| by no means is it the worst isekai, but for all the hype it gets i do i agree it really falls flat. all the characters besides the main crew are really intended to be foils, so i never really get invested in anyone since there's no real gray-scale or nuance. everything is black and white, good or evil, so it's really just a turn off ur brain watch also, that slavery business was really weirdly handled. in magi, morgiana keeping her chains was kinda symbolic of her being the master of her own self, but raftalia keeping her slave crest?? uhh kinda weird if the OP of the second season isn't amazing, i wont watch it |

| For me, it's just another generic isekai. However, it's well made, has a decent animation, and the main characters are at least fun to watch, so I give it a few extra points. it's the kind of anime that you should watch without expecting much, just keep in mind it won't revolutionize the Isekai genre, and you're set. I give it a low 8/10 but could be a solid 7/10. |

| During the very well-done first episode I was actually thinking if I've found another masterclass isekai that could rival even the likes of re:zero or mushoku tensei.... ...and then it kind of sucks and the dude proceeds to get carried through the whole season by an oversized chicken loli Perhaps it's my memory failing me but whenever he powers up and goes full rage mode or whatever, it feels like he gets nothing done. He kind of just stands there, super angry for a couple minutes, accomplishing nothing. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I literally went skimming for those scenes just now and stumbled across his rage scene in episode 20, where he literally just walks around angry before getting snapped out of it by his waifus A lot of people think this is good, or at least enjoy it, that's obvious with his popularity and pretty high score. For me, it's not downright bad, but incredibly "meh" indeed. It's but only maybe perhaps SLIGHTLY more polished than your average generic isekai. I'm still excited for S2 tho lol I just wanna see what happens |

Im so sad that this anime gets so much hate.. I think it's an easy and good watch. Or it's only me who has bad taste, but i personally enjoyed it and excited about it's second season. I don't understand why people see that everyone is bad and "we" are the good people (the main cast). While the story actually has a reason to hate the main mc and bad good people exited in every animes so i don't see why people so mad about this. Also there were "bad" people who turned out to be friendly.. so again I don't see nor understand the hate. Maybe I'm so obsessed or blind or i have a bad taste probably.. All i can say that i liked it and really appreciated it as it was like a time machine for me. That I could be a little kid again while watching this show. Maybe because it's for little kids, but I don't mind at all. I understand that you don't hate the show, i just didn't find a better word to describe my feelings on this. I hope you can finish the first season and maybe understand more over the second season.. if anything this anime deserve the chance 💕 Cheers |

| Until Naofumi’s problem got resolved it was very enjoyable, after that the show lost the thing that made it most interesting in the beginning, which was the revenge aspect, and then it turned into some generic power fantasy. |

| I am Isikai Fentesy Romance fan, so I like this show. it's got this much popularity because of its good adaption and good production. People should consider before say bad about a thing, in future you may like it. Ya i know some times Isikai can be trash. But all that depends on how creaters show the adoption and how fans take that by good way or bad way. Most of people do what most of people do because they don't want to separate, so don't be like this type of people. Give your own thoughts and feelings. | TC parroting Gigguk aside, I found it an above average isekai but does turn into your average isekai on the second half. A big one is Raphtalia becomes rather generic compared to her initial introduction, and kinda stays that way for a while as far as Ive read in the source material. Doesnt help that the action isnt really good either, or that they kind of butchered some characters. Can kinda blame the writing for the action being kinda meh so it needs the anime to pick up the slack. I really like the whole lore and mystery though. |

| Not the worst isekai out there but I remember it was pretty bad writing-wise. Not to mention I particularly hated how the author made everyone look like idiots for sole purpose of having MC and his group as the only ones with common sense. Not gonna lie, it was one of the worst anime I watched in 2019 but dear god was the OST heavenly. Kevin Penkin killing it once again. |

Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating.  |
