When it was said "the tratior of the Earth group was Kushida", it couldn't mean she was the one who betrayed her group, as they all voted correctly and she was VIP to begin with , so, the betrayal is somethign else. Someone in the comments said it was telling Ryuuen (I think that's his name) from C class the identity. Though... Mars group at the begnning suggested the same method and Neptum also did the same, despite A class' approach, by the way, unless somehow reallyone figuered on their own. So the only reason she's a traitor she's the traitor of D class, whcih means potentiocally there could be only two (Kudida and Horitikazawa), and as Ayanokoji said she was the traitor of the Earth group it shodesn't come as a srurpise, cause everyone knows she was in that group and everyone answered correctly, so she told them. I guess it won't be for the sake of plot, but as I see it, it might as well be a way to face it as a win-win, something Kushida tends to promote, at least on the surface. so she would want to help everyone. She thought she would save someone finding her, than she could risk herself getting zero prfoit of the context, cause this is the only situation she won't gain points. Sp... being selfish made her the traitor...? Cause I don't find a reason for her help Ryuuen personaly, but again, I'm sure they'll find one. Or at least one that will make her look bad.
Another thought: What did Ayanokoji gained by making Kushida choosing between the two options. As we know how she acts (on the surface, at least) she will never try to have a conflict. So it is only natural she wouldn't side any of them. So... what was the gain? Scarking her? Cause unless something additional will happen... there's no reason to suspect of this.
Don't let it bother you, they made mistakes in adaptation. LN ism't fully covered which leads to mistakes, to understand from cover to cover you need to read the LN.
For example the lord of the rings, they showed mostly fights trying to make the look epic, but a lot of things were left out from the book, if they were to cover it, it would took several times more. Same with Harry Porter i hate movies because they show mostly dynamic things leaving important ones behind the scenes. And i don't mention Duna (or Dune not sure how it should be in English). You should enjoy as it is and don't bother with many details or you should read the original. If you are interested in minor parts people might tell you but nobodt can fill you in all the details. Even if people tell you it's just the basic's or concepts if it is enough for you good, otherwise you always should dive youself. Sometimes even reading people skip things bwcause they are hidden and veiled. Why do people don't like Witcher etc ? They dive too deep, and shows can't cover it all up.
What's a missing volume 4.5 is about ? Too much talk about it.
Good to know it's not just my lacking of understanding... I admit I don't buy stuff online and definetely I won't find it here.... And who knows? I may just be confused with the book, as English isn't my mother tounge and their line of thought is a bit hard for me follow. I guess they'll epolain it eventually.
The shift from one arc to another felt too abrupt. They could have done a better job with that.

Looks like we got ourselves a solid bait for the traitor. MC looks like he's already prepared for the next arc which happened slightly faster than i expected. The athletic event will be unpredictable with MC's plan but I guess it will be a good one.
Finally caught up, oooh Kushida betrayed her group because of femc? But AK just mentioned that she only betrayed them at that time, hmmm i hope she is not the traitor in the sports fest competition thingy.
a decent episode with mild brainstorming
ayanokoji did a good job with explaining suzune about the three leged race
and well im not much surprised about kushida lmao its always people like that who have a whole different side to them
It was good but I still am disappointed in the fact that, Ayanokoji's underdog nature is now being uplifted, instead of doing things and controlling people secretly, he now does it openly which goes against his original character in season 1
Took me a while to finish this episode, couldn't recall what happened. Hopefully Ayanokouji explains how he found the traitor.

Would've been nice if they could adapt some chapters from volume 4.5 (a collection of some of our characters' summer vacation stories that occur after the cruise ship VIP test) to smooth out the transition between these two arcs, but that really is just a nitpick and not too much of an issue.
This episode was handled well imo; nothing felt too lacking. Although I myself still don't get why Ayanokouji asked Karuizawa to disagree with Horikita for the sake of asking for Kushida's opinion. Was it to determine if Kushida was the traitor? And if so, HOW does that determine her as the traitor?
Anyway, I'm really curious as to how much Ayanokouji actually could've pulled in the grip test. Probably over 100kg since that's the figure he mentions to himself when talking about muscle mass and such
This arc contains some rather substantial character development for Horikita later on, and even for Sudou as well. However I don't exactly remember them covering enough of it.... hopefully my memory is just bad and they actually included everything necessary. As long as one particular conversation between Horikita and Sudou is kept in, I think it'll be all good.
Damn don't go after crazy gal kushida, you can't blame her for her breasts taking over. :c
Behold of my awesomeness~
controversial and/or sensitive topics likely devolve into the same repetitive, derogatory, abusive, and harassing comments can no longer be posted.
But my feels.
Kei is Kiyotaka's bitch at this point, with the bonus of her starting to develop feelings for him. Very nice. Kiyotaka is the kind of chad I aspire to become.
Horikita is so fricken annoying I know why kushida hates her, like stop being high and mighty. She is the 2nd worst girl in this fricken series after kushida.
So arisu didnt show up at all in ep 123
Class a embarassed themselves twice now, are they just going to sit and take it? class b too indirectly.
Because of the events, if i recall the numbers from s1 correctly, class c is literally right behind class b now? if there had been any more class c would have overtaken b. while a's Position is of course kind of shaky right now. while class d not much has changed simply because the initial point gap was ridiculous to begin with
Meanwhile its ep 4 and they still have to back explain previous episode. who knows
supposedly the idea is that something something students
its kind of funny how kei went from basically not appearing in s1 and now she has all the screentime. for now
anyway vacation is over, literally spent on who knows what.
oh look, how convenient, class and class d on the same side?
that just sounds like an excuse to make class a win and class bc lose
alternatively its possible class a would lose again, but then that would be the 3rd loss in a row. class d could lose as well but eh
i do wonder if they ever gave us the entire class names, since there's only 25 people. you know, "only" 25, no big deal
im curious if there's some meaning behind picking red and white
also this is a sporting event, IN THEORY, so its going to require yet another skillset
the funny thing is mr mc has clearly demonstrated he's still above average soo
i mean as usual whatever really
i mean there's only 100 first year students so shrug
otherwise the games looks like your usual sport events, no idea how they're going to game the system like this
for nwo the question is about gmbling, do they try to maximise their wins or minimize loss
the question now is suzune and kei i wonder. but welp
so anyway yeah the problem is that suzune is too smart for her own good. while kei idk
because anyway games aside, what they need is communication and coordination
interesting that despite that, suzune still won the vote somehow
like i know the whole point of the series is manipulating other people to get what you want, but like
ok what on earth is going on now
i feel like they're just
fundamentally its a problem of the genre and the whatever you call this story, but its just like random things
like, oh look at how good our mc is he can predict the future
oh look is the grip strength thing
so basically this is supposed to show the mr mc is not totally omniscient, because he's so elite he doesnt realize that, sometimes he fails to appear average
and yes people mentioned this in spoilers
the fact that he controlled himself to it means eh. i mean its literally gaming the system in exact, but who knows
so i dunno man
you know a long time ago i read a similar story about a dude manipulating his whole class to say yes or no, its really sickening
im really curious though since the way the story is setting up now, it feels like something is definitely going to happen to either suzune, its going to cause something else, or a red herring. but so far i feel like there havent been any red herrings. yet
suzune is just a normal elite where she tries to achieve maximum results, but basically this entire arc is going to be about communication and cooperation, so in this case manipulating other people
teamwork basically is pretty important in teams, gee who would have thought
so at this point he straight out says that he believes kushida is a traitor
so the plot twist from vol 1, or is it a separate thing?
you know its kinda sad. i want to believe that she's innocent but considering how the mc is like infallible
also idk man, i guess information is information
The problem right now is that, he says he thinks kushida is a traitor, but where did this come from?
Of course he's like the only person that knows about her, and conveniently kushida has been losing screentime, while suzune has had some here and there
Idk if sakura will ever get screentime again. quite literally used like a tool and thrown away, I really dislike it when people do this. The class isnt even that big, but I guess for now the problem is that sakura does not contribute anything
Basically an introduction to the next arc, and the setup of the whole traitor thing and suzune vs kei and class manipulation.
Honestly so much words, and honestly it just felt like a continuation of ep 3, every ep it just gets darker and darker.
While they did joke at the mc being not omniscient or omnipotent it still doesnt change the fact that he's completely op, everything has been going according to plan so far, if not even more
Like they deliberately point out that suzune has flaws, and while idk about kei or kushida like, its kinda silly really.
So far since this is a sports arc, the only thing they can do is try to optimize their preparations and setup as much as they can. I'm still expecting there to be some kind of twist, and it sounds like an easy way for class a to gain points. But is class bc really going to just sit around and lose? I dunno man
Suzune is implied to be at least slightly above average in sports, but who knows. Its not like one person can just carry the whole class. or can
Another thing of note is some people may like the whole mystery unreliable narrator thing but I dont, it just feels like a troll
CocoaGalaxy said: The problem right now is that, he says he thinks kushida is a traitor, but where did this come from?
The guy from class C literally said it to Suzune in 3rd episode and Ayanakoji heard it. Idk why did they make Suzune's reaction look like that, because she was already told that the traitor was Kushida before.
Okay we’re seeing Kei becoming more in love with Ayanokoji, she’s pretty much whipped to him at this point😭
Wow Kushida being the traitor surprised me yet at the same time made me think that suits her since her character is tricking everyone into thinking she’s actually a nice person
Ayanokoji putting Horikita in her place and telling her she needs to be a little nicer to the other classmates made me feel hype bc while I do love Horikita she needs to take it down a notch just a little bit bc the class is simply trying their best yet she be shitting on them😭
Considering ayanokoji's true personality and the way he's treating karuizawa makes me feel like she's gonna produce Stockholm syndrome for ayanokoji lol.
Ayanokoji being dumbfounded after sudo give him the wrong information about strength was hilarious, a genius can't outsmart your intelligence if you have 0 intelligence
It's good to see horikita getting the taste of her own medicine, academic score is all she have, outside of that she's just your average D class defect student
Kuhida becoming traitor wasn't out of question especially if you know her true rotten personality
