| Starting Symphogear G, I honestly didn't expect much. I thought the first season was a mix of fun but awful writing, and a few enjoyable songs. Come the first episode of this season, I am instantly hooked and feel like shouting "Fuck yeah!" every episode. I've liked nearly every song in the second season and I feel the writing isn't a trainwreck like first season. I love how I'm actually in some way rooting for the antagonists for G for have their own motivations and troubles, where as in the first season I just felt Ryoko/Fine was full of shit and just there for the sake of having an enemy. Apparently though, after discussing with some people, a lot of people actually found season 1 much better. There are some fans that stated season 2 doesn't have the fun and enjoyment derived from the first. It's actually quite baffling to me, as even though I understand there are OPINIONS, I just felt season 2 was just superior to the point of objectivity. So what are your guys thoughts? Have you enjoyed more or less of this season, or is it the same? |

| Lets just hope we don't get another season... Season 1 was kinda okay. But Season 2 with all those drama and what not, it makes me to think its plain stupid. |

| Season 2 is better. With the story cause so far each episode I am wanting to see the next episode right this instant. The previous time I was like this was with Sword Art Online, Gundam 00S2, Shakugan No Shana S2, Macross Frontier, and Sakurasou No Pet No Kanojou. As you can see with all the animes I watched in my lifetime that is a small number. The series was supposed to be a total of 24 episodes. So they moved it to 12 and then thought it was to short and more could be explored so they gave us season 2 to fill that gap. |
