| Violet "Maybe you should have brought four of us if you thought I was going to get eaten. I doubt it'll happen though. I'm sure my hunter genes will kick in and help me out." She said as she looked out the window as the ground got closer in view. |
| Itami He shrugs, Four demigods wouldn't go unnoticed in a place like Mount Olympus. Lot's of monsters live around there, can't attract too much attention. He says as the plane now slowly makes its way towards the runway below. |
| As the plane hit the tarmac of the runway Alex cringed, closing her eyes for a few seconds as she felt all the wheels hit the ground. She was now on ground. On Earth. She was now safe. And glad. She exhaled an audible sigh of relief |
| Itami See easy. He says to her as the plane parks and passengers begin to leave. |
| Violet "Guess it's time to get stated off then." She unfastened her seat belt and grabbed her bag. |
| Itami Yep, let's go. He says, grabbing his bag. He waits for Violet to go since she was in the isle seat. |
| Violet She follows the trail of people out of the plane and into the airport. "It's warmer then I thought it would be." She comment as she stretched out a bit. "So where to now?" |
| "Check out" Alex deadpanned after getting of the plane, "where else?" She asked rhetorically hoping Violet wasn't seriously asking the question |
| Itami I think she meant after leaving the airport, besides we don't need to check out, we have no luggage to claim, we can just leave. He says to Alex, now we go to Litochoro via a taxi. (Want to just timeskip there?) |

| Itami They arrive in a motel in Litochoro, they needed a rest for the night after all. Two rooms thanks, Itami says to the clerk behind the desk, he then gets two keys and pays. Alright, seeing as Alex and I are guys and you are the only girl, you get a room to yourself for privacy's sake, he says to Violet, handing her one of the keys. |
| Violet "Sounds like a good deal to me." She said as she took the key from him and started off to find the room listed on the key. |
| Itami Kay, lets go to our room then Alex, he says her. Heading off and looking for the numbered door that matched the numbered key. |
| Violet Finding the room she unlock the door and walked in closed the door behind her. She set her bag down on the table and took a quick look around. |
| Alex lifted an eyebrow at this, yet that was all, really it was no diffrent than when they slept at camp demigod. After all, she'd never really understood why each gender had to be separated from the other, she was just not able to grasp it. "It's over here" she spoke they walked out down a hallway, judging that the numbers were in order, "shouldn't you have asked for rooms that were close by?" |
| Itami Why would I do that? I prefer being away from everything else anyway. He says, unlocking the door and stepping inside. One bed. Fantastic. I'll just sleep in the bathtub or something he says to her, sighing slightly. He probably should have asked about how many beds were in the room beforehand... He throws his bags down and looks around, Not a very charming place is it? He asks, looking around at the cobwebs and assortment of small holes in the furniture. |
| "I'll take the floor then" she spoke, knowing he couldnt sleep in the bath and risk getting a crooked neck, especially when they he would have to do the talking in front the gods, as Hade's kid and representative of the camp, but then again, why did she care? "On second thought suit yourself, more bed for me" she shrugged, letting her bag drop to the floor and taking of her blazer and hanging it up |
| Itami He nods, although, if you don't mind sharing the bed, it would be much appreciated. Or is that too weird? He asks, clearly not knowing if sharing a bed between two males was okay. |
| "Should I care at this point?" she asked bewildered taking of her tie and shoes dumping them next to her rucksack, as she walked towards the bed, crawling over to one of the sides with a book shed brought |
| Itami I'll take it as an invitation then, he says. He takes off his clothes, apart from his boxer pants, and flops onto the bed. He falls asleep quite quickly, snoring softly. His mask still on. |
| Seeing as he fell asleep Alex closed her book with a soft thud, standing up to go and turn the light switch off, and then moving back to the bed, lying down on her side facing Itami, wondering if he was really okay and still had bad dreams |
| Itami He tossed and turned in his sleep, grumbling and mumbling the whole time. As if he was being plagued by dreams. When morning comes, he wakes, but in sleep paralysis. A figure stands in the corner, slowly getting stabbed to death by another. Dana! He shouts out, the sleep paralysis fades and the figures do to. He pants heavily and closes his eyes, getting rid of the tears there. |
| Alex hadnt been able to sleep all night, especially with Itami lashing out and mumbling all night. When dawn came she was awake, just staring, hovering over him, trying to pin him down because the thrashing had gotten dangerous, and last nights bruises were already showing. "Hey" she shook him softly as he heard him scream out the name of 'Dana', "Hey" she repeated anew softer though, seeing tears prick at the corner of his eyes yet didnt comment on it, just waiting for him to make sure he was awake |
| Itami He looked up at her and he began to cry. Sobbing heavily. Why did she have to die? Why? He asks between sobs. |
| Alex just stared at him as she had no idea what to respond, slowly she reached out, letting her forehead rest against his own as her hands circled the back of him, hugging him slightly awkwardly yet hopefully he wouldnt notice it as she just staid there, rubbing his the small of his back in slow circles with her hands waiting for him to let everything go. |
| Itami He stopped sobbing, unsure of what to do. Wh- He stops talking and simply wrapped his own arms around her, it felt good to hug someone. He had never been hugged before. |
| Alex just carried on there, her eyes closed, breathing steadily, as her hands moved up and down his back, trying to get all the tension that he had stuffed away. For once she didnt flinch when she felt him wrap his arms around her, "Im sorry" she whispered slightly "I dont have an answer for your question" She carried on whispering carefully, hoping to give him some closure, "But if I had to say it.. I think it was so you could live" she separated a bit, so she could get a clear view. Realising that some how she had ended up straddling him |
| Itami He takes in what she says and nods, Thank you. He says simply, smiling beneath his mask, though she wouldn't be able to see it. Then he realized something. You're a girl? He asks, his eyes studying her. He had felt the small buds on her chest during their hug. And she was sitting on top of him, but he couldn't feel any bulge where there should have been. |
| "Yes" she shrugged simply, not caring about it, "are you okay now?" |
| Itami Yeah, I'm alright. But I'm so sorry. I didn't know. You should have told me, you could have slept with Violet... He says to her, looking away a little sheepishly. He realizes that she is still on top of him, Umm, this position isn't awkward for you? He asks uncertainly. |
| "very awkward" she replied with the usual pokerface, getting of him and sitting on her side of the bed, "And I cant" she spoke staring at the wall, if she tried to mutter she was a girl then then her tongue would become tied and she couldnt say it. "Whims of our father" she spoke with indifference, shed learned to live with it a long time ago, "He'd wanted my twin, not me, since we were identical he struck a deal, he'd bail me if i pretended to be him, seemed good enough" she shrugged herself as she got up, running a hand through her hair as she put her shoes on, rummaging in her bag for a spare white shirt which she couldnt see finally giving up |
| Itami You'll always have a place at Camp Demigod, remember that. He says to her with conviction. He notices her looking for some clothes, You can use mine if you want. |
| "Too big" she spoke, walking into the bathroom, to freshen up, the shirt didnt stink and it was only a little bit creased so it would fall out, as she walked back out and started tying her tie, not looking at the naked guy who was still on the bed, "why do you never take of your mask?, its annoying" she spoke, knowing that she;d only known tears had pricked from the creases in his skin and the small glint of wetness through the slits of his mask |
| Itami He doesn't respond for a second but decides it was alright to tell her, It's nailed to my face. He says softly, as if he hadn't spoken that truth ever before. |
| She flinched at that, "N-nailed..?" she spoke in soft horror, that was inhumane, "Do you know where the nails are?" she turned to him, clear concern in her eyes now. He'd melted most of her walls without her even realising it, and at the same time shed realised how much she had actually missed out by continuously living in the past |
| Itami He taps fours spots, two on either side of his jaw, and two near his temples. The mask stores my power, I draw on it through the nails. Father's work. I can take it off, the nails slide back in, but it hurts a fair bit. |
| "I heard you yesterday" she spoke quietly going back to sitting next to her bag on the floor frowning slightly, she preferred her own power, even if it was useless in battle if she had to go through that |
| Itami Oh... No, that wasn't the mask. The nails don't feel like that at all. I can show you if you want to see, but I'll need some help taking it off. He says from the bed. He traces his finger along a large trench of scar tissue among the numerous scars on his body. |
| she shook her head "when we get back to camp, unless you want to do it now?" she just didnt want to make him feel awkward |
| Itami I'm fine doing it here, less chance someone else will see as well, he says, reaching up to his mask and pressing slightly into the screws, wiggling them a bit to loosen them. He grunts a little at the pain but apart from that, doesn't make a sound. |
| She stood up, edging slowly towards him, a morbid curiosity had taken into her body |
| Violet Getting up in the morning she looked around the room for something to do. Rather bored she left for a walk around taking her stuff with her. |
| Itami Alright, I need to take it out all at once. So you pull the bottom part while I pull the top. Then it should slide out, he says, positioning his hands on the mask. |
| She moved closer, positioning her hands, "on three?" She asked her brow clearly furrowed |
| Itami He touched her hand and moved it slightly, there. He then repositioned his hands. [b]Alright, on three just gently start pulling. |
| She didnt flinch for once when he touched her hands, moving them, "one" she said steadily |
| Itami Two. Three. He says before starting to gently pull. He blinks tears from his eyes and grunts a little. |
| On three she did the same, hearing him grunt yet she kept pulling, slightly dreading what she would see under the mask |
| Itami He whimpered slightly as the mask came out, he then lowered it away from his face. Underneath was a pattern of dark veins crisscrossing his face, the skin was pulled taut and tight, it was pale and dead skin covered it. The worst feature was the scars, it should have been impossible to have those scars, they were deep and completely covered his face. Well? He asks, smiling slightly, ready for her horrified expression. The smile tugged strangely at his scarred skin, making it stretch and tremble. |
| Alex showed no expression for the first few seconds, as she slowly lifted her right hand, bringing it up, hovering in front of him, hovering in front of one of the biggest looking scars, waiting for his aproval to touch it, it wasnt exactly what most people would call beautiful, but you never really saw it every day, actually shed never seen something so deformed in her life, and she had seen plenty deformations on missions. In fact most would probably say it was downright hideous and monstrous, but not she. Alex was more interested in how he'd got something on his face that seemed so intricate and complex, as if it had been calculated, it more like enthralled her and spellbound her to where she stood, not being able to look away with specs of awe in her eyes |
