Shizuno found Ryoko’s data! Ok, so it wasn’t that unexpected, but I still liked the end of the episode. It would be too meaningless for them to have killed her off just to bring her back exactly like she was, so I’m heavily leaning towards the theory that Ryoko won’t be the same Ryoko that Kyo knew before she “died.” And it all seems a bit too easy, with Shizuno conveniently finding Ryoko’s data inside the Altair. Maybe the process of recovering Ryoko won’t be so simple…though next episode’s title is “Reincarnation.”

They spent a lot of time this episode talking about the past and Naaga. I had thought the Gards-orm were alien invaders or something, but Lu Sheng says that it’s all Naaga’s doing. Naaga’s motives still aren’t that clear to me, but maybe they’ll be explained when Naaga finally makes an appearance. Which leads to the question of where Naaga is now, just like Kyo asked. Since Lu Sheng said that Naaga was probably in a server somewhere, the possibility arises that maybe Naaga is in Maihama server and is one of the characters we already know.

The other interesting thing from all this is how Shizuno felt that the Gards-orm were targeting her. They haven’t really gone into Shizuno’s past, but perhaps she’s got connections to Naaga somehow.

Oh and we can’t forget to mention that Minato’s legs appear to be damaged. Looks like she’s going to die like Arque sometime in the near future perhaps. I wonder if Shima knows or if Minato is hiding it from him.

Would have been more interesting if Kaminagi kept staying dead. But I guess it can't be helped. This is anime after all and people don't die. -.- Still pretty cool to see how much Shizuno loves Kyo to go through all this trouble and resque her love-rival. That's some determination.

I guess it is logical for her to be alive due to the nature of the world they are living in.
