So she got kidnapped and then was able to escape by herself? Not too shabby for a girl of her age and scarlet hair.

Now I wonder about her past and how she got that red red hair.

I admire how resourceful and clear-headed Shirayuki is.
You get to find out about Shirayuki's past when you meet her father.
A good author leaves the audience enough material to be satisfied with, yet yearning for more.

Eh, the first part of this chapter was pretty annoying, every other panel "OMG YOU HAVE RED HAIR!"

Yeah, I think we understand she has red hair by now, the title is "Red-Haired Snow White" after all.

I do like how she works in medicine with plants, and reminds of the girl in The Earl and the Fairy.

Shirayuki is one nice main heroine. I love how she tries to put in work herself. She's cute and fun too :3

Hope the red hair thing doesn't last too long because it's already getting repetitive

she's actually a pretty okay heroine, but is she gonna get saved by the prince all the time?
not that it's a deal breaker, but meh...

Nice, nice interesting chapter
I guess the reason why the first chapter felt so rushed was because the author said she initially wrote it as a one-off story (as noted in the author's notes in the margins)

But this chapter was exciting. It seemed sort of random that she just got kidnapped and none of the other people in their group even noticed? They could have added an extra panel to show her going off deeper into the woods so that it would make a little more sense because they made it look like the dude just nabbed her in the middle of everything.
Then Zen popping up to save Shirayuki from the big-bad was also sort of random. How did he know where she was? How did he know to go up the mountain and into the random tower?

Anyways, I like that Shirayuki still wants to pursue her goal and make a name for herself, but she still seems like somewhat of a damsel in distress. Even when she tried to outsmart the kidnapper and use those numbing-herbs, it didn't even end up working and she had to be saved by the prince...
