| Welp, this had a fiery start. Still, I'm so glad to see the Konosuba franchise back on the TV screen again this time starring Megumin. Nice to also see Megumin's sister, Komekko in this. We also got their standard academy outfits so that was a pleasant sight to see too. Looks like this anime will follow Megumin's story including her time as she learns as a mage. Exciting! |

| More KonoSuba content is great, especially if it's a spin-off like this show feat. Megumin and Yunyun. It's definitely a KonoSuba prequel of Megumin's story with big ambitions and learning explosion magic from someone that saved her from young. Together with her younger sister Komekko and the nervous wreck of a mysterious girl, Megumin's family is quite the eccentric one, with her parents selling out-of-the-ordinary Crimson Demon craftsmen items as their livelihood. To become a master at explosion magic, well that's an unusual one. Megumin's first chapter of her story being at the Red Prison magic academy with other classmates like the big boobs Arue and the mysterious girl that is Yunyun, the latter definitely is thinking of her as a rival. Megumin's pursuing of explosion magic is definitely looked down upon being joke magic, and taught by the homeroom teacher sorcerer Pucchin, all Crimson Demon magic is all done in style and cool posing. Obviously, Yunyun feels nervous being paired with Pucchin, so Megumin doing a Chuuni thing to save her skin is some thought given to calm her down. Well, this is the starting point of Megumin and her obsession for Explosion magic to become a mage, which this premiere episode is definitely a flashy one. Machico's back for another KonoSuba OP, which this feels different as well. Definitely looking forward to more EXP-LLLOOO-SION! |

| It feels so weird to see Megumin not go full Chunni for almost every sentence she says, although it's cool to see her working for something/striving for something for once finally lmao. I can't wait for the moment we get to hear her fully fleshed-out introduction some time soon. |

| An explosive start if you will, and any Konosuba content is great at this point. It's a prequel of the fan-favourite Megumin, and her quest to learn explosion magic starts at a magic academy, and that teacher was hilarious. He'll believe anything just as long as you speak it in a flashy/chuuni way. We also got to see Megumin's family, who is as goofy as she is, which should make for some good comedic moments. As for the animation, not anything fantastic, even with the studio change, but it wasn't Konosuba's strong suit to begin with, so it's fine. Good premiere, and I'm looking forward to many more EXP-LLLLLOOOO-SSSSIIIOOONNN moments! |

| I love to see more of megumin yunyun and arue, haha i love how the teacher is so reacting. This moment when megumi only got 50 points. Well that’s nice to see how megumin learned explosion magic. |

| Well y’all know how I feel about megumin, it ain’t good, but this was a pretty fun first episode. Any opportunity to get more Yunyun I’ll take. It’s also a chance to see how studio Drive, who will be doing the 3rd season of the main anime can replicate the feeling Deen gave us and so far so good. Designs and atmosphere are pretty much the same. Looking forward to seeing how things turn out at the academy, the side characters seem really funny. |

| I actually just finished Season 1 of Konosuba yesterday and was planning to catch up on this by episode 3 but then I thought... This is a prequel, isn't it? So why don't I watch it when it releases? So I'm here! Right away this seems like quite a jump in production quality from season 1 (not that I really minded it) "World domination!" LMAO Wait, Megumin has a little sister? She's adorable! She's first in her class, kinda unexpected. Just goes to show her determination. Also why is everyone female? She definitely wasn't lying when she said that everyone in her village has quirky names like hers lol. Everyone, including the teachers, are chuunibyou! 18:43 "Huh, really?" reminds me of "Yes, I'm Kazuma". Love this Glad to see this have a comedic and unserious atmosphere like the main series Oh, and Megumin is best girl |

| Konosuba is back... I'm gonna rejoice. Megumin is back. We also saw Komeko as well. Explosions from the get-go. You love to see it. One of my favorite isekais is back. I can't explain how happy I am. I'm very grateful. I haven't read the spin-off but I will consume all of the Konosuba media in existence. Love Megumin. Can't wait for more awesome episodes from this franchise. Yunyun cute as ever. |

| The first few minutes were incredible. The onee san with big oppais was beautiful. Her interactions with Megumin was amusing. Really liked the ost, it was great. Rest of the episode with the crimson mages and their antics were hilarious. Megumin has some interesting classmates. |

| Heck yeah. KonoSuba is finally back on the menu boys! I never expected a prequel to be made. But it'll be more than enough to keep me busy till Season 3 I guess. And so far from the first episode it looks promising. Can't wait to see the origin story of Megumin aka best girl of KonoSuba. |

| My first initial impression is it seems like this series is going to be pretty fun and probably more informative of the world compared to the main series. But I will say, I am not sure how I feel about knowing the reason for her explosion magic obsession, because now it doesn't seem as unreasonable, making it less funny and instead more wholesome. That's more of what I would have expected from Megumin. They really shouldn't have excluded this, would be way more on brand and keep the obsession with explosion magic unreasonable. |
