| Dovahkiin: *walks them both back to Raven's room* |
| Lucas sits outside in the shade. He's slightly on edge and looks around. |
| yuki walks into the courtyard and sits under a tree |
| Lucas sees her as he scans the courtyard, but he made no move to say hello. |
| *sigh, stays quiet* |
| Lucas pulled out a book and started reading, still occasionally glancing around. |
| Lucas looked up, feeling like someone was there, even though he couldn't see her. He got up just as Josef arrived. 'Damn.' He thought. "Lucas?" Said Josef. "Uh...." |
| "Oh god seriously? You told him?" Lucas said. "Great, just great." "What, isn't that a good thing? Wouldn't you want to see me again?" Josef asked, confused. "These are...bad circumstances." "What because You're a vampire now, is that it?" "Not all of it." |
| "I was saying that it would have been better not to get him involved because being around me isn't safe." "Well in case you haven't noticed being around me isn't very safe either now." Josef shot back. "At least you don't have a pack of mangy dogs after you." "Mangy dogs. That's nice. I haven't seen you for two years and the first thing you do is insult me." Lucas sighed. "You know that's not what I meant." |
| "When someone goes missing you're supposed to go to the police, not gal-avant across the city looking for them!" "Well excuse me for being concerned about you." Josef replied. "There are better things you could have done instead of walking right into a trap." "And I was supposed to know it was a trap? Sorry, but I never had a sixth sense, especially when I was human." |

They didn't know where we lived, they couldn't have found him, they didn't know what he looked like, but when he came waltzing up asking about his missing brother, oh they knew then. | "Why didn't you do anything to let me know you were alive?" "I was being watched from the second I became a vampire. I would have brought home vampires with so little standards they'd knock me out and kill you all." "You could have tried." |
| "Seek out other factions when I'm practically shackled to the side of the most heartless bloodsucker on the continent? Like they would trust me at all. I wasn't even supposed to have been turned. Heather was supposed to kill me, dump my body in a garbage can where the police would find it then hightail it out of the country. But she didn't cause she 'loved' me and 'trusted' me and instead I was dragged along for a nightmare show." |
| "The only reason they gave me any leash was because they had started to trust me, and don't you even dare ask what it took to get that trust. After that I did manage to slip away but they're hard on my heels and I don't even know how long I can stay here." "You could have asked for help. I could have helped you." |
| "I'd say about 250. Give or take twenty." |
| "I can't have you getting involved." |
| "These guys are strong. Stronger than you, smarter, faster, more bloodthirsty...they'll tear both of you apart." |
| "This is between me and them. Not you." He looked at Josef. "Or you." "Well it isn't like they've found you yet, so we don't even HAVE to discuss this." |
| Lucas sighed as well. "Fine, fine, we can drop it." "Great." Said Josef. "Now let's get some lunch." He paused. "Or rather how about I get lunch and you two come with me anyway?" |
| "Yeah sure, we'll just pretend this is normal and go have lunch." Lucas replied. "Oh shut up and come on, would you?" "Yeah, yeah, fine." |
| "Not funny." Lucas replied flatly. Josef rolled his eyes. |
