| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- A hell of a fight this episode! Sasuke and Naruto the dream team vs Jigen. We got to see Shadow Clones, Chakra Receivers, Rasengan, and all those classic stuff. Definitely my favorite episode of this arc with the high level techniques. Jigen is absoutely no pushover when it comes to his abilities, and probably ranks among some of the strongest characters in this series. |

| Oh boy... Naruto and Sasuke taking on Jigen like that were so fun to watch. The animation really didn't disappoint this time around. They did a pretty good job with that. Other than that, Jigen is too strong for both of them right now. Even working together, Naruto and Sasuke couldn't defeat him. So many great moves were used in the episode really brought back memories. For now, Naruto sent Sasuke back to the village injured whereas he himself is sealed away by Jigen. But, his intentions are clear, the kids. He's really a big threat to all of the village. One of the best episodes of the whole series so far. Jigen is also feeling the effects on his vessel because of the fight. |

| Aaah that fight was so amazing and the animation too. It was nice to see Naruto and Sasuke in their Strong forms along with all the other powers. Naruto sent Sasuke back and Jigen left him in something that looked like a Japanese noodle bowl to me. Also, I think Kawaki's hand falling(Which works with Naruto's chakra might cause a misunderstanding.. Overall amazing episode ^^ |

| Pretty obv that they couldn't beat Jigen, man is one of the strongest characters in the anime. But it was an amazing fight. Got some 65 eps vibes. Naruto sealed and Sasuke injured.. the next fight will be even better. F for subtitles |

| God, this fight didn't disappoint me, especially the second part, it wasn't bad at all Now giant problem, Naruto, the strongest ninja is sealed, at least they've been able to wear down Jigen's body 0.0 |
| Boruto has always shit on Naruto and Sasuke I'm surprised the author keeps them alive at this point since they are so useless. |
| Naruto and Sasuke fought so well against jigen until the last, but he is too strong. Sasuke has escaped with the rinnegan and naruto has sealed. Jigen was already more an otsutsuki than a human and his vessel is about to die no stamina. The preview for the next episode iwas nice i can’t wait so long. 9/10 for the fight props to pierrot. |

| Knowing Naruto and Sasuke are the two strongest ninja's, I sure as hell didn't expect their cheeks to be clapped by Jigen with such ease (although every Otsutsuki has been quite the large threat), still great fight. |

| I love reading the comment section after watching an episode like this to see how many people are bitching about Naruto and Sasuke being nerfed lol. It isn't even really so much that they're weaker, Jigen is literally just that strong. Plus he's an unfamiliar opponent, and he can absorb jutsu so that puts some limits on what Naruto and Sasuke can do. But people expect them to just wash Jigen on the first try like he's nothing lmao. Anyway, great fight and the animation was clean. Jigen is no joke. |

| But it is clear as day that Sasuke and Naruto are not on their prime anymore otherwise things might end up differently. And lol Jigen dragging his decision to kill Naruto....seems like Naruto still had some plot armor with him... |
| This was probably the best episode of this anime yet. Jigen was definitely too much for the hokage and sasuke right now. Looking back at the Momoshiki fight earlier in the series, they definitely seemed more confident and on top of their game, having an answer for anything Momo could dish out. Jigen on the other hand seemed to have them stumped and they weren't looking as mighty, almost as though they were afraid of losing. We'll have to wait and see if they have an answer for this resounding defeat in the coming episodes. |

| damn.. superb episode even story-wise. GOD DAMN I JUST LOVE WHEN GREAT DIRECTING AND ANIMATION ELEVATES GOOD STORY I love animation. Naruto telling Sasuke to leave him behind and escape got me emotional. Also, Kawaki's prosthetic falling off.. damn. The fighting animation was super solid but the character animation and the acting animation were incredible. You could actually see and feel every word they said because of how detailed the facial expressions were. Thank you animation staff! |

| This is the episode I was waiting for a long time. Great to see Naruto and Sasuke in action but Jigen is very powerful (obviously because he is an otsutsuki vessel). Naruto is sealed and it is not good. I hope Sasuke will be in good condition soon. |
| Holy hell! Studio Pierrot really nailed this fight, I'm satisfied with how it went. The choreography was amazing, The fight felt so seamless and fluid. 10/10 for the episode. I cant wait for the coming episodes because we have even better stuff lined up! |

| really good episode with this fight :D It's sad this anime is a long anime because if it was seasonal, it would be better without all those fillers we had until now and it will have less bad comments about it. When they are following the manga it's really cool but when it's fillers.... it's really long and for the big majority annoying We have to enjoy it until the return of those damn fillers ^^ |

| With the previous episodes, I thought that they were copypasting Shippuden and replacing Jiraya with Sasuke but it's finally Naruto who ends up out of the loop. On the contrary with most, I don't think the battle is well rendered. Once again, the Kurama Chakra Mode is no more than a flat yellow recolour with orange contours and black lines. Susanoo and Kurama are slow as hell and appear as useless chakra consumption not able to hit even once. This is especially bad as, at the end of the fight, Sasuke is low on chakra. Finally, the Multiple Shadow Clone technique also looks weird as there is never more than one clone attacking at the same time. Jigen even has enough room to make multiple swings of his rod and never appeared to be pressured. The explanations on not killing Naruto are also wonked as sealing him, and moving this huge coffin cover, seems a lot more difficult that killing him after he has been incapacited. This also lead me to the main question : why does Jigen never use his rods on vital part ? |
| Was good episode obvious Jigen is stronger! But it didnt fell like an all out for me from Naruto and Sasuke! I wonder where is Naruto's Six Paths Sage Mode and RasenShuriken! |

| Magnificent, on the first half it looks like Naruto and Sasuke have upper hand but the second half really shows Jigen full power. The fighting animation so amazing. I think I will definitely rewatch few times and a lot more with 0.5x speed to catch all the details. Kudos to all seiyuus, as expected of legendary voice actors. When Naruto told Sasuke to escape it got me teary. Also, Kawaki got so fired up with Naruto being taken away, my boy (ToT) Looking forward to see how the story will go, from the preview, Sasuke returned to the village and is being healed by Sakura. I can't guess how they're going to rescue Naruto. We might be able to see Boruto and Kawaki fighting together? God, this ep left so much to think. Now how are we gonna survive till next week? I don't think I can. |
