| that was...... different. It wasn't exactly a happy ending, but it wasn't a bad ending either. I kind of feel stranded in the middle of being displeased and being pleased...... but somehow, it's not a bad thing. Really quite an interesting series. I don't think the author intended for any of the main characters to change. Kyouichi still seems unsure about being in a gay relationship (Even though they ended up together, I think this because of how Imagasa closed his eyes when they were doing it. And also that bonus at the end showed Kyouichi's thoughts more explicitly). Imagasa knows this, yet he's still happy about being with Kyouichi. And Kyouichi still gives off the impression that he's willing to go along with anything the last person had said to him. Parts of this series were quite melodramatic, and I have to admit I felt uncomfortable at some derogatory statements about homosexuals... but I think this contributed quite strongly to the whole effect the author was going for. Not quite a happy story, not quite a sad one either. Dramatic, yes, but... none of the characters seem to be going anywhere, really. What an intriguing (possibly realistic?) depiction of a gay + straight couple. 9/10 |

| For some reason I don't know I thought I would like this, a lot, but in the end I hated this manga because of using "homo" as an insult and the girl that said "you have to do it with the person you love even if (s)he says no" or something like that, like... seriously? I don't even remember other things I disliked because it was so awful my brain decided to forget them. |
