Well, it seems Lugh's father isn't exactly encouraging for his son when it comes to the role as an assassin.

A rather contrast is Lugh's relationship with both Tarte and Maha. The both of them supports him wherever he goes. Pretty standard episode with not much development. Tarte's feelings towards Lugh seems to be growing more and more though.

I gotta say Tarte is quite strong and really freaking adorable. We also got to see Maha's past in this episode. Maha is cute as well. But the years in this anime really be quick and Lugh went back to being Lugh from Irg Valor. And, once again Mom is the best girl in this show. LOL. Missed seeing her in this show. Glad to see her back.

But, I'd say Lugh needs to pick up the pace as there's not much time left before he has to finally go out for his true mission. No Dia this time around. Sadge... Other than that, my main concern is now Silver Link, the animation is very hit and miss sometimes or is it just me? The second half of the show is looking very tight compared to the first one. But, it's alright I guess. Can't complain too much. Maybe they're out of juice at this point.

Lugh's father didn't demand Lugh to become assassins, but like it or not Lugh had to become assassins, it was a contract he made with Megami. For some reason out of all the Heroines, Somehow I prefer Maha, rather than Tarte or Dia. I still can't understand with Tarte xD, as assassins maybe the knife fits its small size so it's easy to hide it. But maybe Tarte isn't very good with knives so Lugh ordered him to use the spear, even though it's a folding spear but I like how she hides it, lol. Under the skirt.

It was a story about a famous swordsman's son who was betrayed by his partner, it was sad enough that Lugh didn't end up like that. Claiming himself to be Lugh nii-san's assistant, Maha is really a good imouto. And also thanks for the present. Uwah, It's been two years, besides that Irg Valor is no longer in Murti. Is Maha and Lugh's moment of separation a highlight for this episode? I don't know, they talking about the trust of being an assistant or taking advantage of each other, which is clearly Maha glad to be able to help Lugh nii-san.As Maha's team, I'm glad the flag has flown, especially when Lugh said "Maha wa ore ni totte daijina imoutoda". That's good to hear that from Lugh.

And also Lugh nii-san the rest of my future life I will give to help you. Doesn't that sound like a proposal, huh? Uwooo Maha banzaiiiiii sayonara my knight :")

If it's not family love or friendship then what is it called? Are u fking kidding me Tarte, only Maha can have Lugh okay. Tadaima okaa-san.

So, it's finally time for Lugh to do his first official assassination. Overall, an ok episode, not so much happened

I was surprised when Lugh said he wants to marry Dia, I'm not sure if his feelings are real or not

Becoming an assassin to marry a girl, peak resolve. Thou joking aside it really takes a lot of resolve to become a Tuatha Dé assassin. Also it's time for his first mission, will we get to see it or will it be offscreen I wonder.

Looks like Lugh is back. And Illig is no more, or maybe just on standby.

Well I think we will be able to see him take on an assassination contract

No point in telling him now to stop being an assassin and live the other way around, as this way he won't be able to carry forward that command the goddess gave him before him being reincarnated as Lugh. So him refusing this was obvious.

Also that's quite a way to welcome your son, Mother.

Ok that was more of set-up episode for Lugh's first assassination mission.
The anime really had to drag one episode out if they were going to adapt only one volume in 12 episodes, seems like it was this one.

I found it weird that they didn't even show Lugh teaching magic to Maha, Tarte, and the other Balor son.

Also Lugh declaring his love for Dia lol, now its clear for everyone who has not noticed that he has a favorite girl and that is Dia.

We got more of Maha's backstory and her drive to reclaim her father's first store. Great father-son pep talk about Lugh's future and what his aspirations are. His confession for Dia THO

Overall satisfying conclusion for Maha's arc/Lugh's merchant training arc

And just like that, Illig Balor is no more and our boy has once again become Ken- I mean Lugh. Looks like Maha and the girls are going to be left behind in Malteu just like that, atleast they have a business to thrive to, and Maha could just whoop out some ass if they're threatened.

Lugh is undeterred and he will continue to live as an aristocrat assassin, and of course to kill out the brave. And because of that, he will get to assassinate a person for real in his second life, that will be nice. Also, what the hell, he fell in love to Dia, nani?!!! Well I guess, go for it, but I mean Tarte is there, she will kill just to be with you.

Maha is already waifu-tier material being trained under the Tuatha Dé assassin method, and the episode's opener proves it.

Leaving the girls to their own devices proves a lot for Lugh posing as Illig Balor, now with the Orna cosmetic business in Milteu. Apparently Maha's connections go deeper than her past allows, and the orphaned girls under Maha are grateful that he saved them from their captivity.

It's been 2 years, and Lugh and Tarte leave for home while Maha protects their Milteu base. Lugh's mind isn't all romance but fully dedicated to his assassin craft, and encountering some wolf monsters display the fruits of her training (which means that the time of the Hero is forthcoming soon). The usual welcome compliments from the folks, and Lugh's mom is the usual MILF in action.

Lugh's father Cian has a task for Lugh: comtinue to operate the Balor side of the merchant, or be a full-fledged Tuatha Dé assassinate. Choose one, and never look back. Since Lugh's hands haven't been stained by blood yet, he's still free to choose whatever he wants, and the life of the assassin he's chosen and prepared to live by instead of the slow life.

Heheh, Lugh has a Best Girl in his mind, and it has always been Dia from the very start. Time to become an aristocrat assassin, and go ahead with the assassinations to protect his happiness on his own volition.

The arc finally came to an end. I expected it to be a bit longer but they might be able to put the good stuff in this season. The mother really sniffed the fuck out of her own son after he came back home. She's the weird milf type. A serious conversation with his father which ended up with Lugh telling him that he wants to marry Dia. Thus, staying a Tuath is important. Going to miss Maha a lot but the anime made her sweeter which is something I didn't like too but it's alright. It was a great arc.

I thought that after the end of him living as merchant he will get information who is the hero...
When they got attacked and he said he sense mana so I expected some boss assassin maybe from hero side and not some puppies :/
He got all the girls from OP so what now? I think some random assassinations will be kinda boring...

Another good episode, so far I don't classify any episodes as bad.
I was in doubt whether Maha is really in love with Lugh or not because of the way she said goodbye, but my opinion is no.
It was possible to see in this episode that Maha and Tarte are already very strong and that they are already able to deal with several problems by themselves.
I was really surprised when Lugh said he was in love with Dia, I didn't expect him to tell his dad that way and even more so in this episode.
The next episode will probably already start focusing on the main theme of the anime, which I imagine is the murders, and I think maybe Lugh can find out who the Great Hero is.

When I saw the first episode of the anime, I thought Lugh's dad would be a very bad man and very annoying. Fortunately, he is just the opposite, a very good and fair father, who cares about his family and doesn't force anything on anyone who matters to him.

Damn man, So first off Maha should have KILLED the Hell out of those two robbers who were probably going to Rape them, especially since they are her family basically AND after the hell they've gone through. I would have killed them just for what they did, and then I would have killed them again just in case they didn't fear me enough and might go after the girls again out of revenge.

Also I am sooooooo bummed that Maha isn't with him now. Obviously we saw her with him in the opening episode so they work together again but I really love those two with Lugh. And especially with how badass she is, and how cool she looks on that assassin suit.

One of the best parts about having an older MC(mentally) is how Lugh is able to distinguish between love and admiration. When Tarte told him how Maha felt, so many MCs would’ve got bashful and started acting like little kids, he being older, was able to clearly discern that she was merely conflating admiration with love which happens a lot in these fantasy/isekai shows.

Really great writing there. Solid episode and can’t wait to see how things turn out now that lugh is fully committed to the assassin mission.

Here, nobility will officially go to school from the age of 14 (age 14 is the age of majority). As for the basic knowledge, there will be a private tutor to teach (similar to how Lugh was taught magic). Ss2 will be related to school.

Man I really wanted him to have a Harem but I guess it did seem like he was more interested in Dia. I really hope that works out and that not only those two but also Tarte and Maha end up happy as well. Like a situation where Dia says "polygamy is legal here, I love you and you love them and I wouldn't want you to leave them behind" or some BS that some Anime wives would say that no real woman(or anyone who isn't the 1% that's down for Polygamy) would say.

Also I really hope that you he opening episode happens in episode 10. Because in episode 9 we are going to see that guy who's dealing with drugs and I really don't want to have that opening episode thing happen in the Finale since we already know how it'll turn out(mostly).

Like we know they are captured or pretend captured, then they bust out and fight all those people while Lugh is sniping. So I really hope that we get something better than something we've already seen half of in the finale.. Also really hope we get multiple seasons, although I wonder if we could get a S2 right now having only 6 volumes of the LN(and I feel like the Illig Balor stuff probably took awhile in the LN compared to the short time it lasted on the Anime)

Maha's timing sure was impeccable. That display showed well how much she had grown in combat ability. Still Maha still ended up stumbling into her unknown past though with her scouting of a new location for Orna. Maha's friends gift though was a nice gesture. Even though it was unplanned Lugh's actions really do well to affect those around him. In the end the mission turned out to be far more successful than anyone could have anticipated with Lugh gaining not only valuable experience but another ally as well. Lugh's father sure dropped one hell of a bombshell though in a new path that Lugh can take if he wants. Still to resolve to remain as an assassin that nonetheless follows his own path is just what i expected from him. Looking forward to seeing his first actual mission next week.

Anyway... the anime so far is becoming less and less of the "Assassin concept". But we're finally getting some assassin scenes, in the next episode hopefully...

Maha is a good girl but out of the main 3 girls (Dia and Talt) she'd be in the bottom which is unfortunate. Her "development" was very stiff.

Lugh's father is a good man I'm glad to see that. He doesn't want to force his son into assassination and always kept the open mindset of giving him freedom just in case. He could tell his son to leave assassination guilt-free probably if he wasn't a reincarnated assassin with extra plug-ins given by a deity. Speaking of that I missed the goddess this episode. But glad to see Lugh's mother xD

I wonder if Lugh actually loves Dia? That revelation kinda came out of left field. There didn't seem to be any romantic development between them except they slept together in the same bed as kids which doesn't exactly count.

I think the interesting idea here is that his train of thought is correct but the conclusion is wrong.
Maha really does love Lugh !!

Tarte knows this because she also really does love Lugh.

I didn’t like this episode at all. It’s clearly the contentstretcher of the season but pretty much all the dialogue’s just isekai platitudes and overexplaining needless things. It felt like your average isekai which I disapprove of since the show’s managed to set itself apart and keep it that way until this episode. I don’t mind one episode out of twelve falling flat but I still think there is dialogue you can have here that introduces new things rather than rehashing what’s already established for over half the episode.
Like there’s a sidestory about the Noble that was buying the girls that could have been in this episode for a bit more oomph and cutting back on the very shallow dialogue to end the Milteau arc on. (Honestly wanted that on screen since the first episode of the arc was just really dark)

I’m still very excited about the show though, it’s my second favourite to 86 this season. This episode just didn’t check any of the boxes needed for a good episode for me.

Great episode! Lugh leaves his life as Illig Balor behind and returns back home to where his mother sniffs him xD and it also seems that his father doesn't exactly want Lugh to only have the option as life as an assassin. Lugh says he will continue to be an assassin because he wants to as well as the fact that he is in love with Dia...

Looking forward to the next episode!

Once again nothing really happens in this episode except Lugh finally comes home after two years of pretending to be an aristocrat. It seems that Lugh is committed to being an assassin even though his father tried to talk him out of it. Only this time he is doing it because he has to rather than blindly follow orders which got him killed in the previous life. I still don't buy that Lugh is marrying out of love because he still needs her to help with making spells not to mention that she's the daughter of a noble.

they are, since marrying her will have no benefit on his assassination job he chose it regardless meaning it's real, he has the feels for her and that's good, now we know he's a human with a heart capable of loving not just doing the job and killing in cold blood.

Hmm, I like that everything's dandy and all but the girls didn't even get a self defense lesson to be able to protect themselves from some old farts? They were unable to do anything and they were simply pushed down. That's a simple detail left out but an important one that could affect Maha if one day they are caught again.

It seems that they want to make Lugh an all knowing being but he still can't understand love, they should've made Tarte disagree with him there and explain why his perception of Maha's feelings is wrong. Love can flourish from all kinds of scenarios, getting your life saved from someone is one of them.

His confession of love was anticlimactic, no sense of emotion besides a sense of justice and warriness towards his enemies. I also kind of feel bad for the other girls, Tarte was with him longer than any of the girls and she won't even get a chance at a date.

For an anime that has also the genres of Action and Romance, it's lacking surpsingly well on both. Very small scenes with him just helping his father with his kills or 5 second assasinations scenes, and there isn't plenty of them either, did it even last 2 episodes?

Yeah, there's probably more things to critique but I don't want to reduce my enjoyment of the series, even though that would be a lie, Tarte's badoonkers and Maha's tight suite could wake me up anytime with ease.

That's the wrong way round, he's been acting as a merchant (a commoner) he is already from a noble house.
