| That bridge seen was a whole lot better in this series than the original for some reason.. Possibly because we got to see all the events leading up to it this time and I'm pretty sure they added a line or two this time. |

| I'm speechless. Utterly speechless. The entire time I've been watching Raildex I always wanted it to be like this, and finally it is. It's finally living up to the great potential of this story. This episode deserves a 99 out of 5. |

| I finished season 1 like 2 days ago and then ended up marathoning all 14 currently aired episodes for this season. And I have to say, this season is MILES, MILES better than season 1. Can't wait to see that fight next episode, so disappointed that I now have to finish this series on a weekly basis. |

| Wow! Everything was done really well! The emotional impact was waaaaay greater than the way Index was done! This has gone way past my expectations! Definitely my favorite series of the year! Actually made me tear up ;-; These feels man! |
| This was done so much better than the Index version, I can barely believe it. The soundtrack and the voice acting were incredible, not to mention the animation... even the smaller details like the cat in the last scene, the way it moves so smoothly (almost looks like CG, not sure). Well, this episode raised this series up another notch for me, and it was already very high to begin with. Can't wait to see the fight next week. |
| Crap, it looks like I should have watched Index before Railgun after all. While everyone else here seems already emotionally attached to "the bridge encounter" because it was probaby in Index makes me pretty envious. To me, who only watched the Railgun anime in the Index series, in this episode, I couldn't shake off the absolute deus-ex machina that is Touma in this anime. The encounter to me seems really cliche (Frequent in shows with a action heroine and loyal hero) and even random because Touma hardly ever makes appearances except for cameos in Railgun. Ughh... I think I just ruined the entire series for myself... |

I think I just ruined the entire series for myself... Don't worry about it too much. Index actually extends beyond what is depicted in Railgun, so in a certain sense it works both ways. You just experience things from Touma's perspective in Index, so you will have a different set of moments that'll make you go "oh yeah, I already saw that part in Railgun." You'll learn more about his backstory and whatnot. I remember in Index the Mikoto parts often felt random like what you are describing Touma's moments in Railgun. Once you watch the other one you get more of the background for why they are there and what happened to them before/after and the puzzle fits together nicely. |
