| Approximately twenty minutes after the mission at the mall, the ASC squads began to pull up on the curb. The armored van arrived and Adam stepped out. He unlocked the unconscious girl and had her carried inside. "Lock her away and keep her in a drug-induced coma. Strip search her and make sure she isn't hiding anything on her person. If anything goes wrong, you contact me first." He pulled out his radio. "Director, we have her. She has been escorted to the southern section of the Tower, and is being locked up until we have further instructions from you. We're keeping her heavily sedated so she won't be too much of a problem. Your orders?" |

| Rika's computer announced Adam's contact. She reponded almost immediatly. "Good job, Adam. However, instead of locking her away... Bring her to me. I want to look at her eyes. Remember, I just want you on my room, no one else." Rika ordered as she got up from her computer and prepared the room to meet her "guest". |

When he reached the door, he calmly knocked on the door. |

| Rika opened the door and walked on ahead onto her chair, a large chair where she didn't even fitted. Unusually, Rika was on her casual clothes, which would be very... Suggestive. Even so, she kept on a cold expression as she spoke. "Lay her on the medical bed and make sure to lock her tight in there... We don't want any problems." She ordered Adam as she turned on the computer in front of her and a medical bed lifted from the ground. "Inject the adrenaline once she is properly locked." She further explained. |

| As soon as Yuume was placed on the medical bed and locked securely, various iron tires further prevented her from moving. After a few seconds passed, Yuume woke up abruptly, but no violently. She slowly opened her eyes and looked around, not moving her head but retaining a emotionless scowl on her face. Rika quickly walked towards her. "Impressive... You have her eyes, you know. It is strange to note that you have more similarities to the other side of her." Rika said, her voice being excited and cold at the same time. She turned herself towards the machine right beside the bed and, by pressing a few buttons, activated it. The machine quickly attached to Yuume's head. "Now, now, let's see what you have there..." Rika said as she went back to her computer and saw the results of her analysis. A perverse smile appeared on Rika's face as she saw the results. "Impressive indeed... Though you are still growing, unlike your mother. The mixture between humans and numbers seem to function incredibly well, even though you are extremely unstable and volatile." Rika said as she once more looked towards Yuume. "You should be proud of yourself, little girl, for you are the future of the human race." Rika stated as she then walked towards Adam. "Prepare our defenses. They should arrive any time soon." Rika said, then turning towards Yuume. "After I finish my analysis, we will grant her back to them... I still have some... tests... I need to do before I start my plan." Rika stated calmly. |

| Masaru and Yoshio examined the tower from the shadows of a building. "You remember what you shall do?" He questioned, to which Yoshio nodded. He was indeed going to draw some attention away, but he would have to be cautious as he could easily be overwhelmed. In hindsight, Masaru would be much better suited to distracting the ASC in this case, but even if Yoshio managed to find Yuume in the maze that the tower could be, what if he encountered generals, advisers, and Rika herself? He knew she still had the Orbiter with her, and Yoshio was not informed enough take any of them on. "What about you? Won't it be difficult for you to get in?" Yoshio inquired to his father. "I have not shown my face to the ASC in years, since before I had Yuume and you. Even if Kawasuma expects me, she will underestimate me most likely." Masaru responded. "I have infiltrated their bases before, though with your mothers help, this will be little different." He further added as he exited the building and walked calmly into the shadows. "Take much care, my son." He spoke one last time before his figure completely vanished in the darkness. Yoshio turned his attention back to the ASC tower and began to move. |

| "It shall be done." Adam left the Director's Office and began thinking to himself. Whoever that girl was, she was important. This meant that whoever she belonged to would most definitely pull out all the stops to retrieve her. Adam and pulled out his radio, tuning the frequency to the correct radio waves for all the soldiers. "This is Adam speaking. All men, we have a hostile situation inbound. I want everyone on full alert. Be advised, the hostiles are to be considered highly skilled and highly dangerous. This is not a drill." Adam didn't know how skilled the enemy really was, but it was better to not underestimate anyone, especially in their current situation. "I repeat, this is not a drill. Permission is granted to shoot to kill." Adam cut the transmission and made his way to the Communication's Room. There he sent out a different transmission to the squads throughout the city. "Squads 7 and 8, you are to return to the first tower in thirty minutes." If the enemy attacked now, the returning squads could come in from behind and trap them inside the building. If they attacked later, then the squads would just be extra men to defend the building. Adam left his room headed down towards the lobby. The Director's main bodyguard, Emily, could handle any situation upstairs. |

| Rika, who was engaged on her research, studied calmly every aspect of Yuume's body. "You see, there's no need to be confused. All I'm doing is a few research on you and your... Brain." Rika said casually, as if that was completely normal. Rika's objective was plain and simple: Recreate the numbers. She had the project given to her by her father but she needed more. She needed a Number's Brain Activity in order to create artificial Numbers that would follow her orders, very similar to Emily. Rika smiled slightly as she remembered of her maid. She was actually proud that her project went well, even though she was not able to mass-product Hell Lords. "After I'm done with you, I'll give you back to your parents and then you'll be able to move on. However, you will come to me later... When she wakes up on your mind. As far as I remember, she lost control and became psychotic... That's why Akira separated from her, but you have it in your mind, the mind of a number..." Rika said, but Yuume remained quiet. |

| Emily stood quietly in a corner of the room and simply observed what was going on with a somewhat blank look on her face. She was typically so quiet and still that most of the time people would forget that she was there or not notice her at all. Of course, she really didn't mind either way. Out of the corner of her eye, Emily noticed something big barreling up towards the building from below and before the car even hit the building she already had Rika's head down on her lap as she shielded her from the impact, quite possibly making it the most comfortable get-your-head-down situation ever. Luckily for them all, the car hit several floors down so while the explosion did rock most of the tower, they were safely away from any real damage. "Mistress, are you well?" Emily asked in a calm and monotone, yet somehow soothing voice. |

However, before she was even able to move, Emily had already catched her and protected her from the explosion. She would usually do unnecessary things for Rika and this was very natural of her part, though even Rika barely understood why she did that. Slowly getting up and resuming her research, Rika nodded to respond her. "Emily... Please stand in attention for whenever someone gets into the room. Do not attack the person but if he attacks me first, you have permission to immobilize him, though not terminating him." Rika warned as she turned towards the monitor ahead of her. She continued to write down quickly. "Just a few more minutes and I'll be done with this..." She muttered. Yuume stood silent as everything around her exploded, not only literally but also in her own emotions. Her thoughts were impressively fast as she thought about everything she heard so far and tried to link it into a fair response to it all meant. Rika's research was nearly done before she suddenly openned another monitor to her left side. "I'll activate the Maximus 13 R3. Let's see how well it'll work against whoever is launching cars at us..." Rika said as she activated a huge, almost colossal robot that emerged from the Tri-Tower's front park. Nearly the size of a building, the robot was armed to the teeth... If it had any. It quickly started to scan the area and patrol it to find Sara or any other threats. It's steps caused small earthquakes. |

| Yoshio cautiously approached one of the checkpoints the ASC had set up that blocked his way into the base. They seemed on high alert, they probably expected some kind of attack. If he could get in melee range of them, he could decimate them. The checkpoint was manned by a few squads and robot. He got as close as he could without giving away his presence. He needed to shock and awe them to get through, attack and take them out before they had a chance to react. He knew his father probably already sneaked in somehow, either finding a blind-spot or eliminating some guards in his way, all he needed to do was cause a distraction. He gripped his blade and prepared to assault the checkpoint. Yoshio cocked it, much like one would a javelin, and launched it straight towards the robot. His sister would have been able to make it go clean through, but it still lodged itself deep in the robot's core and disabled it. For a moment, they would look towards the robot instinctively, giving him a chance to rush forward and take out one of the soldiers via snapping his neck. Grabbing the poor man by the back of the collar of his armor and using his corpse as a meat-shield, he rushed towards the robot, dropping the meat-shield and hopping to the top of the robot, quickly yanking his blade out of its stomach and vaulting over it to use it as momentary cover from the soldier's fire. "That deals with the main threat... Now it's just a matter of slaughtering the rest of these bastards!" He growled to himself, holding the blade so that it would cover most of his own body and charging around the robot with an angered battlecry, using the large cleaver as a shield from the bullets. Though he strategized when it came to large threats, he normally adopted Rin Chi's tactic of charging in a blind rage when dealing with foot-soldiers like this. It of course acquired him unnecessary wounds and injuries, but he didn't care, at least not until after his adrenaline wore off. |

| Desperate cries for backup were coming in over the radios as battles began to erupt around the Tower. These cries were loud, and then suddenly, silenced. Adam sighed and turned off his radio.Thank you for your service,he prayed. He stepped down the steps and made his way to the closest checkpoint, the one that had sent out the call for help. There he saw a young man armed with a large cleaver-like blade. As Adam approached, he watched the man clean up the rest of the remaining soldiers in what seemed to be a fit of rage. Heh, heh heh. Adam, release me. It's time for some fun... Adam ignored the taunting in his head and approached the man calmly and quietly. |

| Yoshio panted a few times. He wasn't all that tired, he simply let a lot of his anger out on those poor troops. He quickly regained his breath and laid the blunt side of it onto his shoulder as usual, noticing the approaching man and closing the distance between them. "Out of my way." He stated calmly. If he could, he would like to be able to help his father save Yuume. "Or are you going to blabber about honor and pride and all that good stuff and sacrifice yourself to buy that bitch a few seconds like a good little lapdog?" He followed up coldly. |

If Wasteland was fully released, it would not be a good thing, and the last thing he wanted was to add another kill to his resume. |

"But you don't have to answer, I already know what you're going to say. And let me tell you, I really hate assholes that act like they're all noble and nice, when they're doing the exact opposite." He stated, obviously annoyed and bored with the conversation already. Yoshio readied the blade. It didn't matter if the man let him through or not. He was there to cause trouble, and that's exactly what he was doing. |

Emily, pick up the girl and let's go." Rika ordered as she closed the computer and activated the self-descrution command of the entire room. "This office is disposable. So there's no need to save anything." She added as she picked up her Orbiter and spreaded her fingers, causing a ball of blue light to appear, floating above her hand. The orbit rotated in a incredibly speed before Rika closed her hand in a fist and turned towards the emergency exit. "We have fifteen seconds." She said as she walked towards the Exit. Yuume's conscience started to slowly fade away. She was starting to get seriously tired of this game, but before she was able to do anything, the sedative had already done it's job and she fell asleep. The bed then unlocked her and laid her available to be lifted up. |

| Masaru made his way through the building, just arriving at the hallway that lead to the room they were in. It seemed that Yoshio and whoever else was causing a racket had done a decent job at drawing attention as he didn't have to deal with all that much. Though to be fair, Masaru's ability at stealth was top notch, and those that did notice him were easily dispatched. He paused next to Gergern, silently watching the two of them to see what they would do. He didn't think Rika would risk hurting Yuume and incurring the anger of him or worse, the wrath of her though he assumed she would take many precautions to prevent that. "Quite reckless of you, Gergern." He spoke calmly, though it wasn't a lecture or criticism. After he spoke, he remained silent once more and merely watched. |

| Selene left her lab and walked around one of the many hallways of the huge and lonely bulding looking for something to eat. After 28hrs completely cloistered with her toys, it was needed. |

| Emily waited for someone to come through that door but no one ever came so she simply stood watching the doorway in case someone actually did try to come inside. At least that was until Rika finished up what she was doing. When she told Emily to pick up the girl, she responded with "Yes, mistress,", switched her rifle into her right hand, and moved back, picked up Yuume, and placed her over her left shoulder, all the while carefully watching the doorway. Hearing voices outside the doorway, Emily balanced Yuume on her left shoulder as she pulled a flashbang grenade off of her belt, pulled the pin out with her teeth, and tossed it through the doorway and as the first grenade was still in the air she already pulled another grenade from her belt, this time a frag grenade, pulled the pin with her teeth, and tossed it through the doorway as well. The flashbang bounced off the wall in the hallway and landed just to the right of the doorway and exploded, emitting a blinding light and letting disorienting bang which was followed closely by the frag grenade which would explode just a few seconds after the flashbang exploded. With an adequate distraction set in motion, Emily jogged over to her mistress's side and followed her into the Emergency Exit. |

| The emergency exit was a simple, yet very unique elevator. Rika turned towards the buttons and pressed a big red one. The effects were very clear: it cut off the cables that held the elevator and made it fall down in an astonishing speed. However, inside the elevator, barely anything could be felt. This was the effect of Rika's research, a gravitational control over the Tranite and other iron types. As the elevator started to reach the ground, it slowly losed speed until it finally stopped and, below it, a trap door openned and made the elevator still fall further down. The trap door closed almost immediatly after that, creating the perfect camouflage for them to escape. As soon as the Elevator stopped, the doors opened and revealed Rika's greatest asset: the main labs. They were situated almost 200 meters down into the underground and were hardly accessible. This was Rika's sanctuary. However, she knew that, even here, she wasn't exactly secure. Rika then started to walk to her personal laboratories, where she researched most of the serious things. There laid Emily's new armor project as well, though still unfinished. As soon as they got inside the room, the gronund opened and from it emerged a glass coffin. "Lay her inside there." Rika ordered as she started to activate her personal laboratory. |

| "Yes, mistress," Emily responded as she placed the unconscious Yuume into the glass coffin. She then began to check over her weapon to make sure everything was properly in order and found it to be in pristine condition; even though someone would normally think that a weapon that had only just fired five shots would be okay, it was something that Emily just did whenever she had time to do so. She reached into one of the pouches in her belt and pulled out five more rounds, detached her magazine, and started placing them into it one by one, and when she finished she replaced the magazine and simply stood at attention until her next orders, though it wasn't long before her eyes began to wander towards the suit of armor. She wasn't sure why but there was something about that armor that beckoned her. |

| Masaru had grabbed Gergern and pulled him back a bit, covering his own eyes. After the grenades went off he released Gergern. "Exercise care." He warned before turning to leave. Climbing down would take to long, and that was if there were no traps set which Rika undoubtedly had. He would first need to identify where they retreated to. He first thought of the labs, but he doubted that they had gone to the same labs he knew before NEOH fell. They either had another set of labs, or they ran to another room. Well, the easiest way was finding another "emergency exit" and someone with clearance to use it. Masaru was sure he would be able to "convince" someone to assist. |

| As Yuume was placed on the coffin, it closed again and locked her inside. Rika then sighed off relief and activated the bio-scanner. It would take a long time for it to be done and now Rika finally had some time off. She walked out of the computer and made a smile of relief. She took a quick glance at Emily and quickly noticed that she was just looking at the armor. "You want to test it?" Rika questioned in a direct form. She was able to notice Emily's feelings quite well, unlike many of the other Generals and Advisors, Emily was her personal bodyguard after all. |

| Rika's question caused Emily to turn towards her. She looked at Rika, then over to the suit of armor, and then back again at Rika. "Yes, mistress," she said with a simple nod. "I would like to test it." |

| Rika smiled upon seeing Emily's answer. She turned around and walked towards the armor, pressing the button that was beside it. The armor's protection was lifted and it was now available to be removed from the mannequin. "There... You may wear it above your uniform." Rika said, smiling softly. Turthfully, she wanted to see how Emily would adjust to the armor. It was made to have a link with Emily's biosignature and so be able to strengthen certain aspects of her, like speed and power. It also had a few new toys for her. The armor was completely made of Tranite and hand-designed by Rika herself. |

| Emily walked towards the suit of armor and simply placed her hand on the chest of the suit. As she touched it, it somehow felt... She felt the word "nostalgic" would have adequately fit this feeling based off what she had read in books even though she had never felt something like it before. She placed her Hk416 down on a nearby table and began to strip down to her underwear as the suit would not be able to accommodate what she was wearing as it was. After placing her nearly folded clothes onto the table next to her assault vest, she began to place on the special, formfitting, black under-suit which was next to the suit of armor before she walking up to the suit of armor. As if responding to her presence, the suit of armor opened up, allowing her to simply step inside backwards and after she did, the armor began to seal itself around her, starting with her extremities and moving its way inward and upward with the helmet being the final piece to be sealed with a slight hiss of escaping air. The suit's Heads-Up-Display (HUD) booted up, reading her biometrics, and displaying a plethora of information on her current state like heart-rate, brain-wave activity and body temperature as well as several environmental factors including outside air condition, outside temperature, and radiation counter. Emily moved each part of her body slowly as if to calibrate the suit, starting with her head moving downward, ending with her left foot.
