DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Dat school drama~ Nice to see this episode take place more in the modern world tbh. Also kinda like some of the OST the episode. Tense episode with a cliffhangerish ending. Dat grin: I'm curious on next week with the confrontation. Ya, I sense rage and hate coming from both sides. |

| Another meh episode for a meh anime. Kadowaki gets summoned to the other world and becomes the sho of the other super strong, only sword in the world that can defeat Arata's sword and then swears to kill Hinohara. This guy is one of the most lame antagonists I have seen. He is basically crazy with rage and wanting to murder Hinohara because he lost to him in a middle school track race? Uh ok. Everytime I see him freaking out about Hinohara,(which is basically the entire time) i just have to facepalm. I wanted to like this series and ill stick through till the end, but im having a hard time finding it fun. |

| This was a good episode and the ending was quite creepy and evil. They cut a few corners here and there in translation from source material to the anime, but it wasn't as bad as last week. Other than changing the way Arata saved Kadowaki as well as how and where Harunawa appeared, and the fact that it was the other six Sho and not Harunawa that filled Kadowaki in on what was going on, and that Kadowaki had figured out the truth about the two Aratas because he saw the two talking to each other and not because of Harunawa, everything else was pretty faithful. They didn't really go as deep as they should have into Kidowaki and Arata's relationship, which kind of makes Kidowaki look petty. However, I think they may get to that later. So now all the players are in place and Kidowaki will now be coming after Arata. They are cutting corners here and there but it's not enough if they want to save on time, and also the fact that they are cutting corners waters down and dilutes the story as well. I give the episode a 7.65/10. |

That's the rest of the series in a nutshell. the end. Again, this anime cut the wrong corners and didn't go into the full story of Kidowaki and Hinohara. There was a lot more to it, which I hope they decide to get into next episode. And it's possible that they may one day be friends again, but know that in the 200+ chapters thus far in the manga, they are still fierce enemies. So don't count on them being friends at all by the end of this show, unless they do an anime-original ending. |

Can you see now why this series seems to have bit off more than it can chew by introducing all these plot points and only having 12 episodes with which to show them? They are cutting corners here and there but it's not enough if they want to save on time, and also the fact that they are cutting corners waters down and dilutes the story as well. | Wow, strict father. So that's the reason for him to greatly hate Arata. That another Arata trying to figure out about friends is... Wow, NamiDai's character! And one of the 6 masked (who seems to know that they switched and acting differently from other guardians) is voiced by Ishida-san, who called that pre-friend to come and switched, it seems. Is that girl beginning to figure out that he's different because of him coming here? |

| Kadowaki finally appears in the other world. He blames Hinohara for everything. Arata trying to figure things out but he also had some issues to attend to. Hinohara and gang arrive at Yoronumi's domain. Kadowaki gets his very own Hayagami Orochi. Next week Kotoha now realizes he is not her Arata and Hinohara and Kadowaki face off. Does Harunawa ( Ishida-san VA) have some relationship to Arata like Hinohara and Kadowaki?? Hope to see Arata meet Harunawa in the modern world. Whoa Yoronumi wants Arata to submit to him?? It seems all he 12 Shos are doing their own thing and not helping each other out with Six Sho problem |

Well I sure hope they do. I was pretty sure there should be more to Kadowaki's hatred for Hinohara than just what we're seeing...because if that was all, it would be really lame. Whatever it is that happened between them, I still can't see how that would make Kadowaki so angry that he wants to kill Hinohara. I mean normal people may say they want to kill someone, but not really have the motivation to do so like Kadowaki...but then again, maybe he is mentally unstable. Talk about anger management. If they don't show why Kadowaki hates Hinohara so much, I think I might have to resort to the manga. Anyways, best part of the episode was Kannagi just laying there watching them practice XD I laughed. Seriously, I never thought I would come to like Kannagi (even a little), but he seems pretty interesting. |

For anyone who wants to know the story of Kadowaki and Arata's relationship: They say Arata's relationship with Kidowaki is supposed to reflect that of Akachi and Kannagi. However I have to say that I always found Arata/Kidowaki's issues a contrived mess of high school drama that could have been easily solved early on if someone had bothered to correct the misunderstandings. Akachi and Kannagi's relationship however was much deeper and much more tragic, and there was actual betrayal involved and death and sacrifice. In comparison, Arata and Kidowaki's incident was really child's play. |

| I've rewatched the episode again and the anime made a fail with two of the Six Shinshou designs: I still think that Kadowaki needed a psychologist to solve his problems but decided to push them all onto Hinohara so I'm not sympathetic towards him. In the manga Kadowaki discovers that Hinohara is in Amawakuni when he caught the 2 Aratas talking about Hime-ou (she can be revived with Tsukuyo but Hinohara has a time limit, the necklace darkens its color when her life is reduced). At that moment Kadowaki was able to see that Arata isn't Hinohara (the spell went away) and got mad like we saw in the episode. And in the manga there's a girl called Oribe (according to Arata she resembles Kotoha physically although I think Oribe is prettier but personality-wise they're very different) who was able to see that Arata wasn't Hinohara, Kadowaki used to question her about what she was talking about. |

| I keep forgetting how far each of the anime in this season are along ... DAL is on 10, Gargantia's on 9 and Arata's playing catchup with 8. Kadowaki is kinda nuts, yes? Shitty home life and all. I wonder how that one Sho will react to being in the real world. Probably beat the crap out of Kadowaki's dad the next time he tries to slap him and then go after Cool!Arata. I wish this show was two seasons; maybe it'll end with a sequel hook, but I've heard somewhere the DVD sales are lousy for this show, so probably not. |
| This episode really brought a whole new level of stupid. The amount of eye rolling I did this episode was over 9000. Okay, but seriously, if you want to give someone a reason to kill someone else, it can't be as stupid as this load of shit. Who the hell gives up on track because he lost to someone or that Arata lost it for him? The fact that we don't even know the exact reason for the hate makes this show even worse. And on top of that who would kill someone over that? This show was already semi-boring, but now its boring AND has a dumb plot to it. Edit: i just read the spoiler about their relationship, and it doesn't change how dumb kadowaki's reasoning is. Then again anime logic =/= real world logic. |

Interesting current developments, came on the very bad school friend, now also move the six dressed in black! I hope does not end so soon, and would like more pathos. Great desire to follow him, but also to leave for too many mistakes made so far. |

| ...Wow. I don't think I have enough expletives in my vocabulary to convey how I'm feeling about this adaptation at the moment, especially after this episode. One of the few things that's keeping me from dropping is this is my desire to see the whole thing so I can fairly evaluate this in a review later. When they take bad shortcuts to get where they need to be, it shows. It shows terribly. |
