Another happy ending, and this one was even a bit funny. If the twins ever do reunite the age gap might need some getting used to tho.

Well, it's cool to know how Ginko and mushi masters get their letters and jobs. Beautiful episode.

Mushishi is a work that I have been admiring a lot in each episode, but that doesn't mean I can't help but criticize it. This was the worst episode of the entire anime, nothing captivated me or changed anything in my life, I didn't feel any empathy for the story presented even with the happy ending. For me, a completely indifferent episode. The only minimally good moments were involving Ginko, who almost didn't appear in the chapter.

I thought this was going to be another sad story but in the end it looks like Ito was found and returned back to the village.

This was a strange but cool episode. Not a lot of screen time was given to Ginko and instead we got the story of the two sisters. Glad that she got back! The cocoon world is really interesting and reminds me of dreams that I have had, endless passageways. And now we know how Ginko gets his messages.

Well, Aya got her sister back in the end. A happy ending. However, I guess there's now a 5 year age gap between them.

I see I called this one of my fav episodes for a good reason.

This piece of lore is barely mentioned or shown throughout the series, but I'm glad they did this. Using mushis like emails lol...that's cute.
The moment she peeks beneath the sheet, I was like oh nooo, shit no.....
My dumb roommate who likes watching shitty shounen made this weird comment while watching this (he does not know this show): "Oh I see this is a commentary on child abductions, cuz there's chains in the caves and she disappeared" Like facepalm dude...wtf. Way to ruin the moment. I'm glad I'm moving out of his place soon.

I love how ending was not sad though...the sister came out of a cacoon in a far away village. That scene was soo freaky. I love this episode.

Kind of another episode about letting go and about loss. AS someone who loves his brother too much, I know this pain. It hit me hard. I don't think I could have let go if I lost my brother like that.

A+Tier Mushishi episode.

It was interesting getting some lore on something simple like how Mushi-shi send messages, and of course it wasn't going to be an easy thing.
