| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Just watched the raw of the first episode, and it was pretty good. (I've read the manga chapters that were adopted into this episode, so I knew what's going on) The animation is pretty good, the show airs in HD, the character designs and the voices are the same as in the first series. I liked the opening and the ending too, but the OP is better IMO. (The first OP of the first series is still better :)) Of course, I will rewatch it with subs too, it's one of my favorite shows after all. |

If I didn't watch the first season I would not have hated it with a passion and rant about it in the first place, wouldn't I? I didn't watch the entire first season I admit, but I did watch the first 3-4 episodes of it. I just couldn't bare the corny dialogue (especially in the first episode) and the shitty unoriginal plot so I just dropped it. I watched this episode because everybody was constantly saying how much this season will be awesome and whatnot. I also checked this out because this replaced my Durarara episode 13 (the audacity of people these days) so I wanted to see what was all this fuss about. I check it out and have to say it looks horrible. When they sub this episode it will be worse because of the dialogue. P.S: The fanbase of this anime sucks. Everytime somebody says they hate this series, the fans say some retarded crap like "You're trolling" or "You're insane" or "You never watched the 1st season" or "This anime won some awards so it's good" etc... |

I already know what anime I hated and dropped, so I don't need a list reminding me. As much as I love Narita's work, unlike people like you, I enjoy most of the genre, and this anime is one of the best sports anime ever. So just shut up and wait another week for my Durarara!! On Topic: The episode was okay, reminds me how it started slowly in season 1. The first 5-6 episodes were kinda okay, then it started to get better and better and the way it finished, i was since longing for this second season. This anime will getter better and better, can't wait for MOAR. |

| And we're off to a great start! I was really missing the series~ I saw some clips of it in the background of xxxholic, it made me really miss ofuri! So I saw this on tv but I wasn't paying very close attention~ Its a little slow but it was in season one too? I'm loving the music too, but I wish ozaki was a better singer~ Maybe the second op will be better? ikimono gakari saved us from baseball bear's noise last season~ youth line>summer sky I never got into durarara, but it was obviously rescheduled for another time, just search it and watch it then |

| I was looking everywhere for the raw the whole day and was extremely excited when I finally found it :D I really loved how they slowly re-introduced all of the characters and they didn't just focus on Mihashi :P I can't wait to see the whole team to play again, I haven't read the manga yet so...bring on the excitement! As for Rail_Tracer, as much as I love to hear about other people's opinions, whether it's negative or positive - I can't stand it when people just spew out biased hatred when they haven't even watched all the episodes of a series. I mean, it's one thing that you don't like the anime, it's understandable because people have different tastes. But it's a bit ridiculous to brand a series to be "sucky" when you haven't even seen the whole thing. Oh and just because "other people are doing it", it really doesn't justify your trolling. As a friend of mine always say, two wrongs doesn't make a right. |

| ohohohohohohohhhhhhhh~~ X333 for now i still like both openings of the first season better, but i really love love love the animation for natsuzora~ love how the animation team use pictures of tankobon covers and bring them to life <333 and i m so happy that they kept all seiyuu from season one. style of the animation didnt change which means GREAT and i cant wait for next episode! XD |

You're commenting on an episode despite not knowing Japanese and judging a series like that? Oh boy. What didn't you like about it? The character designs? Well, that's personal taste, so alright. Or was it the animation and direction? Nah, that can't it. Oofuri is very well animated and anyone with a brain would tell you so. So uh... what's left? Oh, I know, the slight bit of story you "got" from characters talking about shit you OBVIOUSLY DIDN'T UNDERSTAND. Phew! Not to mention "watching 3 episodes of S1 and then jumping to the first episode of S2 which takes place after the ending of S1" while hoping to enjoy this is p. dumb. --- I never got into durarara, but it was obviously rescheduled for another time, just search it and watch it then No, there's no Durarara!! this week. Oofuri aired on its timeslot. Next week it'll be back to normal, Durarara!! will air at 25:50 and Oofuri will take the timeslot right after it. --- As for the first episode, it was an alright start. I quite like the OP, it has that certain Oofuri feel to it, plus some great animation bits. Can't help but smile at that scene with Momokan walking. I also though it was pretty funny when the other guy was asking about Nishiura to our old catcher friend and when confronted with the question about their coach all he can muster up to talk about is how cute Momokan is and her rack, haha. Oh, and the football scene was great, too. Perfect play between Mihashi and Tajima, and I just cracked up when Mihashi gets up all happy after Tajima congratulates him, lolol. |

| Good question. I expected Central-Anime to release it yesterday, but still nothing. They sure are taking their time, even tough their Cross Game releases were pretty fast. Well, first episodes usually take more time to finish (karaoke, etc), and I hope that the further episodes will be released a bit faster. The other group that will do it is Saizen. Well, their subs are usually very good, but they are really slow, so I don't expect their release anytime soon. |

| We can wait, and we understand that real life is still more important than fansubbing, so I don't see any problem with it. After all, the all that matters is to get a quality fansub in the end, even if it takes a bit more time. |

I'm estatic because of everything I see in this episode. The plot tries to be pure and doesn't aim too hard at targetting a specific audience or anime fandom. The color settings are even more bright and vivid than in the first season 3 years ago. The character designs and the consistency with them seem much more aestitically pleasing to look at (no offense against the manga artist at all). And the animation especially improved several fold from the opening to the rest of the episode itself. However the downside of all this is that Funimation has made it very clear that they don't want anymore to do with this series, and I honestly don't blame them. Still, it feels like a really spectacular series that nowhere near enough people know exists. |

| We're starting exactly where the first season left and even if I follow the manga, it's always great to get some more Oofuri animated, especially this well. I don't understand how A1-Pictures can craft such a fantastic show and then fuck up on most of their other series (Kannagi, Sora no Woto, Valkyria Chronicles, Shitty Tail...). Oh, and Central Anime plus Oofuri is a great combination. |

| Happy that a sub was finally released. I was lost for a moment since it has been a while since I watched the first season . . . but I figured things out. I can't say I love it, as it was slow and a little choppy. But I still got the same feel as I did in the first season. |

| Woo hoo! Now that I have no more Kou and Azuma, I can go back to where it all started: Abe and Ren! It's a shame I don't remember what happened during the first season well enough to totally get what all went on in this episode, but by the end, I was slowly being filled back in. I was most confused by the two guys in the family restaurant, and Riou at the beginning. Everything else seemed to be really straight forward. Can't wait for episode 2. |
