Lol getting hit by that ball must hurt like shit.

Thought the episode was kinda rough for some of the players. The intense training helps them build their stamina but also if they can endure it. Decent buildup episode, hope to see more competitive rugby matches soon.

This episode was amazing in a completely different way compared to the last, Seriously this was an excellent training episode.

So Jinko have been practicing without a coach for the past years, They probably never knew what proper coaching was.
The new coach was harsh yes, but he did a great job in pointing out the huge number of faults in the team and their approach to rugby. They didn't even know the rules completely. (I can learn with them now as well :D)
Loved that little scrimmage between Gion and Raita Vs Sekizan and Iwashimizu, Coach managed to convey the message that they were appraoching rugby wrong really well. Really liking Komori coach.

It was nice that Sekizan felt happy having been coached for real for the first time ever.
Second half training was grueling but it was really nice to watch.
Coach was savage when he asked the front men to carry Sekizan. XD

Nice little speech from Mustsumi about filling in for the things others lack.

Loved the ending with Sekizan and the Mutsumi asking when the team should report the next day. :D

I'm glad they got themselves a proper coach!

I was so hyped when Gion tackled Tree Trunk... Too bad he still scored thanks to his height. That was so unfair, lol.

Really impressed with this episode. Episodes before this had epic moments here and there, but it was missing something... a couch :P Jokes aside, I was worried All Out would turn into a substances-less sports anime, where you would turn off your mind and watch large sweaty men slam each other into the ground. Love these training episodes, makes me want to get up and tackle someone. Hopefully things get even better from here :D

This new coach sure doesn't fuck around. I can't wait to see how these guys improve with this guy guiding them.
People on MAL refuse to actually enjoy watching anime.

Your taste in anime isn't a personality trait.

MAL is literally just anime Twitter as its own website lol.

This episode was really amazing. Now that they finally have a proper coach I wanna see how will the team develop!
It was really good to see how Sekizan accepted that he wasn't right and hopefully from now on he will become a better captain!

A coach that is strict, serious and to-the-point, Komori-san is an outstanding add to the show in my opinion. I wish I had someone that harsh and demanding, not only in rugby but also for other stuff. It makes you love things even more and sets the oroper foundations for self-growth.

I liked this episode a lot.

* I didn't think Sekizan could make such a disappointed face.
* Komori-san doesn't have a very likable disposition, but it can't be denied that he knows his stuff.
* I think I'm developing a 2D crush on Mutsumi now.

IKR his such a sweet-heart i cant even... I really need to find a friend like him.
hope we get more development on him

WOW this ep was amazing in every aspect.
Character interactions are so much fun, i thought that only Gion was gonna be entertaining. Sassy guy getting owned at the end of the training was gold.
The coach is so epic i cant even describe it.I know that his type is nothing original but there is something much more to him.
Sekizan showing emotions was so sweet i got diabetes.
Even tho this was a training episode it was intense the whole time.

Glad that he showed up bec it felt like all the training they were doing till now was too simple.

Well? Doesn't it look like an actual sports anime now? Ofc it does. Without Komori-san this would've get nowhere. But boy, that old man is badass. Just watch how he gonna make the team stronger. I'm also glad Sekizan is happy over the fact that such guy is advising them. He gave 'em a nice training alright. Sekizan already shows a high respect towards him I see.

Ok, so...This is just how far the manga is translated in english so far; the updates come a bit slow; I still haven't checked the raws tho.

Well it can't be helped really, with the standard watch 3 episodes and judge it.
I mean I only stuck with it through the first 2 episodes because I play the game for 8 years but it's really started to improve with the game, the treetruck starting to find his balls and the midget main guy going annoying loudmouth with a chip on his shoulder to someone finding their passion. Also old school badass coach turning added another element. Reminds of my old forwards coach screaming get square you fucks during scrumming training

Dam totally unexpecting but I actually felt that hate introduction of the coach made the anime 10x times. Like all the practices we've seen weren't that interesting and felt like a real lesson but Komori-San (soon to be Coach) changed the flow! Like gj Gion for getting him. This coach knows his stuff!

Don't really have much to say on this episode.

Coach is awesome, and that is not how I was expecting him to be introduced. I actually thought that the headbutt try was a knock-on too, but apparently it's not. How 'bout that. It's kind of annoying me that Crunchyroll is localising the Rugby terms. A Dummy is a Dummy, not a fake-out. I thought it was hilarious the hooker and fly-half interactions this episode, that number 10 is a textbook prissy little backline player.

Coaches <3 Good teacher-archetypes do wonders for action/sports anime (i.e. good as in they aren't just a plot device for the occasional ep after roadblocks and otherwise fade into the background, hopefully this guy won't be). Keeps the structured improvement/progression more apparent and at the forefront.

I really liked this episode. This is one of the few sports mangas I haven't read while watching the anime, so I do not know what will happen later on.

I like this coach. I mean who would seriously take their retirement time to actually respond to an unknown email and coach a nameless team? haha I wish it was this easy to get such a highly valued coach.

The team trained without an advisor or coach for three years so of course they'll feel pressured and upset. But this episode was really the best episode so far. I felt it was actually worthwhile. Can't wait to see how the newly trained team will become :)

Finally, the workout stop carelessly, and start to get serious, with the help of a true leader, it was binding to this narrative passage, but it should be remembered. Storytelling quite interesting, it bares a bit of rugby, but very little, but the main narrative about, is to show a further growth of the characters. The coach, looked like a freak at first but seems to have a lot of charisma and knows his stuff.

Really great episode, probably the best so far. I already liked the coach, when i first saw him in the opening. He just has an aura, that is pretty great and u could see, he would bring a lot to the team. I was wondering this episode too, when i watched the Opening, when this coach is gonna come. And then i saw him in the Sponsoring screen, after the opening, and i was sure, he would come this episode. And then he came.

I really liked this progress and also, that most of the characters from the team are willing to train so much. I know it from other sports anime, that some people give up early, if the training gets so hard in an instant, but here they seem to do fine. Not sure about the co-captain yet, but we will see. I hope it continues as good as this.

Average but just entertaining enough to keep my attention. Maybe having watched and followed a lot of rugby gives me a bit of bias. Likely.

Most accurate depiction of a fly half ever. For anyone wondering, dropping the first pass off a scrum is a mortal sin. It's the most god damn basic error anyone could do. Just don't do it.
