Punch Line Episode 7 Discussion

For those happy or disappointed that ''Yuuta is not a transgender character''

He actually is .. a boy's soul in a girl's body. The definition of transgender may actually be more complicated than this but still... He has a woman's body but he can't act ''feminine'' or have a ''feminine gender'' and he feels more comfortable with male clothing. that makes him transgender until he returns to his real body. The difference from a real life transgender person is that he is actually lucky enough to have a real male body to return to, as it appears that his gender identity is more ''masculine'' than ''feminine'' so it is more comfortable for him to have a male's body (well the male one is the original body anyways xD ). Then again there are some people who don't mind their biological sex and act ''feminine'' or ''masculine'' or both and they don't have the need to change their assigned sex to match it with their gender identity. I'm using quotation marks for femininity and masculinity because what is considered feminine and masculine may be different depending the culture or society or even the individual we are talking about.

Sorry if I'm not making any sense, gender identity is always a difficult and complicated subject to discuss about and I'm neither a psychologist nor a native English speaker xD

So I wonder why the cat-spirit doesn't explain to Yuuta-spirit that his body is possessed by his own self? what is that cat's true intention ...

Also Chiyoko doesn't seem to recognize her own body .. maybe because it's cross-dressed with short hair now? or maybe she doesn't remember about the swap at all... It seems that the 3 of them got separated after that accident. Then what about Yuuta (Pine)? he doesn't remember that this is Guriko's body because it's been 9 years and they grew up... or he does remember and that's why he acts so awkward and shy around her... Ahh so many questions .. I can't wait for the next episode .. I love this anime so far! :D
