| The streets of the North District are beatiful and clean. They are the pride of the North District, where most of the rich families live. While walking on the North District Streets, you will notice that there are almost no convinience stores or any stores at all. Most of the area is covered with either aparments complexes or mansions of the richest families. You can go to any area of the city from here, except the South, since you'll need to go through the Central District. |

| Somewhere in the distance close to the Sunrise Piers a gentle piece of music could be heard, a beautiful Ave Maria filled with emotion played on a violin. Shinju, the preformer, placed the violin back to it's case after finishing and gazed into the distance, remembering the time when she used to preform the Ave Maria in a duet with her brother. Recalling such memory almost made her cry, but instead she faintly smiled and closed her eyes as she went back to the main street and continued her way toward school. As she got closer to getting to school, more and more fellow students from her highschool are seen on the way. Their awing and admiring eyes followed her. Anyone she would look back at would either look down, walk forward in haste, or just freeze still. After all, Shinju's big and bright aqua-blue eyes made it hard to directly make eye contact with sometimes. |

| Aouli woke up to the abrupt yet familiar sound of his alarm clock. As always when it would chime, it displayed 0500. He didn't immediately get up for he was still quite sleepy. He let out a long yawn and blinked his eye's several times to fight back the water. Then did his morning bed stretches as far as he could. Enjoying the feeling of it as his bones crackled. After he got to the farthest he could reach he relaxed and sprawled out on his bed. It was at this point he had to make a decision. Go to school with the boring classes and annoying students. Or the alternative of helping his father out today with the fishing. It seemed like an easy choice but he knew his parents really wanted him to get an education. He was about to get his regular clothes for school ,eat some breakfast and make the long walk down there. This however didn't happen as he overheard his father. "Ughh damn, backs killing me today" That was all it took to change his mind and he got ready to go fishing. As he did this he could smell breakfast being prepared. He knew it would probably be the same thing his father had yesterday, which he would be correct. Steamed rice, boiled fish,tsukemono, and nori. He ate it without complaint as he would need the energy for the day. His mother was no where to be found at the table. This was normal as she preferred to sleep and not be up at 5:30 in the morning. After eating and cleaning up he accompanied his father outside. They walked out to pier 1 where their boat was. Aouli could see the sun raising it's head up in the sky, just barely past sunrise. The colors it produced on the water were beautiful, along with the cool sea breeze that blew against his face. Before they left his father turned to him and said. "Promise me you'll attend school tomorrow." Without thought or hesitation Aouli just nodded in approval. Smiling his father said "Good, now let's gets some big catches today!". |

| It had be a long and strenuous day. Out on the sea with nothing but the waves and occasional seagull to keep them company. Though as easy as it was to just take a nap on the boat Aouli couldn't. He was constantly moving around equipment and assisting with the fishing. There were occasions when he would have 15-20 minutes of rest but only that. Lunch had been leftovers from yesterdays dinner. They weren't all that appealing but they satisfied his hunger. He was honestly glad he could spare his father from all this work. No telling what it would have done on his bad back today. Though he wouldn't be able to help tomorrow so he put everything he could into it today. They got a larger than normal quota which was nice. He could go to school tomorrow knowing his dad wouldn't have to work so hard to meet ends. Though the thought of school tomorrow didn't please him in the least. As they neared Pier 1 to dock and hopefully go eat warm dinner. He thought about what he would have to deal with tomorrow. Most students there would leave him alone unless forcefully paired with him. He wondered how many actually even noticed he was gone today. Or for that matter who cared at all. "Oh well, guess it doesn't matter" he thought. As they got nearer to the Pier he got ready to tie their boat to it. (Not sure the rules of posting, though it's been 9 hours since I last posted. Won't post any further till school's let out.) |

| As they docked Aouli tied the boat to the pier. He then helped his father with unloading the boat and cleaning it. Afterwords they both headed toward the house to get some warm dinner. His father was ahead and as he opened the door. The aroma's of freshly cooked food hit their faces. Though many in number he could distinguish them apart. Rice, Tato, Miso soup, Laulau and Chantilly cake. His mouth was watering as he made his way to the table. Everything was good except for the Chantilly cake. Which was amazing and beyond description. Apparently his mother was in a good mood today as she rarely fixed it. Afterwords he helped with the dishes and headed upstairs. He then got a book he had been meaning to finish and sprawled out to read it. It was a book about first aid which was very detailed. It gave details of what to do with certain wounds and such. How the first aid assisted in stopping further damage from said wound. He found it interesting how they worked and how people had developed these techniques. He reminded himself to check the library at school tomorrow to see if they had any books on first aid history. Then continued to read his book with great interest. |

| Aouli woke up at his usual 0500. Doing his morning bed stretches getting reading for the day. He searched around trying to find his school uniform but after about 20 minutes he gave up. He then proceeded to go down the stairs but something was odd. There was a defining silence throughout the house. "Is no one up yet?" he thought. Usually at this time his dad would be up and making breakfast. Making his way into the kitchen he froze solid. Laying on the table was a limp bloody figure. It took him a second but he realized it was his father! Running over he checked his pulse, nothing.... He was on the verge of a mental breakdown when all of a sudden. "BZZZZZZZZ" Jerking his eye's open, he was breathing heavily and sweating slightly. "A dream..." He thought. Reaching over he turned the alarm off and sat up. After sitting there awhile he heard his dad's usual sounds as he got up to go make breakfast. With a sigh of relief he began his morning stretches. He could feel his body was stiff from the work yesterday. After finishing he tried searching for his uniform. A good 20 minutes passed and he had seen no sign of it. Along with this a slight terror filled him. Not because he wouldn't have it for school, but because of the nightmare he had just witnessed. Putting on some comfortable casual clothes he headed down the stairs. Hearing commotion in the kitchen still and the smells coming from it the slight terror earlier passed. Entering and saying "Good morning" to his father he smiled and sat down. After finishing breakfast and helping with the dishes he headed for the front door."Pay attention today" he heard behind me. Smirking he chuckled and said "I will". Grabbing his fishing pole he headed out. The sun had just past the horizon and was slowly making it's daily cycle. He made his way toward Shodo Tower, since that was the most direct path to school. |

| After walking awhile Aouli came upon his house. The sun had set already and the street lights were flickering to life. Knocking on the door he was greeted by his mothers joy and hugs. Then afterward by his fathers questions as to where he had been and why. After explaining the errands he had to run his fathers face softened. Though his mother soon noticed the cut in his hand and he had to make a quick lie where he tripped and sliced it on some glass down an alleyway. With enough reasoning behind it they believed it and didn't ask any further questions. He then made his way into the kitchen. The smell of food was still barely lingering from when dinner was cooked. He washed his hands along with the switchblade and handkerchief in soapy water. He thought about where the blade had been. Hopefully he wouldn't catch anything serious from the cut. Though it was a little late to worry about so he soon forgot it and focused on helping himself to leftovers. Afterwards he took a shower and went to his room. Here he began sharpening the blade as it was still dull. Using a whetrock he had snatched from a drawer downstairs he went to work. Moving the blade back and forth till he was satisfied with it. It wasn't long until he finished and was left with his thoughts. He laid down and started thinking of everything that had happened today and of the festival. Eventually sleepiness settled in and he complied. Turning on his side and closing his eye's, eventually falling asleep. |

| Awakening sweating and in a panic Aouli sat up. Hyperventilating slightly he tried to calm himself down. Though after that nightmare is was hard to at this point. He had the exact same nightmare as the night before. Father laying on the table dead, house empty and silent. He didn't know what to think, though he felt like he needed some fresh air. Looking at his alarm it showed 0230, he knew it was early to be out. There would probably be gang related activity and the sort. But despite this he had to clear his head before he would ever be able to get to sleep again. Silently he left his room and went downstairs. Creaking the front door open and locking it on his way out. The sun was no where to be found at this hour, but the street lights did well enough to light his way. He didn't have a specific location to walk to so he just chose a direction and started walking. After walking awhile he felt better than he had when he left. Though he was still hung on why he had that dream again. "Did it mean something or was it just a coincidence....?" Lost in this thought he continued to wander around the north district. |

| Up above on a crane the young boy from before watches for activity, seeing Aouli he pulls up his hand radio. "Scout one to Base over, civilian in the area approaching the yard, what do you want me to do over?" "Discribe, Copy." A reply comes back, the male from before, copy. "Aouli ehh? Keep an eye on that big bastard, his family docks arn't near here, let me know if he gets closer, Over and out." With that Takashi sighs a bit looking at his female compatriot who giggles a bit. "Maybe I should have drugged or raped him. Less troublesome that way, isn't it Sir?" Takashi nods yes to that and waits to see why he was here. Or more importantly if he had to keep him from here. |
| More lost in thought than he was when he began his walk. Aouli lost interest in the things surrounding him. He could have walked right through a street of traffic and not given it a thought. With his head slightly down, dazed to the world around him he continued walking into the yard. Almost running into things in front of him but stopping just before and walking around them. His mind was filled with the events of that.... night. The storm... the waves.....the boat.... His heart was pounding almost as fast as when he woke up. He didn't notice it but his pace had picked up and he was working up a light sweat. "It just has to be a coincidence damn it!" he tried telling himself to calm down. But it did little in the way to relax him as he strolled further into the yard. |

| The radio report comes in again, too close for comfort this time. Turning the radio off he says he'll take care of it. "Mia, come with me, he's still on us." With that the girl grins a bit ear to ear and spins a folder knife in her hands. "Can I rape him this time?" With a look on his face that seems to say really he shakes his head and sighs. "See if he's willing frist at least." With that the pair come out onto the street and meet him. "Ahh Hi Aouli funny meeting you here, we're going to have a coffee break, hell looks like you could use some, look like a damn zombie." Stepping up closer he whispers, "plus my co-worker there would like to get to know you some." |
| So lost to the world he doesn't even notice voices speaking to him. He stops before running into them but merely walks around them. Still in a daze, he seems as Takashi mentioned. A zombie walking around aimlessly unaware of anything except objects standing in his way. Though as he does this he can recall the noises of the waves. As they crashed against the boat combined with the lightning and thunder. Faintly under all of this he imagines the voice. Yelling for help, helplessly being drowned out and carried away by the sea. |

| Takashi takes note of his actions and gives a nod to Mia. Walking up to him again he shoves him on the shoulder a bit. "Hey! Whats your major Malfunction numb nuts! You sure as hell need some coffee, come on, you look like you seen a damn ghost." Mia who by no means isn't unattractive slaps him on the ass and smiles. "Plus you can sit next to her if yah want, so come on lets get something to drink." If this didn't work to awaken him from...whatever it was that had hold of him they may have to notch it up a bit more he reflects to himself. "Look like you're having a damn living nightmare." |
| Takashi was more correct than he may have thought. It had gotten past the extent of just remembering what happened. Aouli was basically reliving that day in his mind. All the while his body and reflexes were on auto pilot. The push on the shoulder made the boat sway. The slap on the ass made the water spill over the sides and start flooding the boat. In the background he could hear voices but couldn't make out what they said. He just assumed they were the cries for help uttered over and over. |

| Mia looks at him with a raised eyebrow as Takashi nods in agreement. "Yeah...I think he's snapped..keep it up and the dumb bastard will walk off the edge of the peir. Noticing his mumbeling it seems he's reliving some sort of shipwreck. "Hmm..maybe we should pour some water on him. see what happens...well maybe not, Mia lets just follow him for a bit. Though might want you to club him on the head soon, curious where this shit ends up." With that and something of a grin Takashi slightly turns Aouli so he at least walks away from that dock, even if he's intent on going to the sea. |
| As Takashi makes contact with him Aouli gets caught up in a net, blown around by the storm. Flailing wildly he manages to get it off him. Though he notices the voice.... it's getting fainter. This causes him to panic as he tries to think what to do. "Life preserver" Running around frantically all over the boat he tries to find it before it's to late. |

| "Holy shit.." Watching Aouli's panic he makes a motion towards Mia, the woman goes up behind him grapping his wrists from behind and attempts to push him down, Takashi meanwhile heads towards the water front to collect some water, it was well past time to soak him to end this insanity, Hopefully Mia wouldn't have much trouble holding him in place till them, this was getting dangerous. |
| A mass of equipment is blown on top of Aouli. Pinning him down slightly and stopping him from finding the life preserver. Shaking free of it he turns around and grabs the majority of it. Tossing it out of the way so it doesn't slow him down anymore. Running around afterward for a bit he finds what he's looking for, a life preserver. Though in reality it's a tire that's been left sitting out in the docks. Picking it up he runs back to the other side of the boat as fast as he can. He almost can't hear the voice anymore so he knows he has to hurry. Getting to the side he tosses it with all his strength to try to reach him before it's to late. |

| Takashi lifts his head up and turns to see a tire coming his way, slamming into him, and knocking him into the water, almost drowning from the surpirse impact he gets grabs onto a rung and pulls himself out soaking wet, as Mia finally picks herself up off the ground. "THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING!?" Angerily he shakes his head letting water fly off as he pulls himself up. "Stupid son of a bitch! Mia get a bored or something and knock his ass out if he doesn't come to!" Pulling out his soaking wet ski mask he swings it at Aouli's face like a glove. |
| It's to late..... the voice is gone. The life preserver floats away in the distance as all Aouli is able to hear is the sound of the waves and the storm. Standing there he shuts his eyes then begins crying and shaking as the boat drifts away with the waves. Eventually the thunder and lightning subdues. Then the waves become less violent and more passive. Eventually he opens his eye's and sees the ocean from the docks. Surprised he's not in his bed he looks around, first at his feet. Then around at his surroundings until he notices Takashi next to him. Soaking wet and pissed he has no clue what happened or why he's here. Standing there still shaking he tries to make sense of it all. |

| "The Flying fuck!? What are you some sort of goddamn deranged life guard?!" Noticing he's awake he sighs angerly as Mia puts down the post she just found. "Almost fucking drowned me, Gods sake man, all we were doing was offering you some damn coffee." Mia Giggles a bit as Takashi sticks up his right hands middle finger in reply. "Fuck you. Well unless you were still intent on getting him to do that. Which I wouldn't he'll just try and drown you!" For some odd reason Takashi seemed to take offense at his almost being drowned. "...ugh..what the hell are you even doing down here?" |
| Still shaking and his mind foggy from the dilemma. Aouli answers the only question he could understand."I....don't know." "I... was walking..... and.... the storm....." his speech trails and stops here. Trying to make sense of what just happened and why Takashi was so pissed. |

| "....What storm!? ITs SUNNY! Well almost Sunny.." Sighing a bit he now has reason to go get some coffee before he gets sick, though with how cold the water fealt he might get some sort of chill regardless. "Lets go get some palce warm, then you tell me all about it, what ever it was." Sighing a bit at least this would get Aouli out of the way. Mia ihowever is still laughing a bit and walks up to Aouli and whispers in his ear. "Oh boy you pissed him off, you might wish I DID have some of that candy." |
| "Ok" Aouli responded as he began to follow Takashi. He felt emotionally exhausted so didn't feel like saying anything further than that. Though as the girl in the van earlier came up and whispered to him he responded with a quizzical look. How did he piss Takashi off? Where did she come from, was she there the whole time? What ...candy? He thought about these and tried to figure out what had happened during his walk. Slowly as he followed Takashi he pieced it together, piece by piece. While at the same time trying to calm his body down, he was shaking all over and covered in sweat. |

| The trio walks for a bit Takashi notices a seanic cafe facing a area of beach front. A sign says beach goers welcome, drying facilities inside. "Ahh just what I needed. Come on lets go." As the three enter Takashi makes his way towards the drying room leaving the other two at a table, he returns a little damp but not as bad as the Waitress shows up to take their orders. "I'll just have some house coffee and two strawberry pastries." Mia orders about the same minus grape. "Well once you get what you want, I'll pay for it..mainly as I doubt you even have your wallet, I want to know what the hell that was all about?" |
| Motioning with his finger he utters "Tea". He surmised coffee would only make things worse the shape his body was in already. Though as he had a chance to sit down he rested his face in his hands, rubbing the sweat off and calming down. His body was no longer shaking but instead had light trembles here and there. Having gathered his composure and sense of awareness he had made some sense of what happened. Though he didn't know what went down while he was "gone". Looking Takashi straight in the eye's he asked "Why?" He wasn't sure if he only cared because he was pissed. Searching for hints of any other motive he waited for the response. |

| "In part Its dangerous to be walking around like you were for one, and two whatever that was almost drowned me. Also you almost went into private properity when we found you. How that for reasons?" Slightly annoyed he adds extra sugar to his tea and sighs. "Just more and more trouble for me this week, as if those two girls weren't enough problems, then you almost drown me, and my work still isn't done." |
| Noticing the aggravation in his voice and the reasons he stated. Aouli figured he had just been a burden at this point. So he decided to keep things short and leave for home when he felt able. "Couldn't sleep..... reoccurring nightmare made me restless." "So went for a walk.... then." he paused, thinking of how to put it. "Blacked out and came to back there." "Sorry.... glad I didn't drown you though." He said with an apologetic smile. Taking a hold of the tea, it lightly and sporadically trembled as he took a few sips of it. |

| "Nightmares huh..sounds tough. I'm sure you'll come to terms or be able to ignore them in time. Other thanthat find some Yakuza punks or old crooked liqoure store owners. They'll help you out with Sake I'm sure." In part he actually meant that, but he did know a thing or two about nightmares. Being quite the Waitress approaches with the 4 pasteries as the two grab one each and quickly eat it, then hurriedly start on the 2nd. "So what are you going to do now?" |

| Chuckling at Takashi's comment Aouli responds " If it were only that simple." After eating some of the pastries he can feel his strength and control come back. He's no longer trembling and he's mostly returned to his normal self. "Only thing I can see doing is returning home. Unless you need me for something." He says looking at both of them. |

| Looking at his 2nd pastery he starts to eat it, thinking of a reply as he does so. "You would be surprised what a person can forget.." Drinking the rest of his coffee in a gulp, the girl Mia also finishes hers as quickly. "If its all the same to you, we would like to walk you home. I don't want to see you later on today throwing a tire at me. Don't worry I won't tell your family about it." |
| Chuckling, Aouli says "I threw a tire at you!?" His face in shock yet trying to hide a smile, only to fail at it. He puts his face into his hands and starts laughing, shaking his head. Letting out a sigh the smile suddenly fades. "I had forgotten it till today." "Though it doesn't matter even if I do forget it..." after a pause he picks up again. "Sure, thanks." |

| Widening his eye's with surprise he turns to Mai. Rubbing the back of his head in a shy manner he apologizes "Really sorry, hope you're alright." Then turning back to Takashi he says. "Don't take it the wrong way, I'm laughing at how crazy I must have seemed haha." "Though as for secrets....if you're not personally asking I'll keep it to myself. You have enough shit to deal with as is it seems." "Though I assure you this won't happen again......just lost myself by accident". |

Thinking on the rest he leaves several 100 yen in coins on the table and streaches standing to his feet. "Hmm...did you lose yourself by accident, ot as the result of an accident." | Seeing Takashi readying to leave Aouli gets up and stretches himself. Once finished he returns the gaze and answered. "It's hard to explain, though the best way I can think of would be." "I lost myself..... then the accident took over." |

| "Hmm well then its as simple as finding yourself again isn't it?" With that he motions to do the door and leads off walking down the street. "Oh yeah we dleiverd the stuff as asked, need to get around to setting it all up though." |
| "True, though that itself isn't simple." "I didn't even come to till it was over". Following they talked as they walked down the street. "Thanks, have you decided on the area for the tournament already?" |

| "Hmm depends..We all have our own deamons to fight. Even me." Listening to the question he yawns a little. "I think the main Pier, Pier 12 on the Warf, all the main ones are being used plus the central square, you know the fancy part of port not the real in use areas" |

Answering pretty honestly on that score he turns to face the east as the sun is rising a bit higher up now breaking dawn. "well lets get you back." |

| Nodding in agreement Aouli heads toward home. Somewhat leading the way as they follow behind him. He has a question that just won't leave him be. After about 10 minutes of walking they were nearing his house. Deciding it was now or never to ask he let the strange question slip. "Hey Takashi...... you ever have a nightmare become reality?" he asks, looking off to his left,eventually turning his gaze to him for his answer. |

| They rounded the corner and were coming up to his front door. He stopped just before it and looked at it. " Well then you might understand me when I say I rather not enter my house." He said, as his heart began to pound faster. |

"Well if thats all we'll be heading back now..if you have problems with your home though might should talk to Yamada-sensi, or get a dorm, or is it something else?" |

"Why not look at it like this, if that really is the case, then win that damn boat. Or find where things in these visions of yours start to go wrong, then patch them up, divert them, stop them. Thats the point of Intel. Dad's going to die in the kitchen? Then get his ass out of the house, you're a big guy with some money, treat the family out to eat that day. You sit around threating about it, then what? Whats that help do? I've seen some strange shit, but I learned to trust my feelings on them, do the same muscel head." |
| Thinking over what Takashi says, Aouli finally lets out a long sigh. Letting all his worries ,fears, and doubts go along with it. "Yeah, don't know how I let myself get this riled up about it." "Holokai's probably laughing at me as we speak heh." "Come on in, I'll treat you to that cake I promised, you as well." he said turning to Mia "You mentioned earlier about lacking sweets." |

With that he wonders if what Aouli was saying was true or not, but if so least it showed him a new way to look at it, not as facts set in stone, but warnings to be avoided. Mia smiles at that and whispers cloesly. "Not the kind of sweets I was looking for but it works." |
| "Tsh, Holokai is my older brother." "Though he's probably laughing along with him." Aouli says as he walks up and unlocks the door. Turning around with a raised eyebrow he asks. "What kind of sweets are you talking about?" toward Mia. |
