| "Sorry." He rolled over and off of her so she could get up. He took a moment to get up himself but whe he did he simply brushed himself off and took a moment to gather his thoughts. |

| "You seem distracted. Are you ok?" Chi asked dusting herself off. "You're clothes are really big. Even when Star-chan cut the sleeves my hands still are eaten up by the sleeves!" She said giggling. |
| "Yea. I'm fine I just....get real nervous around girls my age is all. I've never done anything with a girl so its new to me. Hehe. Its pathetic but true." He swallowed hard. "Don't get me wrong. I liked it when you grabbed my hand or when yournice to me. I just get really nervous is all." He really was trying not to make a fool of himself but with little luck. |

| "Hey it's ok!! I haven't seen younger people. I'm the youngest in the Deathwatch and not used to people my age too. But it's ok to be nervous. And plus someone has to be nice when there are so little people that are. Now come one on you promised I can get a bath." She said smiling. |
| "Alright then. Just go down to the morgue and heat up the water. I need to get to the roof so I can clean the clothes and get my guns. Just follow the signs." He smiled. He was happy that he wasn't the only one who was nervous. "Oh andiits seems to me that you know my name but I ve yet to get yours. Lets make thing formal.*extends hand* my name is Thomas Forster, scavenger and overall a lonely survivalist. And you?" |

| Chi bowed and smiled. "I'm Chi. Born into this world. Rank 4 in the Deathwatch. Pleasure to meet you formally. And I need to thank you for saving me feom the crazy scientist." She said hugging him. "I'll be in the morgue if you need me!" She said running down the hall in the overly large clothes. Tripping every once in a while. |
| He stood there stunned, speechless and as red as a tomato. He was as happy as could be but didn't know how to react. So he simply walked the front door of the hospital, walked out picked up his shotgun, Chi's knives, and let out a loud "YYYEEEEHHAAAAAAAAAA" |

| It didn't take long for Thomas to go ape shit as happy as he could be. He finally wasn't going to be alone and he was friends with a cut girl. He didn't shot his gun but he did use it like a club to bash the undeads head. Pretty soon he was covered in blood. He was huffing but wasn't tired. He look at himself and was happy with his work. All the undead where dead and he was content. He walked to the rope and climed up to the roof where he undressed and threw the clothes into a jarry riged washing machine and started a gas powered motter. |

| Chi started washing her body and soon was clean. She got out and had a sheet wrapped around her. She started walking around looking for Thomas. Her barefeet left a trail in a the dirt. "Thomas? Thomas?" She called out. |
| He threw on a robe and climed down again. He heard Chi call his name. He when to her quickly. She was in a sheet and he qturned deep red. He covered his eyes and said "What do you need? I take it your done with the bath." |

| "Yeah. I just wanted to hand you back you clothes." She said holding out her arm. "Thanks for the clothes again. So what were you doing on the roof?" |
| "getting the clothes clean. You might want to keep those clothes on it will be about an hour till there clean and another hour for them to be dried. Go onto the roof and gat you some food. You must be hungry. I'm going to go and clean the blood and grime off of me. Ok?" |

| "Ok!!" Chi said running to the stairs. "Meet me up there." She said. She ran up the stairs and put on his clothes again. |
| "Umm sorry but the door is welded shut. You'll have you climb up the line at the front of the hospital wall." He knew that she might see it as stupid but it was a solid defense against the undead reaching him |

| She sighed and scaled the side of the building without a rope. She poked her head down. "You coming up soon?" |
| "yea I am. Can you do me a favor?" He asked. |

| "Yeah sure what do you need?" She asked looking down. "Do you need help up or something?" She called out innocently. |
| He looked up and said "no I don't need help up. Watch the clothes and when the washing machine buzzes put them in the dryer and push the button. Also can you wipe off the gorefrom my shotgun stock. Oh and the can on the cot is spam so eat that alright." With that he walks into the hospital And goes to the morgue. He soon gets into the tube and starts his bath. |

| 'Spam? What the heck is that?' She thought lifting up the can. "Hey Thomas!" She yelled out. "What's spam?" She shrugged and put it down and walked over to the shot gun. She took out a dirty cloth and wiped down the gun. She heard a beep and and walked over to the machine. She took out the wet clothes and put them in the dryer. She stared at the 3 buttons. "Which button do I press?!?" She called out again to Thomas. |
| He took his time washing up. As he finished he walked over and dried himself off with a towel. He heard his name being called and wrapped it around his was. He wakes out of the hospital and looked up. "What did ya say Chi?" |

| "Which of the three buttons is the one that starts it?" She said leaning over the roof. "Oh! And I cleaned your gun for you." |
| "Middle button and thanks. Oh and can you help me up?" He walked over to the rope and started to climb while holding the towel with one hand. |

| "Yea!" She pressed the button and started to pull up the rope. She pulled up half of the rope. "Almost there Tom. Is it ok if I call you that?" She asked landing on her butt when she lost her footing. |
| The sudden shock caused him to grab the rope with both hands. The towel fell of and he was now stark naked. "Umm Chi. Close your eyes when I get up there." |

| "Uhh Ok..." Chi said pulling up the last of the rope. She smacked her hands to cover her eyes. Her face was bright red. |
| He clawed his way onto the roof and looked at the beet red Chi. He couldn't say anything cause he looked just as red. "Ok just hold on and let me find something to where." He started to to look for something to where. He jokingly said "Don't peek Chi." He silently laughed to himself. |

| "What do you mean not to peak. I wouldn't invade your privacy. Are you almost done my hand is getting tired and my nose itches." She said trying not to move her hands. |
| He gave a slight chuckle. He grabbed a blanket and wore it like a toga. He walked over to her and said "Alright I'm as decent as I could be for now." Thomas looked at her and couldn't help but think she looked cute when embarrassed. |

| "Thank god!!!! My nose is so itchy!" She said scratching her nose. "What up with the toga?" She giggled poking his shoulder. She looked over to the dryer. "Do you know how long it takes for the clothes to dry? Not that your clothes aren't good! They are actually comfy." She said blushing and looking down. |
| At that moment he thought 'oh my god she so cute.' But he kept it contained and said while taking a statute like pose "What? Don't you think I look good like this?" |

| "That's not what I .. Oh I'm so sorry!!!!" She rushed out quickly hugging him. "It looks fine.. just not the ideal clothing for a war kind of.." She said retying the knot holding the toga together. |
| "hahaha. Alright then. It should take about 10 more minutes is all and keep the spares I can always get more from the dead or steal them from the living." He blushes slightly but looks around and sees the untouched can of spam. He points at it and say "you haven't eaten yet?" |

| "I don't know what it is." She said poking the can slightly. |
| He picks it up. "Its spam. Cand meat. Its ment to last a long time." He opens it and dispit being over 15 years old it still has a strong smell. He puts the meat on a plate and split it in half with and hands her half. "Eat up. It tastes better than it smells." He takes a bite. He really did miss this tast. |

| She took a tiny bite and her face light up. "This is so good!! I haven't had had anything like this before. I've only had fruit and power bars all my life. And maybe milk." She said taking another bite. "Hey Thomas-kun what are you going to do when I have to go back to base?" She asked laying down on the ground. |
| The brick known as reality hit him hard. "I don't know. I don't want to be alone anymore but from what I can tell your a member of the deathwatch group. I doubt they would find my prescience there very good." He took off his glasses and rubbed his face. He didn't want to be all alone. Not anymore. |

| "We are looking for new officers. Maybe you can come with me back to the base. Masaru-sama understands people that wan to join and he'll test you and if you pass you're in and then you won't have to ba all alone!" Chi said still laying in the ground. "I should probably get going before the sun goes down." She said noticing that the sunset was only a few hurs away. |
| He knew it he would be alone again. "Ill come but I don't think ill be able join so easily. I'm no good at anything except surviven. The only way of me even having a chance would be if I had those weapons." He started to pout. |

| "It's fine. Ash-nii will understand. And i'll convince Masaru-sama to let you stay because I want you stay. I don't like all the older people and it would be good for me to have someone my age." She said to him. She patted on the spot next to her. "Sit down. I promise that you will not have to be alone. Even Scavengers need to have a friend." She said looking up at him. |

| He put his glasses on and noded. He knew he couldn't argue. "Alright but there's something I need to get from my old home." |

| "Why would I betray you. Star I could care less about but you. Your my first friend I've had in a long time. I couldn't." He smiled at her. He was speaking the truth |

| "Good come on the sun's about to set. And Star are you going to go back to base?" She asked standing. |
| "I need to stop at my old home. Its a small house in the country about 17 miles from here. So tell me Chi. Are you afraid of the dark?" He knew that this would be difficult but he needed those items. He stood up walked to the dryer and tossed Chi her cloths. |

| "No. I'm not allowed out after dark. Masaru-sama doesn't like it when I'm out ofter dark. Bad things always seem to happen." She said putting in her pants but leaving on his shirt. |
