Mushoku Tensei is like watching a train wreck. I am disturbed, but I'm so morbidly fascinated.

Luckily, we don't have the AMAZING shock value of a 3 year old child molesting an adult woman like in season 1. But damn are we upping the ante in season 2. Like damn Rudeus has erectile dysfunction. Like how he gets drunk and visits prostitutes. Damn his roommate is a 24/7 slut. Damn, Rudeus buys a slave. Damn, Rudeus kidnapped 2 beast girls and gropes their breasts. Damn, they pissed themselves.

If Mushoku Tensei wants to attract a female audience, I would personally focus more on the Fitz and Rudeus dynamic (yaoi is hot, that's a straight-up fact tbh). I would definitely introduce some femdom action. Like let's get Rudeus tied up and dominated by women. Let Rudeus get a taste of his own medicine lmao.

Ofc there are women, who enjoy MT. I am one of them.
The world building is amazing, the story starts with him as a baby and he has to start from 0 which lets us viewer learn slowly about the world just like he does.
And ofc with the mind of a way older person - bc of his previous life - he thinks differently than someone of his actual age (especially in the beginning of the anime), which is realistic. Even in anime without any ecchi - Erased for example - such moments of awkwardness happen.
Why would they put a woman off? It's just logical that a reincarnated soul with the memories of their former life thinks more lewd than some kid would.
So yeah personally I think MT is a masterpiece in the genre of Isekai - imo the best isekai I've ever watched - and the ecchiness is actually well executed just like everything else in the anime.

And on a sidenote:
Why do so many guys on MAL believe that there are not much female otakus?
Or that we mainly watch Shoujo/Yosei, BL/GL?
I will obviously only speak for myself, but I watch most genre and I also watch hentai. Imagine. So this entire topic feels honestly dumb, because why would we females not enjoy a good story, just because it is aimed at male audience? Shounen/Seinen anime are just as interesting to watch for a woman.

Last note: Redo of Healer was amazing too.
Stop stereotyping women into something we are not. It's 2023 and we do watch and enjoy anime just like guys, no matter the genre.

There's always some regardless of the piece, but this is obviously a very otaku-centric story. Some of Rudeus antics and knowledge of what he did in his past life made it a no-no for some of my female friends
