met her was an unexpected one.

The person in front of her, as well as his tone of voice took Caren by surprise. It looked for a moment as if she had lost her nerve, but in the next instant she quickly regained her composure, and was able to meet the gaze of Kirei Kotomine.

“Oh my. You’re not supposed to be here. Why have you come?”
“Honestly, I have no idea. One moment I’m witnessing the aftermath of a fierce battle, the next I find myself in the lovely comfort of my former church.”
Unable to resist old habits, Kirei begins pacing. Caren continues to stand in front of doorway opposite, not taking her eyes off him. Her expression shows how unwelcome this new visitor is.
“It’s almost as if some mysterious force wished to send me home” Kirei continued, “and knew that this church is where I should be sent. It does confuse me, however, since I am no longer in charge of this place, nor am I an overseer. A little suspicious that I’d suddenly find myself in your place of operations, is it not?”

“Hmm... Well, it does not matter why you’re here, since you'll be taking your leave right now.” Her response was as cool as ice. She was not going to let this person’s words get to her.
“I have no intention of staying. Whatever this place was before, it is now entirely your own. Allow me to complement you by saying that you have fit into the role of overseer far better than even I could’ve expected.”
“How would you know?” She inquired.
“How long do you think I’ve been here listening?” He returned.
“The balcony?”
“Indeed. Seems you can’t escape your inherited traits, no matter how much you’d like to deny them.”

By this time Kirei had already circled around from the front of church, and was making his way down along the tall windows on the side of the hall.
Caren brushed off the priest’s insinuations, “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
“Is that all? I would have thought you’d give me more than that.” Kirei chuckled.

Narrowing his eyes, he began observing her more keenly. “You hear it, don’t you?”
“Hear what?”
“People’s true cries of pain. Even when someone isn’t showing any obvious signs of grief, somehow you can just tell by looking at them.”
He was now approaching her and the doorway as he rounded the corner.
“They may deny it, but it’s always there; an internal plea for mercy and help. A hopeless sound only made from someone who is at their most vulnerable, and is trying their best to hide it.”
Now standing in front of her, Kirei looked down at his daughter. “It’s a beautiful sound, isn’t it? You almost feel compelled to not help them, just so that sweet cry can continue to fill your soul with joy. That feeling is quickly superseded by a much more powerful desire though: the desire to control. You have the power to save this person, or you have the power to let them sink further into despair. They are in the palm of your hand, and you may do with them as you wish; make them into whatever you want.”

Leaning down so his mouth meets the side of Caren’s head just above the ear, Kirei asks in an undertone. “Tell me Caren, what do you want?”

(While we wait for the rest of the RP to catch up, let's have a bit of filler + Shirou x Rin fluff! Pardon my writing skills, I'm rather bad at doing stuff like this ^_^)

Master of Archer, Emiya Shirou
Tohsaka Residence, Tohsaka's room

It was past midnight. Shirou lay in his sleeping bag, his eyes shut tight but his mind still working overtime. The very fact that Gilgamesh had been summoned as the eighth Servant meant trouble, and coupled with Kirei still alive, Saber returning and the entire debacle with Berserker, caused him to wriggle around in his sleeping bag.

He wasn't sleeping on Rin's bed because he could not get used to the texture and softness of the bed. He was more suited for sleeping on a tatami or in a sleeping bag, which was why he had brought his over to the Tohsaka Residence. Normally, he would've been fast asleep, but the events that happened occurred too fast and too chaotic, leaving him disoriented and feeling lacklustre.

He knew that in a battle against a Servant, he would never be able to keep up, and when he saw Berserker tearing through the foliage in his mad dash to the Church, Saber's elegant swordsmanship, Caster's rain of light and Gilgamesh's golden treasury, he knew he was outmatched. But he had his Servant, Archer, whose arrows could match Gilgamesh's projectiles, and whose intellect in battle was second-to-none in this War.

He knew that, and yet he felt so annoyed. That feeling of helplessness was no longer choking him, unlike the time back in the Fifth, when Caster took everything away from him. Now, he was far more powerful and experienced, and he had his Servant by his side. Why was he so restless then?

Shirou unzipped his sleeping bag and sat up. He sat cross-legged and placed his hands on his thighs, entering a state of serenity. He cocked the hammer in his head and brought it down, turning on his magic circuits. 27 streams of energy responded to his command, blazing with prana he had absorbed from the leyline.

He took a deep breath and focused, reaching into his mind, into bzz-zzz-zzt-zzt...No, he had to reach past that, reach past the fuzzy events of that night and into the deeper recesses of his mind. There, he found the image he wanted.

Trace on.

A dim orange light shone from his hands as an object materialised. In his hands lay an Azoth Sword, a shimmering violet dagger that Rin had carried with her. He felt its history, its hidden potential, and more importantly, its connection with Rin.

He could almost feel her warm hand on his as he grasped the handle of the sword. He held it up to the moonlight, watching the silver light reflect off the blade beautifully. It reminded him of how he had sat under the moonlight with Rin that one night, as she tried to talk some sense into him and make him enjoy life.

He could hear Rin's voice now, yelling at him, ordering him to win the War and threatening him with all sorts of torture if he failed. He could see her, in her black miniskirt and thigh-high stockings, twirling a gem in her hand as she lectured him on magic theory.

Shirou opened his tired eyes, and smiled softly to himself. That's right, I miss her. I miss Rin.

He had volunteered to fight in the War in place of Rin, knowing very well what danger she would have been in if he did not interfere. The Clock Tower wanted a representative in the War, knowing that the Grail was no longer contested by the Matou and Einzbern, and was open for grabs. Rin had to destroy it, and if she did, she would incur the wrath of many Clock Tower members, and would spark a civil war within the Association.

She had slapped him then, in front of Lord El-Melloi II, after he crashed into his office and told him her was going to Fuyuki. She had stormed away afterwards, and he chased her to her dorm room.

She kicked and punched and screamed. She threw a chair across the room.

She cried.

And that was when Shirou knew he had to join the War. He had to take her place and protect what they had created. He could do nothing but hug her, comfort her, lie on the bed with her until she slept, two stream of tears still fresh on her face.

He left soon after. El Melloi had met him back at the office, and asked him if he was going to destroy the Grail. Shirou had replied in the affirmative and El Melloi organised everything for him. And in two hours, he was on a plane back to Fuyuki.

That was what he meant when he told Archer that it was the only path. He had no regrets, but still...still he yearned for the one girl who always stood by his side.

Shirou stood up and dismissed the Azoth Blade, the dagger dissipating into golden sparkles. He walked over to Rin's bed and climbed into it, taking a deep breath as he dived into the blankets.

It certainly does smell like her. Ugh, what am I thinking...She'll call me a pervert...But...still...it's so...so...so...

And Emiya Shirou fell asleep, a soft smile plastered on his face as he dreamed of red and black.

Location: Shinto, the Church

"What I...want?"

Caren remains expressionless as the unprecedented visitor talks to her from an uncomfortable, far-too-close distance, though she makes it clear to show the severe annoyance in her eyes at this intrusion. Shaking her head, she parted away and decided to reply to his words.

"My, aren't we jumping to conclusions today? First of all, what makes you believe that I inherited 'anything' from you, even if we assume that you are in fact my biological father?" Caren asked coldly, raising her arms as though to express her thoughts."While I cannot completely deny your words, perhaps the reason why I feel this is due to my own bitterness at the world for my fate. Sadism as a result of experience, rather than as a result of... for example, a unique mental disorder from birth."

While she's speaking, she walks past him and makes her way over to the alter, while a large glass-like crystal with various images projected on it, including Ryudou Temple, is floating above - in other words, the mysterious Holy Scripture Raviel. The mechanism with which she can direct the flow of the Holy Grail War unlike any prior overseer.

"The difference between the two is that, obviously, one is a human still within the boundaries of empathy and reason, whereas the other is a natural demon merely in the guise of a human. It would do you well to remember that, Kotomine Kirei."

With her back turned, Caren resumes talking. "So then, what I want... If you truly wish to hear an answer from me, then I don't think it really matters to give 'what I want' a tangible form. If there is something I want, then I will try to have it so long as it is within the boundaries of my power, and likewise, if there is something I don't want, then I will try to ignore or avoid it under most circumstances. There's no point thinking about it, because to do so would be to find out whether or not I'm actually the 'me' I think I am."

Then, all of a sudden, the red cloth shoots out from near Kirei's feet and completely wraps around his body all the way up to his neck, binding him on the spot and dampening all efforts to break free, such is the power of the Holy Shroud of Magdelene.

"Now then, a question from me to you, Overseer of the Fifth War. Truth be told, I was planning on meeting each team anyway, so this saves me the inconvenience of saving you for last..."

Now that he's bound, she steps back down from the alter and walks up to him with a curious look, if one laced with bitterness and maliciousness.

"Kotomine Kirei... why are you fighting?" Caren asks. "Avenger is no longer in this world. Surely you must know that the Holy Grail this time, while certainly inferior to the last, is free of the presence of All The Evils Of The World. So, I cannot comprehend why you summoned Caster and chose to participate. Some insight into this matter would be appreciated."

She gave Caren a firm hand shake as she continued to listen to her. Everything about Elizabeth's world was changin, in a single day, she managed o loose everything she cared about and more. With nothing left but slim chance for her redemption...To show how strong her and Ashikaga really was...When it came down to it. That was all hat mattered to her now. What compelled her to live in that moment...To accept the way things are now and rebound.

She closed her eyes as she felt the woman transferred her a command seal, As she bit her lip at first at the sharp feelings of pain. As they continued she let out a l loud, shrill scream. As she then staggered to keep herself up from the sheer amount of pain being delivers to her hand. Making her hand tremble incredibly as she squeezed Carens hand hard. And then gasped for air as she pulled away. Shaking herself ff as she looked down at her hand, which now was engraved into her hand. Her hand still trembling softly as she brought it back into control, and her breaths returned to normal.

Her ears were still ringing a word still dazed and strange to her. The word "Minor" In Caren's voice echoed through her head as she bit down on her bottom lip quickly as she continued to talk. Then Elizabeth just stopped thinking for a moment and exhaled very deeply. "Very well. If you need me, I will be around the corner. A small apartment complex in the suburbs. I am sure you already know where it is." She grinned as she signaled berserker to follow her out of the church.
"There is no glory in this war...And very soon. I am sure many more lives will be lost. And many more people will be in pain because of this war...But that's fine. Because all that matters is the result. I see that now. In a game of life or death, morality is only a hindrance. You know Overseer...I find it kind of funny. Funny that a game claiming to be holly, surrounded by dedicated priests. Could possibly stand to allow a fight to the death game were you will probably sin more than you could ever dream of in your entire life. But, I suppose you do't care anything about that." She chuckled and finished off her idle conversation. Or was it bitter ranting? It could be either one.

She waved he Overseer off as she left. But then turned her head back to look at her before she left. Cracking a smile that split both ends of her face. "Also, that man you call a father. Kirei Kotomine.....Consider him dead already. A walking corpse. I will defeat him and brutally torture him for what he did to Ashikaga. Until he cries on the floor and begs for mercy. "The sweet cries for mercy....Sorrow, Regret...All beautiful sounds, that Kirei probably enjoyed sucking out of me in Ashikaga's final moments. He will be grinded to dust and nothing will be left...So don't worry about him. He will be gone sooner than you know."

She said walking out the door as she started to laugh hysterically. Walking down the stairs of the church as she headed off back into the woods with berserker. However, this wasn't a passionate laugh, given to her from her once zany persona.
No. This was a symbol of her newly found madness. A psychotic laugh that made it hard for her to breathe. Leaning back as she continued maniacally laugh. Tears of pain still swelled in her eyes as she did so.

Before continuing to walk back to her home. Looking up the sky and brushing her ragged hair to one side. Looking up at the berseker seal on her hand....Something she once tried to forge for Ashikaga's sake. There was no way however, that she would truly be able to grasp the true weight that command seals bear. This eal was stained in Ashikaga blood...And the blood of all berserkers who had come before them. Which that thought in itself enticed another chuckle. "Kotomine...I will not allow you to die from anyone other than me. You have my word." She continued to talk to herself as her wicked grin continued to engrave her face.

Everything about her posture was far more calm and collected now, despite the fact of everything that had happened. To her, all this was, was a sick joke played on her by god. And all others in the grail war. But, it it was a show they wanted. It was a show they were going to get....As she always told Ashikaga...She was a splendid performer~

Mira Nyanko still upset that we should have joined the battle earlier.

Then Lancer spoke with a very cold aura emitting from him, There was no need for us to join them, to me it was merely a fight between filthy creatures. While we watch them eliminate each other out there. Hmmm wait.... I'm only saying these things to hold back my war lust.... I must admit that I'm getting too excited...

Lancer then went out and stood in front of a giant tree, He then took out his lance
that was engulfed in flames and slashed the tree into half. Then he simply materialized into his spirit form ..

FGL, Fuyuki

Okabe's snoring was audible from the other end of the apartment. He appeared to be murmuring in his sleep.

Saber stood by the window once again, observing the celestial roof. It hadn't taken her long to realize what had happened in the conclusion of that powerful betrayal of Berserker--the overseer had intervened.
Instead of anger or frustration, she was taking breaths of tranquility. Berserker had escaped, though the Master was dead; Saber recalled the fear-stricken face of Ashikaga before she slashed the air in front of Berserker in order to release him. She tightened her fist.

The act of betrayal was against the very nature of a knight, much less the King of Knights. And it happened to be the very soul of Kotomine Kirei. Saber could not, however, deny the flawless execution of the priest's plan. She had to pry off her honor and pride, stand beside Kirei and turn her back on an unaware enemy for the sake of her Master only. She knew very well that the HGW granted a wish at the expense of 12 other lives, and despite her taking a number much higher than that, she could never step pass the revolting idea of it.
Okabe had to be kept safe, at all times. Achieving this near impossible feat required measures beyond those that Saber had owned before.

The memory of those red-eyes and golden hair returned to her, bringing back a prickling sensation along her neck. So much could have gone awry then. Her thoughts slowly drifted towards Archer... he had shown up and it had been more than visible that he had wanted to keep her and Okabe unhurt whilst saving Berserker and taking down the rest.

Why, she thought, why would he try to avoid harming her? What reason had he? Surely, he didn't remember... surely not...

A loud thud cut across her reverie and the next second heard a cry from Okabe.
The mad scientist was awake.

Okabe gave an inaudible yawn as he sat up. Trying to shake any off any cobwebs, he barely managed to get his brain back online before the previous night had crashed back into his consciousness all at once.

He jumped to his feet giving a cry of surprise, then began frantically shifting his eyes across the room - as if the enemy was about to strike without warning.

The only thing he saw was the young swords woman standing by the window, looking back at him with a puzzled expression. Her relaxed and peaceful presence seemed to calm the mad scientist down somewhat. He even felt composed enough to begin speaking to her.

"Y-You, the king girl." His words weren't yet sounding as fluent as he had hoped. "How did we get here? Weren't we just on the battlefield?"

"We were brought back by the overseer. Despite our best efforts, it seems the enemy has managed to escape before we could deliver the final blow. I apologize for my failure, master." She briefly closed her eyes, and gave a slight bow.

Okabe was taken aback by the sudden apology. He enjoyed being treated as a person of authority, but this situation was different - he did not feel as though he had any authority over her. Being treated this way by someone who has already shown herself to be more capable than he ever could be put him in a false position.

He made a small exclamation of nervousness mixed with embarrassment, before straightening himself and giving one of his many mad scientist laughs.

"Do not not fret, my skilled knight. The enemy may have escaped our clutches this time, but they shall think twice before they even consider crossing us again!"

He began to get the uneasy feeling that she wasn't buying his words any more than he was, so he quickly resorted to something he knew he could rely on to ease the tension. "So, are you feeling hungry?"

New master of berseker: Elizabeth Reed
Location: Suburb apartment complex.

She sighed as she sat down on the couch. A few springs cracked and sounded like they were about to pout out as she sunk into the couch and exhaled. berseker standing behind her as Berseker awkwardly paused there. "Eliza-Master.." Elizabeth grinned as she pulled her head back to look up at the ceiling . Narrowing her eyes as she continued to go deep in thought. "We need allies. As it stands, I feel like anyone in that ambush is obviously out of the question...Which leaves assassin, rider or lancer....Perhaps maybe lancer?" She groaned as she started to think really hard. Putting her hands n the dies of her head and rubbing her hair really hard. But we don't even know where anyone is! Gah. Berserker we are in quite the pickle aren't we? I understand our situation. However, I need to give Ashikaga a proper funeral. I might be broke, but I got a few ideas." She pointed to the chair, that was close by. The chair that Ashikaga would normally sit in. "Berseker, do me a favor and carry that chair will ya? I have to still solve some personal conflicts to have a clear conscious in the rest of this war. Ashikaga would prefer it that way. Right berserker?" Berserker nodded and then wen over to pick up the chair. "Understood...However are you sure it is safe." Elizabeth shook her head. "That doesn't matter. Even if we were attacked. I would never allow Ashikaga's grave to be defiled. This is too important. I will never be able to live it down if a good man like him would die and be forgotten from everyone's minds without paying our respects. Even if we do not have the body..."

"Kotomine will still remain our primary target. Even if his servant is killed off. We still hunt him down and execute him. There is no room for mercy for the likes of him... Come on berserker. Nothing will convince me that this is not a good idea."

They had left and walked for a while now. Elizabeth held a single long, wooden plank in her hand. Berseker behind her carrying the large chair. Elizabeth was just idly chatting with Berseker, talking about small things. And the grail war. Mainly telling stories about Ashikaga past, and there tales together. Until they had finally ventured out into the fields along the outskirts of the town. Into a large field of tall grass. A cold win blew in the breeze, as the soft sounds of the rustling grass were the only sounds that could be heard. She exhaled silently and closed her eyes. Taking in the scenery as she began to explain her reasoning for choosing this spot.

"You see, this is where I trained Ashikaga for many years of our lives. Knowing that it is the end of our training. I know this was where he wanted to train earlier yesterday. But I declined. I have been a terrible master in every way to him. I didn't deserve his kindness." She said as she clenched her fists tightly. "But I will not let Ashikaga's sacrifice go in vein." She said as she told berseker to place the chair down in front of her. And then she put the wooden plank over and shoved it down straight into the chair. Then opened up her hand, as a smaller amount of neon green light came out of her hand as she summoned a very small dagger in her hand. Then very carefully, held the dagger to start carving into the plank. (I actually have no idea what year this is in. Or if it was just basically modern time, so I can change it if need be.) Ashikaga Higurashi. 1980-2015. Apprentice, mage, hard worker, good man, and husband. As she wrote these things she never said a word.

Once she finished she backed up and looked at the work of her and berseker. She gave a warm grin at the sight of it. Sure, it was far from a tomb stone. But there was no way in hell they would be able to afford it. And Ashikaga didn't really have too much valuables left...That chair was his best friend most days. Elizabeth chuckled. "Well berseker....This is it." She paused...and berserker did not respond. This silence was kept for a long time. Maybe 10 minutes, as the soft sounds of the grass brushing in the wind could only be heard. While they said nothing, the expressions on there face spoke more than enough for their feelings. Berserker turned to Elizabeth and started. "Um...I am turly sorry master, but.."

Elizabeth nodded with a grin, as if all of a sudden she was starting to feel a bit better about herself. "Yes, lets get going. I would say I am pretty hungry right about now. How about you Berseker? Poor thing, you haven't eaten in ages. Perhaps we should get you something for home to. I know a great sandwich place in town! You will love it! We can talk more about our plans for the future there two...After all. Our Grail war has only truly just begun." She cracked a grin as she told him to go into spirit form once more. As they started to walk back towards the city. Placing a picture, under the used, chair of Ashikaga. The picture, was of Ashikaga, and standing next to him was a beautiful brunette women who was pregnant to his right. Then to the left, was a snickering Elizabeth, leaning over a little bit as if she was holding back a chuckle. Holding up bunny ears behind Ashikaga's head. "Good by old friend..." She whispered before she walked off. Continuing as she started up more idle conversation with berseker as she slowly left the make shift grave behind.

Kirei thought for a moment, but it was obvious that there was no escaping the current situation.
"You want to know why I'm fighting? I think you overestimate my purpose. What makes you think I'm fighting for the Holy Grail at all?"
"Don't lie. It's the only reason you would be in this war."
"You are mistaken." Kirei began to regain his smile as he answered. "I'm just drawn to the same desperate cries as you are. If there are none, I go out and produce them. The Holy Grail War serves as an opportunity to have my soul sing with delight. No more reason than that is needed."
"That's all?!" Caren's voice shifted to a one of contempt.
"Spare me the indignation, you indulge in the same thing I do. Or am I supposed to believe that I needed to be tied up like this just for you to ask a single question? Do you really think this was the only way I'd answer you? No, this is an act of control for you. Just as I go out of my way to control a person's soul, you enjoy enforcing your own sense of control over me right now."

"And just as how you can't be satisfied by only restraining me right now, I cannot be satisfied from a single source such as Avenger." Kirei continued. "That is why I am in this war."
"You're right about one thing." Caren's eyes narrowed and a smile broke out on her face. "I can't be happy with just you being restrained. I may have to kill you right now, just to make sure my mind is at peace. I think just that one act will be enough to satisfy me for a long time."
"By all means." Kirei smiled. "You have no idea how fitting it would be for you to kill me. Before you do, I would hope you could answer me a single question. You see, I'm not sure what force it was that brought me here, but I do wonder if it brings master and servant to the same place. I should know the answer to this already, but you see, Caster is such a deceptive servant I can never be sure. She might even be watching us right now, and not have the decency to make her presence known. If she was, I don't think she'd approve of me being tied up like this when I only wanted to talk."

As we were on the verge of killing that abominable filth, the Overseer had the audacity to intervene and the plot which that entertaining priest had assembled together was foiled in an instant. The King of Knights. The False Priest. The Faker. The Witch of Betrayal. The Raging Destroyer. I remember them all. The question now, is whether or not I shall continue my pursuit of those which I had desired. Truly, each war is unique.

My pretender of a master still continues to amuse me. He is no emperor by any means, but yet he hasn't ceased in demonstrating his understanding of the ways of a ruler. A king would not permit an act such as that committed by the Overseer to occur without retribution, and that is something the Emperor of Shrimps understands as well. It would appear that he had a past association with that False Priest, and that may explain why my master was so unexpectedly keen on the ways of Yuetsu.

And speaking of that False Priest, I wouldn't have thought the Overseer to have originated from his very seed! So, that flower from long ago has blossomed into such an elegant and dangerous being. There is no doubt that she is her father's daughter. Excellent.

I relay every part of the conversation between the False Priest and his daughter to the Emperor of Shrimps.

"King of Heroes. Let us partake in this communion." His thoughts are parallel with mines.

With my master waiting outside, I reveal my presence within the dark church. Certainly they must have been aware that they were being observed, but it mattered not to them.

"Greetings once again, Kirei. Your spawn has indeed inherited your ways of Yuetsu. Such a lovely and delicate flower is she not?" I laugh as I provide commentary on the yuetsu that I had been watching with much amusement.

Servant: Archer

Roof of Tohsaka residence. Around 3 AM.

((Obligatory background music))

Few hours have passed since Shirou left to bed, and even more since that forced withdrawal from Einzbern castle performed by the overseer of the church. Having heard from Shirou about all Servants they witnessed, Archer retreated back on the roof to both keep watch and to think about all the information.
'So, he does know majority of Servants participating. An advantage not many may have', Archer thinks as his mind wanders back at the confrontation he witnessed several hours earlier. That brutal pounding of Berserker by 3 Servants. The man, supposedly Berserker's Master, being killed almost instantly by the priest named Kotomine Kirei. That look on Emiya Shirou when he wanted to jump in the fray to help, yet remained in place...

'Damn, why am I thinking about that', Archer curses as he finds himself thinking about his Master. Yet, he cannot help as his minds returns back to the conversation moments before he unleashed torrent of arrows; moment without the whole world froze: "Going in right now would be suicide. I cannot save everyone."

'Why?', Archer cannot help but ask. The Champion of Justice should save everyone, yet...
"I cannot save everyone." That line flashes once again in his mind, leaving him perplexed and confused.
"What answer did he gain?", Archer mutters. "What path did that man choose?"
Yet, the red knight cannot answer those questions.

Sighing in annoyance as he forcibly banishes those thoughts, Archer thinks back at the servants he met at the castle.
Herakles, Hero of Greece.
Arturia, King of Knights.
Medea, Princess of Colchis.
And Gilgamesh, King of Heroes.
"Honestly, they're all monsters", Archer mutters as he recalls their Noble Phantasms. If they're to win this Holy Grail War, he'll need to eliminate all of them. He can plan how to approach each, but he doesn't know the remaining 3 servants. "So troublesome..."

However, there was one more Servant encounter before that. Back in Shinto, in front of the store that sold CRTs. He was listening to the women gathered there and tried to ignore insane ramblings of Saber's current Master so he didn't pay proper attention to the surroundings, but now when he thinks...
'Weren't there two more Servants back then?', he asks himself. 'There I met Rider and Saber... at castle were Berserker, Caster and Gilgamesh... that makes 5 known Servants out of 8. Good grief", he sighs.

'Hrmph. Aside from Assassin, who might be hiding anywhere - if he's summoned at all - there is one more Servant I don't know absolutely anything about. Archer gets up and smirks. 'Maybe I could do something on my own...', he thinks and, still hidden in spirit form as he leaps away, decides to scout Fuyuki.

*Archer is scouting Fuyuki right now. Safe zone left. Duration: unknown*

[i]((Out of character note: ZeroDragon and blacknight posted their actions about that encounter after encounter has been concluded. Considering that Servants can detect each other unless one has Presence Concealment, usually Assassin class skill, I added that Archer detected Lancer and Gilgamesh were there but didn't see them.))

Past:

"Oh? So you'll betray your own potential Master? Ah, what a waste, to think I went through the trouble of wasting one Command Seal on her...if I knew it was going to be this way, then!"

Before Caren had even finished, she held her hand out to Berserker and begun muttering words underneath her breath. A red glow began to emit between, signifying the forging of a contract that ought to be illegal by all means.

Then, it was done. With the two Command Seals she had remaining, Berserker had now been designated as her new Servant.

With a wide grin, she said "Now, I won't have much use for you yet, so stay in spirit form and hide in the back. When I require need for you, I will call upon you. Truly, thank you for accepting my oh so gracious offer... Heracles."

~ ~ ~

Present:

Caren narrows her eyes. "Caster? Ah, it must be enjoyable for you to believe that you're in control, aren't you? Unfortunately, this is my territory, and thus I can tell whether any Servant is in the vacancy or not. I will not be taken off-guard. Caster would be somewhat troublesome, but not too much of a-"

But then, all of a sudden, the priestess freezes as another presence approaches and enters the Church... Of course, it was only natural that he would come. As the King of Heroes, if he was forced to do something he did not wish, he would definitely come to receive penance. Such is the nature of Gilgamesh.

In distaste at all these troublesome occurrences happening one after another, Caren promptly released her Holy Shroud of Magdelene, thrusting Kirei over to the entrance of the church with great strength and velocity so that he'd hit the doors violently.

Meanwhile, the Holy Scripture Raviel at the back continued to reflect everyone's statuses, and she calmly began to walk back towards it.

"Tch. And what brings you here?" There is no point in assigning that man a class, for he has none - this much she understands. "It's rather bothersome that I have to deal with this too, but... Never mind. I would've paid you two a visit as well."

With a shrug, as soon as she was standing right next to Raviel, she turned to look around at the golden man.

"I may as well ask you the same thing as I did this man, King of Heroes. This is a question for both you and that...shrimp-obsessed Master of yours - why do you fight? For the Holy Grail? Destruction of the world's majority is still a tangible goal of this one, but it seems inconceivable at this point. Not to mention, I simply cannot comprehend how you two are getting along with each other...so to put it simply, why are you two fighting together? Do allow me the pleasure of an answer."

Servant: Archer

Tohsaka residence. Around 2 AM.

Right when Archer prepares to leap away, he senses a Servant approaching and looks at that direction.
"Oh? It seems we have a guest", he mutters for himself as he spots a tall purple-haired woman clad in black - servant Rider, who he met this afternoon - approaching on the motorcycle. 'I wonder what's she doing here...', he thinks and materializes in standing position on the roof

As Rider stops on the edge of the boundary field, unable to progress further, and greets Archer, he nimbly jumps down and approaches her.
"You must be really desperate for information if you come to the enemy Master's base to ask such question", he says to her mockingly.
'Actually, I could use this... if I can get her killed by giving her info which will lead her to other Servants, it would ease my work', a thought pops into Archer's head.

After that, the two of them converse; Archer describes the battle and who was responsible for forcing everyone back to the home while hiding attacks and identities of other Servants; however, he did mention that Caster is often near Ryuudou Temple. 'Emiya Shirou might be wrong with his conclusion, but it doesn't matter', Archer thinks. He also learns that Rider sensed a Servant leaving the residence while she was scouting the city with her motorcycle.
'I see. So that was that sound and signal I noticed back then...', he grits his teeth.

Location: Shinto, Fuyuki Church

The Priestess thrusts her father with a force unfitting of her appearance. Within such a delicate flower resides a suppressed storm that shall not grant mercy should its wrath be released. Beneath that pious exterior lies a sadistic demon that hungers for yuetsu, but yet she represses it. She may prove to be as entertaining as the False Priest, and therefore I shall grant her the answers she seeks from me.

"Destruction of the world you say? That remains to be seen. This world is contemptible and disgusting. The filth scurry about their daily lives far too comfortably in this era. What worth is there in ruling mongrels who themselves provide no worth? However, everything upon this world belongs to me and for me to do to them as I please, regardless of their value. As long as there remains yuetsu to be had, I shall not be so rash as to wish for its immediate destruction, at least not at this time."

She listens intently as should all to whom the King of Heroes speaks to should. I'm curious as to what is occurring through her mind as I deliver my answers, but I continue on.

"I would dare give credit to my master actually, for I have acknowledged him as a partner in this war. I had thought that he was simply another mongrel, one that I would have in normal cases executed for such a disgusting existence. However, he is well-versed in the ways of Yuetsu and understands the ways of a King. He provides me with much amusement, akin to a loyal servant who is too magnificent to be disposed of.

But what of yourself, Priestess? I do not believe that you have quite answered your father's question. What is it that you are seeking? Why do you attempt to repress the truth within you, or perhaps am I mistaken?"

Kirei picked himself off the ground, and hastily dusted himself off.
"I apologize for not being able to greet a man of your prestige more appropriately, Gilgamesh. As you can see, there were a few complicating factors that prevented me from doing so."
Kirei turned to the man dressed in gold plated armor and bowed as a sign of respect.
"I'm not sure what interest you have in my daughter, King of Heroes; I had always assumed you were after a specific servant. If you are just interested in her as entertainment value, then I must ask you to leave."
Kirei turned to Caren's surprised expression grinning. "Don't look so dumbfounded, Caren. I've long known that violence expressed from you towards me means something different than if you were to express the same violence towards this man."
Kirei returned his stare to the man in gold.
"At the same time, you are quite right to say that Caren has not answered my question, and has opted instead to deflect and ignore the true meaning of what I was asking. Since we both seek our own forms of pleasure, Gilgamesh, I see no mystery in the question she has put to us. We merely seek a forms of entertainment, and use different methods to achieve them."
Kirei's eyes narrowed, and focused on the King of Heroes more intensely.
"What I'm more interested in, is why you have come here. It's one thing to observe for entertainment, it's another to inject yourself into the proceedings. Just what are you hoping will result of this little meeting of ours, Gilgamesh? Please answer honestly, I am hopeful that this situation need not turn violent."
I am the Priest of my church
Yuetsu is my body, and wine is my blood

Yet, my question will never be answered

Elizabeth sighed as she looked down at her command seal. Taking control of berseker...How ever, berseker had betrayed her....It made her chuckle, a broken and sad chuckle. In a chance to redeem herself. Not even berseker could put his faith in her. Perhaps she was truly meant not to be a master....No. She couldn't. for Ashikaga's wishes. She walked into the city. By now. She had completely been absorbed in her grief. Her eyes narrowed and dulled with a painful empty stare. She planned to summon assassin however, she had now way she possibly summon assassin as it stood. Her best option was seeming to go int hiding, and completely changing her whole look. She bit her bottom lip. "And I am sure the geas is still on me. What a dreadful situation...It will take a lot to get out of this mess." She exhaled deeply as she continued to wonder off thinking to herself.

Deep into thought as she wandered, happening to pass by the area. A soft wind blew by her as her light green hair blew in the wind, all to her right side, and the collar of her shirt brushed and ruffled slightly.

Tohsaka residence. Night.

Eventually, Rider leaves and Archer sighs in annoyance: 'What a waste of time. I'm really becoming soft...' Dematerializing, he leaps into the city and starts scouting Fuyuki.

Fuyuki Central Park. Around 3 AM.

As he goes around and comes to Fuyuki Central Park, he spots the interesting figure standing there.
"Well, well... who do we have here...", he mutters with a smirk as one glance is more than enough to recognize the figure was a Servant. One that he didn't meet earlier, in fact. Lancer... or Assassin.

Dematerializing, a bow appears in Archer's hand as he switches to the attack mode. 'Might as well poke the lion. Maybe I'll learn something about him', he thinks as he prepares volley of arrows and launches it at Karna and watches how will Karna react to that.

"Well well.... seems like I have a rude visitor here.. and it seems like he wont be leaving away soon ... arrows huh? There could only be one servant who uses these.."

"Fancy weapon you have there, Lancer", Archer calls out to him, smirking, as he steps forward weaponless. "Honestly, I expected you to deflect that half-assed attack of mine, but to see you actually burned them was surprising. Your Master might get angry, don't you think?", he finishes with a tease, trying to tip Karna off a little.

I go into the Church after Gilgamesh, and see some one that i've wanted too meet for a long while.
My Teacher. The one who teached me the ways of Yuetsu. Kotomine Kirei.
Even tough i saw him during the fight against Berserker, i didn't have the Chance to talk with him.
And did i hear that right?
That Mongrel of a Priestess is his Daughter?
Well,
she might not be so Mongrel-ish, after all.

''What I'm more interested in, is why you have come here. It's one thing to observe for entertainment, it's another to inject yourself into the proceedings. Just what are you hoping will result of this little meeting of ours, Gilgamesh? Please answer honestly, I am hopeful that this situation need not turn violent.'' i hear the Priest asking Gilgamesh.

''Let me answer that Question, Kotomine-sensei'' for a second, i swear i saw a shocked and joyed Kotomine, but that face disappeared so fast that i tought it was my imagination. His Daughter is still shocked tough, and Gilgamesh looks in interest.

''Our lovely Overseer interrupted an execution done by the King and an Emperor.
Such an action cannot be left without retribution. Altough, because she is my Teacher's daughter, i will let het talk and explain why she did this.''

I feel like i forgot something...
hmmm...
ah!
''Oh, please forgive my manners, i did forget to introduce myself.
I am Shrimpy, Emperor of the Shrimps, and the owner of all the things in the Waters, and the one who...''
A Smirk adornes my face
''...replaced you during your childhood.
May i ask the name of the lovely flower i replaced?''

Now why would you think that?", he responds with an innocent voice as he can muster. "Usually, those kind of things are left for our useless Masters, don't you agree? Well, even if I'm plotting anything...", Archer suddenly gazes at Karna with narrowed eyes, "it's far less interesting compared to what happened few hours earlier, don't you think?"

Upon sensing Karna's killing intent,

Archer's lips move as he mutters something silently and enters fighting posture, his hands looking like they're grasping something.

Archer listens to Karna's response, thinking: 'What is he talking about...?'

However, he doesn't have enough time to think more about it, as that's the moment Lancer chooses to attack. As Lancer lunges forward with his spear, two blades suddenly appear in Archer's hands with which he barely manage to deflect fire-infused spear; blazing flames almost singe his hand as Archer manages to redirect trajectory of the spear.

'So fast...!', he then thinks as he deliberately leaves openings for Lancer to strike at, ready to defend and waiting for opportunity to strike forward... if such one presents itself.

(Possible) Master of assassin: Elizabeth Reed
Location: Suburb apartments, about 3 AM

When she had finally made her way back to her home, she exhaled deeply and dragged her head up to look at the small, ruined looking building. She gave it a warm grin. This place was the only real place she could keep her sanity any more at this point. Elizabeth wondered how she was ever going to win at this point. Without knowing how to summon assassin, or the locations of any masters or servants. With the exception of Gilgamesh, but that was a no go.

But then she cocked her head to the side and raised her eye brow with a shock look on her face. And slowly turned her head in disbelief as she walked towards her door to see a man there. The man turned around leaving a note, and when he saw her approach him. He gave her a hard stern look and shook his head. "Elizabeth? What the hell are you doing here? Do you got that rent payment I asked for a month ago?" Elizabeth hung her head low, and started to scratch her for head for moment. hen sliding her hand down to her eyes and gently rubbed them, letting out a tired groan.

"Look, I promise I ill get you that payment in the next week alright? Just hold it off until then..." The man shook his head. "No, no. You know what? The chair is gone too, and most of the furniture is wrecked up pretty bad. I am kicking you out damn it Liz. Ashikaga put me up with that same bullshit, and he couldn't pull through with money. So you should leave. Tell stupid fucking boy friend he can leave too." Elizabeth started to walk away, then flinched when the collector said Ashikaga was stupid. She cracked a wide grin as she turned around. Quickly summoning a small dagger in her hand. "How about you tell him that?" She asked as she was about to throw the dagger straight into his head. As the man started to back up with a look of paralyzing fear on his face. But then she stopped herself mid throwing the dagger. And allow it to dissolve in her hands.

Then stuck her hands in her pockets and turned to leave her old apartment. "By the way, Ashikaga is dead." She called out to him without turning to see his reaction. Rubbing her eyes again as she thought about where she was going to sleep. And how she could get a servant. How she could get allies. She was sure after the events of their betrayal, and then when people found out berseker also betrayed her. They might think she is too weak for a partner..She couldn't allow that to happen. She had to prove her strength..Or maybe if she simply didn't try to get any sort of rep at all, and wait for the right moment to strike. It could put her ahead of the game....She was to tired to weigh all of her options.

She was probably going to sleep at a park bench or something. She thought about it and then it sounded like a good idea. God forbid, she would have to rely on the overseers church to get sleep. That was the last thing she wanted. She had wandered for quite a bit of time until she finally stumbled upon the Fuyuki central park. Where she very quickly realized that this was probably the worst place she could probably choose to sleep. Cocking her head to the side as she went over to find a nice patch of greenery to jump into. As she observed the fight that started to unfold. Her eyes filled with excitement, but fear at the same time. But then the question was, "Should I, or should I not intervene? It would be a great time to finally make a move and establish a foot hold. However, she didn't even know who she would want to help.

Thinking about it, quickly made her exhausted and tired as she simply narrowed her eyes and drooped down a little bit. She decided she was going to observe unless she was suddenly attacked herself. Then she would take action.

Archer grits his teeth, realizing that he took a little too big bite. As Lancer unleashes a flurry of the attacks on Archer, Archer barely manages to block. His twin swords were shattered many times, giving up against Lancer's furious attack, but each time sword shatters, a new one immediately replaces it.

"That speed and flaming spear...", Archer mutters loud enough for Lancer to hear him as he analyzes Lancer's attack pattern.
'If this continues, I'll lose', Archer thinks as he continues the defense... defense successful only by guiding Lancer's attacks unfollowable by human eyes to strike the places Archer wants by leaving an openings. His red coat has almost caught fire on few places when Lancer's spear made shallow cuts on Archer's armor, and Archer dematerializes it, remaining only in his black body armor.

Wordlessly, with the expression of annoyance and tiredness, he continues to put his best into the defense, waiting for opening in between Lancer's attack to retreat.
