Yeh, loved it. Game changer in the relationship, and awesome character development for the both of them. I love the tension with them both not understanding their feelings very well, and the flip of dependence! Chiaki is going to have to do some werk!

What a great episode from start to finish....Starts out with some good cameos (especially the Mine/Miki cameo) and just keeps rolling. Loved the rehearsals and the actual performance was so splendid. Although I am sad Chiaki didn't conduct Nodame's first orchestra performance, I'm glad he was there to watch and glad she had the opportunity (even if it was with the perv). I really hope Chiaki's foreshadowing doesn't come to light though :>

also...my classical library is growing so much from watching this series...

Ahhh I was so viscerally nervous, my stomach was turning haha

I am relieved that went well, she was able to stay Nodame and also give a spectacular performance

Upset that she didn't want to see Chiaki... nervous about these last two episodes

Like expected, she went with Stresemann. It was fascinating to see her decide to change the pace after the performance begun, really, only Stresemann could keep their composure after something so abrupt, even though he managed to handle it though, seems like that really stressed him out. Nodame went off without Chiaki, she's moving without him now. This might've been the best episode so far.

I feel bad for Chiaki now, tho.

One Piece episode 914 & 915 & 1027 were a mistake and 957 brought the salvation - FMmatron

Chiaki did nothing wrong, yet Nodame gives him that bs proposal "i dunno why...", acts all weird, then disappears and doesn't tell him (her friends too - good job) she's having her debut... wtf? and he comes from goddam Italy to see her anyway only to be told "she doesn't want to see you". wow. yes she is amazing as a pianist but as a partner, a mess. low self-esteem is not other ppl's problem ya know
and also it feels like she betrayed her teacher

I think I'm the only one who hated the episode. As if a last minute change with the LSO in order to promote a complete unknown pianist who hasn't ever competed isn't ridiculous enough, the performance itself was just... The recording excerpts of the 2nd and 3rd movement were just okay, the 1st was an utter bloodbath. That tempo is just not something agreeable, let alone astonishing. I am at a loss of words. Glenn Gould's performance of Brahms' Piano Concerto No. 1 pretty much finished his career as a concert pianist due to his unheard-of slow interpretation - and that happened only after his previously established career and well-known technique.... And you're trying to say that Nodame's pathetically slow 1st movement was something to be revered and applauded in such a wild fashion? Gould had some intelligent, well thought-through reasons for his interpretation and yet it changed the course of his career due to the audiences ripping him apart. Nodame played like that... just because, as a debutante, and became an instant sensation. Okay. Uh-huh. Because that's exactly how classical music world works. I have no words. Okay, I might be getting too emotional about a work of fiction, but that was just so unrealistic it became almost offensive.
