| A good start! I actually really like the art, the girls are damn hot!! Especially the scene where Chizuru and Kzuya were hiding under those sheets! That was just oef!! I like the premise, it's an interesting idea for a romcom, I love how Kazuya and Chizuru got themselves into this awkward situation! Can't wait to see how that develops.. Chizuru is actually fire, love her character, her date side but also her actual personality!! but oh my word it's only been one episode and I don't like Kazuya already XD just that complaining about Chizuru putting up an act during their date was just painful to watch, I mean you rented her just to have them act like your girlfriend.. Why so bitter about that when it was he who wanted this... Moving on from my little rant, Animation is pretty damm great!! TMS surprised me with that! |

| Watched the first episode and honestly, it was really fantastic. His behavior is pretty natural, in my opinion. He's not a cuck or anything because when people get dumped they're become unpredictably desperate. Anywho... first episode was out-friggin'-standing. Better than I've expected and the art/animation was great. |

| What a wretched little incel this main character is. I suppose that's kinda the point, but Im not big on cringe humor so Ill probably drop this. Usually Im all for settings where the characters arent all young teenagers, thats normally a nice change of pace, but this show comes across like its written for young teenagers regardless |
| Oh, a pretty entertaining start. Concept of the show alone hooked me at first but I’m glad to say that this might definitely be worth keeping up with. Visuals are pretty good, as expected from the wonderful folks over at TMS Entertainment, and the choreography of the Op very aesthetic and classy, which I appreciate to see. Amamiya Sora-san VA the main female lead here was fantastic and I’m looking forward to more of it! Quite the genki (goddess) obaa-chan by the way, xD. When the two said they were never going to meet again, you just had a feeling they’d at the worst time and that’s exactly what happened lol. Never going to get tired of these tropes. |

| Cute anime so far. I like the premise. It’s different and interesting. I can see Kazuya being upset that his girlfriend dumped him out of the blue but he shouldn’t take it out on Chizuru. He knew what he was signing up for when he went to a “rent-a-girlfriend” website. That end. 😂 |

| Gotta say prefer the manga personally. Having it all animated just hammers down how cringey it can be sometimes. Despite all that, still enjoyed it. Art was not as good as I expected it to be, but still pretty good (but the manga goes way beyond it though, but that's understandable since manga vs. anime have their own challenges). Liked the ED animations. Will be waiting for Ruka and Sumi to be introduced! |

| What a great start! The title itself suggests that different rental girlfriends will be introduced, but they already introduced the best girl. I guess that will be Chizuru.  |

It's literally her job to pretend to be anyone's girlfriend, he BOOKED and PAID for her. It's like those host and hostess clubs in Japan. People pay thousands to sit and talk to someone but they're simply customers and not in a relationship. Many business men and women go to host/hostess clubs to spens time with their faves and they willingly spend tons of money on them. Google the top hosts and hostesses in Japan. MC is a fucking idiot. His girlfriend broke up with him and he takes it out on a girl who is just doing her job. Why doesn't he go to his ex-girlfriend and yell at her? His family is over the top. He's only twenty years old and they're acting like he'll never be in a relationship. A lot of people don't have time to date until their 20s in Asia because of the demands of schoolwork. |

| Okay, so first episode has us introduced with Mizuhara and Kazuya and his ex. lol. Now first things first, Mizuhara is cute and hot at the same time. I really like her. On the other hand Kazuya is a sole virgin lookin' for love but got dumped by his ex. Felt bad for him but he's also an airhead. Good episode and lookin' forward to the next one. Opening is okay imo but I love the ED song more. |

| Have heard of this infamous manga, of literally capsulating upon Japan's renting business (which is legal BTW), and this is a dabbing cash-cow of it in the most obscene way, judging by the many people I know here and there that hates this manga with a flaming passion. Whereas for this show, the MC Kazuya Kinoshita who is just trying to get laid lols with a girlfriend, what an idea. I was exoecting myself to hate this show, just the same with the manga, but holy cow, TMS Entertainment surprised me heavenly with this adaptation, going 1-to-1 for realism sake (because nothing can get better than going off-shot against the manga). Getting to know the first of 4 rent-a-girlfriend gals Mizuhara Chizuru firsthand, it's what I'd expect of the rental business that isolates personal feelings with business. And right from the get-go, getting the rental girlfriend to be introduced to each other's family through accidental events is just cliche overload. (and the cringe is real). Despite all that though, this premiere episode is dare I say, a really good introduction into the series, and a nice episode. I hate to say this, but definitely looking forward to the other gals more, not just Chizuru. |

Renting a girlfriend is no different than going to a hostess club and paying a hostesses to sit down and talk to you for 15-30 minutes. Host/Hostesses clubs are very popular in Japan and its an easy way for men and women to make money. |

| I watched this thinking it was going to be a fun trashy harem or something. I wound up actually getting invested in what was going on. Like, the characters are actual characters. It feels like this is better than it has any right being. |

| I really like the concept and it should be funny, but I can't help but feel the anime is let down a bit because Kazuya is such a piece of shit. HE pays to have a fake date and then gets pissy and gets uppity about the fact that Chizuru is a rental girlfriend and everything she did on the date was a lie... well DUH! On the flip side though, I really loved Chizuru! She's cute and confident and doesn't take any shit from Kazuya when he looks down on her. I just find it a little sad that she's inevitably going to fall for him (such is the nature of this kind of story). Hopefully by that time, he might have redeemed himself enough for it to not feel unnatural! |

| first episode is a 10/10, no idea of what's upcoming i don't know why but the current top MAL review for this show by poiu45 is an obvious troll and doesn't give anything of value. Zero correlation with the anime and an aimless philosophical rant. I don't mind if the score is high/low but can we at least have reviews stay on topic? |
| I was going to read the manga but I haven't yet. This episode just makes me want to do that more so now because this first episode was top tier and I need more of this in my life. |
