| Next chapter can't get here fast enough. I liked Shinobu's side story that was released today, but it kinda irks me when a yuri manga *only* shows lesbian couples. It's like the mangaka doesn't even acknowledge hetero or male homosexuality. That's one reason I like Takemiya Jin's stuff. |

| @Py687, I dunno about that. I started reading Yuri because I'm getting bored of the normal hetero romance and I can't stand Yaoi. If mangakas started putting those two on my Yuri, I don't think I'm gonna like it. Like the amount of good yuri manga isn't very limited already. |

| NeoWitch and ShoujoChrome, I totally get what you mean. Don't misunderstand me; in fact, I'm completely addicted to yuri. My only complaint is that no males show up in many yuri series, or if they do, they're complete jerks. (And even they're also usually not shown as being in a relationship at all.) I'm not asking for het or yaoi to *really* show up a whole bunch, but at least for the mangaka to acknowledge their existences. It gets ridiculous when an entire office floor or hot spring inn only has lesbian couples, and there aren't any straight ladies around (Amano Shuninta, anyone?). I'm sure even lesbians have straight friends. Basically, I think the "Missing Y-Chromosome" tag on the Dynasty Reader fits too many series. |
