| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Dang, these horse girls have a lot of publicity. Poor Special Week, she's not used to being in the spotlight. The episode's first half was rather silly with the food stealing lul. That trainer guy should also keep his hands off of the girls if he doesn't want to get a kick to the face. Special Week is going up against some tough competition again this week. That was actually quite intense between Special Week and El Condor Pasa. |

| So it ended it a draw but from the looks of it Special week still needs some training compared to El Condor Pasa who didn't seem to be at her max yet but that could have been me. And another new member joins the crew the question is what will her performance be. |

| Gold Ship really knew how to fake tears to get Mcqueen to join Spica. That explains the drink with condiment switch in the opening. The trainer couldn't keep his hands of Mcqueen; at least he knows where the goods are. Spe-chan and El-chan had much more fun than they usually do. Friendly competition is great sometimes, even if you only tie. They both surpassed their limits and it led to an exciting race |

| Yes. I finally McQueen. It just fun seeing Gold Ship trolling her and get her eyes stab many times. Its obvious she'll be joining team Spica soon. The derby was intense especially between El Condor Pasa and Spe-chan. I did not expect it'll be a double win. But it was so close, I was at the edge of my seat. And Spe chan finally beat Seiun Sky. I really want Spe to beat her and I'm glad she did. That was intense and really fun. |

| Oh man, loved the episode. The interplay between McQueen and Gold Ship was pretty funny. Was worried at first that they'd break the race itself into two episodes like they would in most sports anime, but glad it was in this episode. I like how they did the race, and am a little relieved the way it ended. |

| All the same I was right that the Trainer is that element that did not give gayness to develop in this title. Once we got the episode almost without him, the amount of yuri hints increased noticeably. Well, it was on time, so I started to worry, considering the origin of this show. |

| That was very intense! Really enjoyed this episode. Damn, you could hear the crowd there, it was cool how I struggled to hear some of what the characters said due to all the other noise tbh, it felt like being there. |

| That race had me on the edge of my seat. I almost cried. This anime is one of my favorites this season so far, which is a pleasant surprise because I didn't expect it at all. That goes to show that you can't judge anything too soon. |

| Now that race was the definition of HYPE! =) It's not surprising that the Japanese Derby is a big race for all of the competitors, but it certainly wowed me easily. Special Week showed just how much her training paid off as she tore past Seiun Sky like it was nothing. However, El Condor Pasa gave her one hell of a final showdown towards the finish line at the end. I predicted that the result would go to a photo finish, but I was sure that there would be only one winner. I'm glad that I got my other prediction wrong as both girls finished at exactly the same time, hence a dead heat. Both are deserving winners after all, with El Condor Pasa keeping her 100% winning streak and Special Week properly cementing her growing popularity. Also, a small mention should go to the unlucky Gold Ship. She did her best to recruit McQueen, and inflicted pain to her left eye three times via hot mustard, eraser and her own chopsticks. To be honest, her scenes with McQueen was bloody hilarious. XD |
| Somehow McQueen still has her left eye after all of that. That trainer never learns, he keeps feeling the girls legs, well I guess it's good comic relief. I think the trainer didn't want to tell Special Week she beat the 40 second mark so that she would keep pushing herself. All right it's time for the big race, so even El Condor Paso and her trainer get nervous and scared as well. Wow a dead heat, it did look like it when they used slow motion at the finish, what a race that was, very exciting to watch. Very good episode, looking forward to the next one. |

| That trainer sure loves to be kicked by the girls after touching their legs. That race was so intense between Special Week & El Condor Pasa. I am loving it more and more with each episode coming. |

| The first half had some decent comedy filler, and the race itself was handled very well. Also at this point I'm starting to think I'm not just imagining the Yuri moments. Special Week seems to be quite conscious of other horse girls she finds attractive, and it was one of the first things she mentioned about Silence back in the first episode, and Silence herself never seems to take her eyes off Special Week. I've been dismissing it all so far as I started with this one right after finishing Citrus, but they may be something to it. Or maybe not.. either way it's all good as long as there's no drama |

| That was one heckin' intense and amazing episode, hands down! Especially those final moments of the competition got me on the edge of my seat! Loved it! Didn't see that tie coming at all, and Gold Ship's comedic moments were absolutely hilarious as well XD. |

| Good points this episode: - much needed characterization for Gold Ship - McQueen is finally in. - Exactly what you want from a sport anime: training scene, motivation, competition. Bad points: - Spe should have won. Reason: she has that clover book holder. Pull that out and win it with that lol. I expect the book cover to have importance later on the series. - They could have done more with King Halo. - Now Suzuka can live -_- It's PA. If you watch PA shows, you expect intense drama, regardless of the genre. So please give us intense drama. |

Draw felt like a cop out. I guess I am okay with it but a tie for first is not winning. Sorry. Gold Ship crying had me cracking up. Great job by the VA. I'm liking her more each week. This week she especially caught my EYE. |

| Pretty damn fun episode, I'm really liking this weird thing so far, the characters are so well designed according to their personality and the races have been really well done, lets wait on how it turns out as a whole. Poor Seiun Sky, she wasn't even the third place :( |

| Another fine episode..I thought Spe-chan was going to lose, glad she managed to make it a tie! It's really nice to have good friends, everyone in team Spica is very supportive. I actually watched this episode 3 times today. :D |

| Who the heck was performing with spec week and el pasa. She had a good start of the but then got passed by all the major players. Somehow while everyone was focused on the photo finish, she managed to cause an upset and come 3rd/2nd. Secret boss? |
