Chalk me up as one of the ones who initially dismissed this series due to the bear onesie.

It's nowhere near as childish as the costume would suggest, although it also doesn't ever get particularly dramatic. Which is to say the general content is pretty all ages leaning toward the more relaxed slice of life side of things.

If you like overpowered protagonists, cute girls, and reaction-centric comedy then give it a shot.

A very cute series. Really enjoyed watching this.

I didnt actually find out this was an isekai until trash taste reacted to the season 2 trailer. Always had my eye on this series but when I heard it was an isekai I was immediately on it.

Ngl that last scene really gave romance vibes lol. I was sitting here thinking "Theres no way they're going down a yuri route right? Not even most yuri themed series go full yuri". But its obviously just a close sisterly friendship which is still equally as cute.

Cant wait to get onto season 2.
Yuritopia FTW!!!!!!!!! BANZAI TO YURI !!!!!!!!!!!!

Weird energy for this show's final ep...

"Hey Fina, wanna come with me on my next trip?"
"Nah I'm gonna stay home and carve up monsters"
"Oh...well I'd love if you came, but you do you"
"Why am I so lonely!?"

"You should take a break from harvesting."
"Nah, I'm going to keep harvesting. Actually, I'm going to take a break."
"Why would you do such a thing, you're already so useful!"

For someone who was supposed to be so smart, Yuna not noticing that something is wrong with Fina was a bit of a disappointment. Other than that it was pretty heart warming friendship moment at the end, about time she started to make a traveling party. Overall was a pretty fun watch and will be looking forward to season 2.
Actually, Yuna is a pretty accurate portrayal of someone who's on the autism spectrum (I'm on the lower end myself). A lot of the signs are there. Yuna dislikes human contact, doesn't care for societal formalities and titles, gets straight to the point, doesn't want to stand out, extremely judgmental of violations of her personal code of ethics (the orphanage episode), etc.

We're excellent at analyzing objects, events, and situations because those follow consistent rules of logic, math, or physics (it's why so many of us lend up in STEM fields). But humans are unpredictable because they often don't act rationally. That's why we hate socializing - it's a whole bunch of pointless rules, (aka customs and formalities like greeting, return greeting, inquiry about how they're doing when you don't really care, etc), which make no logical sense but need to be followed. They are the way they are because a bunch of people in the past randomly decided that's the way it should be. That's why different cultures have different customs - there's no rhyme or reason behind them, just pointless rules people made up which you need to follow if you don't want to be seen as "weird".

On a personal level, a set of rules you develop to predict one person's behavior don't apply to a different person. And sometimes a set of rules you develop for one person don't even apply when the same person is in a different mood. (It's why we like animals - their behavior is much more consistent and predictable.) It gets tiring trying to figure out what's going on in someone else's mind, so you often just end up trusting that what they say is truthful. You'll make a suggestion based on what you think is going on in their mind (like "Fina would probably like to come along on this trip, so I'll invite her"). But if the person says something contradictory ("Nah, I'm gonna stay home"), you just assume that what comes from the horse's mouth is truth. And that it was your original interpretation of their state of mind which was wrong.

We don't get along well with habitual liars (I try to cut off all contact with them). And tsundere types like Fina who try to hide their embarrassment by lying are extremely problematic (I don't lump them with liars because they usually don't violate my code of ethics like liars do).

So it's not that Yuna doesn't notice that something is wrong with Fina. She notices, and makes an offer or suggestion to try to help fix it. But when Fina says everything is fine, Yuna just takes her statement as absolute truth. Figures she was wrong when she thought there was something wrong with Fina, and drops it.

If anyone cares, episode 12 was pretty much filler.
If you feel like it research a bit about the novels or something, can't say anything about it on this thread.
Will start season 2 now, it'll probably continue as if it hasn't happened, is my guess.

Bear-girl Yuna is truly the apex predator in this isekai world with how she effortlessly collects all these little sisters.

10/10

I didn't watch this series back then, I watched "Kuma Bear Punch!" first this spring season and now I ended watching this first season, I loved both seasons so much, very wholesome anime, one of my favourites of this genre, Yuna and the other characters are so adorable, colorful visuals and there is a perfect mix between calm setting/enviroment, action, adventure and comedy, cute and funny moments.
Many Yuna's facial expressions are meme material, she's so funny and cute (also Fina, she is the epitome of moe, great work, as always, for Azumi Waki), I appreciated also the great work of Yuna's seiyuu: Maki Kawase, perfect tomboyish type of voice for the character, very charming, funny and cute, perfect fit for the character.
