Riselia and Regina's past was for sure, a cry before their eventual death from the Voids attacking their village, robbing them of their parental figures back in their previous 3rd Assault Garden home. That's the reason why the 7th Assault Garden is their home to protect now, no excuses.

Leonis is brought to Excalibur Academy to be registered as a student, not be a kid after 1000 years. Summoning his servants of maid Shary and wolf Blackus to investigate what is truly going on in this Assault Garden as Riselia brings him around in the massive town. But Riselia lacking the power of a Holy Sword, she has dealt with this somehow.

As much as Leo does not want to draw attention to himself as Musel Rhodes is just the plain playboy jerk, he and Riselia are saved by Fine, whose Holy Sword is one unique specimen. Every platoon has its own dorm, and as Leo gets used to his time in the bath, Riselia still treated him as a kid as she tries to recruit him into their platoon.

The real stance of Selia however, is clear that she was not the same girl that Leo had revived her to be. So then, who EXACTLY is this Riselia Ray Crystalis?

I feel so bad that Selia lost her family to a huge battle with the voids, I honestly can't blame her for wanting to fight instead of being protected! That Musel guy ticked me off, a cocky guy with a harem (Who looked king mindless) and think he can take Selia for himself! Well luckily Leonis scared him off. I wasn't surprised with Selia's dizziness, as a vampire one usually needs blood to survive, but I never thought Leo would tell her she was dead already!

Glad to see the maid and wolf back. Maid really wants to keep him for herself. I wonder how Leo will fool others with the holy sword which he don't have. Also time to tell Riselia the truth. Btw decent fanservice but was expecting more.

I have a strange feeling that the plant wasn't covering Riselia's body in the light novel.

Sharry had like 4 lines in the beginning of the episode and is already one of my fave parts of the series lol.

Kinda funny how the demon lord has been reduced to a sexual joke between young students lol. “Gotta be careful with one’s like that, they’ll grow up to be demon lords in bed” this is definitely not the world Leo left behind

Loved Leo putting that rapey senpai in his place. Fantasy shows always have to have one token wannabe rapist in them, and we’ve got this one out the way early lol. Hopefully we see him taken down and those girls freed from his mind control soon

Shame the bath scene is so damn censored. For a passione show I thought we’d be seeing some good stuff. The thighs and waifus are great, but cmon! Wasted potential.

So she’s a vampire now eh. That’s a nice twist. Guess everything has a price and hers was her old life. Which considering how she was harassed because she couldn’t use a sacred sword is probably for the best.

Not even just that; but in general there’s been little good fanservice. But we’ll see

Well, that's a pretty sad backstory. Poor girls.

That bath scene killed my hopes for some ecchi in this show. They really did everything they could to cover Riselia there. I mean, I'm still liking the show but I gave it a chance in the first place because it was a harem/ecchi made by Passione so it's kind of disappointing.

I love the ED visuals, the girls look amazing. Although it took me longer than I'd like to admit to recognize Shary xD.

The concept and environment of this anime continue to change. Looking at the futuristic 1980s mecha city Riselia shows Leonis, it's the farthest it could be from some fantasy demon lord reincarnation story. Like it's kind of obvious Leo really is a visitor from the stars (with his companions) fascinated by a mechanized future Earth, after Riselia saved him and his companions who crashed after some battle etc...
But that's not the story the publisher wanted:

Yu Shimizu: "I have this great idea- in the future, there's a war between Earth and a planet of elves and demons; and this girl is half demon-race on Earth but they don't know it and..."
Publisher: "Sounds great- but we want a DEMON LORD REINCARNATED story"
Shimizu: "Okay, well, what if I make the leader of the demon army from another world crash land on earth and-"
Publisher: "Make it a final battle between a DEMON LORD and a Human army and you got a deal"
Shimizu: "Well, okay so he reincarnates into the future earth that's like a 1980s Mecha anime and-"
Publisher: "Knock it off! I said Demon LORD! And there needs to be a Magic School! And cute girls wearing uniforms! And she has to have a rival at the school who's a Noble with an attitude because nobility!"
Shimizu: ".....okay..."

That's exactly how the discussion went (probably)
They tour this massive silver futurist world, then at 19:40 suddenly it's sunset in a fantasy world as they approach the dormitory that is a total mismatch from the style of the entire city. The whole thing screams starships and automated doors and computers and technology.... but then there's magic swords, magic school, and a talking dog? And references to elves etc... it doesn't fit. It's like two different concepts mashed together because that's what the money guys wanted. If Leo and Riselia weren't cute AF I wouldn't bother watching it. It feels like it's well made too, which is a shame the money's been wasted on a project with such a confused identity.

This episode felt way lower quality than the previous one, the plot has potential however I'm beginning to think that will be wasted. Hopefully the next ep is better.
