| Well so far it looks pretty i like how they put some more focus on the familiers this time which could make for some good scenes and it already did it's how the three girls met after all. It also seems like this will be a gathering of misfits and not like that of the original novel with Anabuki Tomoko but this time it seems to be a group for motivation of the troops. While this episode featured some singing it wasn't the main focus but i wonder how the rest of the anime will go they seem to mention idol's which isn't really my thing but i will see how things go anyway. For now tho things looked like fun especially the New Zeeland girl looked funny for the short screen time she got. The main girl doesn't even seem to be enlisted yet which could be a problem in the future, but i guess that might add it's own charm. |

This in an idol show after all, and ecchi and heavy fanservice seem to be incompatible with that. It has the ecchi tag, but that must be just an inheritance from the franchise. It still looks very good though. (NGL, seeing someone who has been on MAL for 7 years make their first post ever just to complain about the lack of panty shots made my day.) |

| Excellent start. I'm really impressed by the first episode. I like the setting and characters. Those familiars are so cute! ^^ Hato is like Francesca Lucchini with her hilarious personality. :) I love this whole franchise so much. Strike Witches/Brave Witches are one of my favorite anime of all time. Despite that Ecchi tag, I don't think we are going to see so much fanservice here. Sure, I might be wrong, but BW also had pretty much zero of it. SW was much more lewd. |

| Now my heart is in peace seeing more World Witches series. Sadly is early morning, but my love is stronger. Wouldn't a war anime about music without "Amazing Grace". I'm impressed that Ginny wasn't recruited, seeing how Night Witches are rare. Now thinking about it, we never seen how the military kept the morale going, while fight beam shooting aliens. Almost forgot to add, the production really likes Mio, all those posters,that looks like Mio. |

| Pretty good first episode overall. The girls are cute (as are the familiars) and the music is pretty good (Amazing Grace in Japanese was, well, pretty amazing lol). Although I’m not too familiar with the series, I like what I see so far. Looks like the pilot was just setting up group, perhaps we’ll see them all together next week. I think I’ll be adding this to my weeklies. |

| While this is different from the other Witches series, I really like this one. Very curious about the take of this one. The Amazing Grace part was just beautiful, can't wait for the OST to be released to hear it more. |

| Amm it seems that this time it won't be an Ecchi Anime like the original strike Witches, then i will just skip watching it sadly. I have already an idol anime to watch this summer "love live superstar" strike Witches without panties, is not worth watching it at all |

They reduced the familiars in the series to save the budget. I like this element - it brings fun chaos originally maybe. that was in the original ova, which is non-canon. But bringing this concept back after this long is unusual. it would be like bringing back Launch from DB and making her Tien's love interest even though she hasn't been seen since the end of the original DB. |

| It baffles me how many people wanted panty shots in an anime that's seemingly about rehabilitation for war veterans. Really good premise and likeable characters. Glad I picked this up. The title's pretty weird though. Its like they wanted to hammer in the fact that there's flying involved. |

| I want the power of song to help me through the war; the war of the season that is, hehe. Comfy is the word I'd use to describe the first ep. Ginny being the main character, and the only Night Witch is a neat set-up. Looks as if the group's powers will revolve around her, for some time. |

| Not really sure how I feel about this anime, premise is interesting enough and I'm very curious about the familiar's. I'll probably give it 3 episodes to hook me but if not then guess it's just not for me :D Edit: Just found out this is a side story to another series, perhaps that's why I was a bot confused. Going to put this on hold watch the main series and then come back |

Maybe for someone it's enough just to have cute idols doing music things to call a show awesome, but I don't think that it's a good idea to transform an established franchise with established rules to another idol show №24535. But, if you looks at some of the comment above, a lot of them were complaining about the lacking of ecchi scenes not about the lacking of action scenes. Luminous Witches is also a music/idol anime from the start. You can look at its themes in its entry. There was no action in it. It also have some real life seiyuu contents, the same as other idol animes.
