| Kari comes running up from somewhere behind TK all the while waving a hand in the air as a greeting. "Hey TK! I'm glad to see you're alright. Any ideas about where we are? I wonder where everyone else is. I hope they're all alright..." |

| Genji wakes up and wanders around the area, looking for food. After finding some apples in the bushes and making Trevor a meal out of them, he spots Takeru and Kari and decides to follow them. However, Trevor gives him away by belching loudly. Genji tries to cover his mouth, but is too late. |

| Gatomon hears a funny sound and turns around to see what made that noise. She sees a digimon and a human she's never seen before. Gatomon turns to Kari, gives a small tug on her shorts, and says, "Kari, look. There's a new digimon and boy over there." Kari then turns around, spots the new arrivals and says, "Oh! Hello there. Are you new to the Digital World? Are you a new digidestined like myself and TK? My name's Kari by the way. What's yours?" |

| Patamon and TK(for the sake of not getting annanick confused with the Japanese names :D) noticed the new digidestined as well, and walked over to him. "Oh, hello," TK said, walking up next to Kari. He gave his usual friendly smile. Patamon was resting on top of his head, looking at the boy and his digimon. |

| Mistaking TK's friendly smile for a predatory grin, Genji recoils and then swings at TK with his knife, snatching his digivice and retreating towards a nearby forest. |

| (Lol Thanks ChibiNeko. Appreciate it. I'm def. more used to the American names...) Gatomon and Kari both gasp! *GASP* (lol) As they watch the new boy and his digimon retreat, Kari immediately turns to TK to make sure he was alright. Gatomon stands in font of the two Digidestined to protect them just in case the boy tries to attack TK again and says, "I wonder why he tried to hurt TK...strange. I've never met a human like him before." While Kari is making sure TK is ok, she points out that the boy took his digivice and asks, "How are we going to get it back from him? *giggles* I don't think he likes you very much." |

| Meanwhile, in the forest, Genji is still running, and while looking around to see if he got away, he runs smack into a Monochromon. Too exhausted from running to put up a fight, he tries to climb a tree, but the Monochromon rams the tree and he falls out, sprawling on the ground. The Monochromon charges, and Trevor pushes him out of the way just in time, but gets sent flying himself. Genji tries to stand, but can't. |

| Again meanwhile, in the woods, Genji is still lying on the ground, getting charged by a territorial Monochromon. With his last effort, he grabs the knife from his belt and, just as the Monochromon steps on his left arm, he sinks the knife into its underbelly. Now in pain, it retreats. Just before losing consciousness, Genji sees Trevor returning to him. (Now would be a great time for someone to walk in and help me) |

| (Lol Sorry to make you wait...) "Alright, I guess we should go TK. Just to make sure that boy wasn't hurt" Kari starts to walk in the direction of the noise they heard and stops when she sees the unconscious and hurt boy, his digimon, and a retreating Monochromon. "I'll make sure that Monochromon doesn't get away Kari." says Gatomon Kari nods her head and rushes over to the boy and his digimon to see what injuries they have and yells out, "TK! Patamon! Hurry! Theses guys are hurt and Gatomon might need your help!" |

| TK looked to Patamon. "Patamon! Go help Gatomon! I'll go with Kari!" "Okay!" Patamon said, flying after Gatomon as TK rushed over by Kari. "He's pretty badly hurt. First thing's first, let's get him somewhere safe," TK said. |

| While unconscious, Genji has a sudden vision of his past, with his mother baking brownies for him. Flash forward to his meeting Trevor. Slowly, as Trevor nudges him, he begins to wake up. Seeing the same pair of humans that he assaulted earlier, he goes limp. "Who are you and what do you want? If you want your thing, I put it in my left pocket. Might as well take my knife too, I can't stop you. My arm's probably broken, and I'm just too tired." |

| Genji tries to sit up, but mistakenly leans on his left arm and winces in pain. "Ow, that arm's definitely broken. Well, from what I remember, I was sleeping when a noise from my dad's office next door woke me up. I went to see and I saw two monsters fighting on the computer teminal. I thought it was just a movie, and went in for a closer look. Then, suddenly, I was in the middle of a fight. I don't know what happened after that, only that I survived. That's basically what I've been doing for the past seven years; surviving." |

I don't think I've ever met another person in the Digital World that has a digimon but isn't a digidestined." *Thinks for a moment* "Hm, how to explain what a digidestined is...I guess in short, it's a human that was chosen to come to the Digital World, partner up with a Digimon destined to be that person's companion, and save the Digital World from evil. Each digidestined gets a digivice *points to TK's* which allows our digimon to digivolve into different forms. All the digidestined are somehow connected. For example, the original group back when TK and I were little, well we all saw a digimon battle while all of us lived at Heightonview Terrace." *Thinks again* "I think that pretty much explains that. YOU MUST TRAVEL TO THE RUINS OF THE EASTERN DESERT. YOU WILL FIND YOUR ANSWER THERE. The light fades, and Genji finds himself soaking in the river once again. "I think we have a place to go." |
