I didn't expect too much but there were some intimidating moments like this: Otherwise, season 2 has been announced and might check it out. Oh and I will say that the bro moments in this series were fun to watch. |

| Well...not that good of a show to me. The topic was just not what I think is interesting and the whole time I had a strange feeling with all of these men where you have the impression they are all probably gay. XD Still not bad, I can say I enjoyed it somehow because I loved the train episode and the one after it a lot. So in the end 6/10 and 6.5/10 in my offline-rating. The biggest question for me is, will I watch the second season? |

Hakkenden didn't sell THAT bad, I thought it's sales were okay. Anyways, I loved this series from beginning to end. It was really enjoyable and also very underrated. I found all the characters likeable. The art was beautiful and the music was great. This is a rare hit by Deen. 8/10 because the first couple of episodes were a bit slow and I didn't really care about this anime at that point. But the rest were really enjoyable. |
| The Vol. 1 DVD sales didn't even hit 1k, which is hardly enough to merit a second season on its own, opposed to a predetermined split-cour setup. Anyways, I'm clearly not part of the target audience of this show. It was kinda interesting at times, but I still don't really care about bishies and there was one too many gay jokes in this for me. 5/10 |

| Nice ending for this season! I love how they used Yukihime's song towards the end, and showed all the characters. It really was a satisfying end for season 1 ^^ I'm going to miss this next season, but at least it's coming back in the summer. It was also nice the way they kind of made this season seem like an introduction, since in the last episode, they decided to talk about the 8 warriors. 7/10 (thought for my personal enjoyment, I would rate it an 8/10! It's been a great adaptation of the manga ^^) |
| Well that's how it ends. There are a lot of things I'm looking forward to happen in s2, so I'll stick with it for now and see how will things go down. |

| I wasn't able to get into this series until the final three episodes, and the shonen-ai felt kinda forced (though I usually love stuff like that). Though I care enough to stick around for S2, so it must have done something right. Either 6/10 or 7/10. I'll probably decide which in a few days. |

| For me, probably a 8/10. I think I was expecting more in the end, but glad there's a season 2 :) I had an overall fun time watching the series. |

| I enjoyed it, but was never really that pulled in. I kept on expecting more from the characters, and in the end, I got nothing. |

| Well it was pretty enjoyable, even though they're saving the best for season 2. Serious scenes were dark, and funny scenes were comedic. I' interested in the next season to fully understand it all. 7/10 for the series, but somewhat high expectations for season two. |

| I am ending up with a 7. Leaving me with so many questions unanswered, time will tell if the second season will give them. Or rather, left me with questions regarding events/people that happend in a episode and just leaving it. A good example would be Yukihime and Dousetsu Inuyama, well I am taking a guess Same thing with Kohaku, left me with so many questions : / |

| 8/10 overall for this season 1 :) This is quite good for a last episode of an anime series which will have a second season. It left the watchers to have high expectations and many predictions for season 2 ! I cannot wait to watch it later! A very nice closure indeed ,5/5 for the episode :DD Definitely one of my fav.anime. |

| This episode was okay. The whole anime was not exactly my thing, but still pretty enjoyable. I'm giving this 'only' 6/10 because there is going to be a second season that might explain a lot and thus I might give it a higher score (or not). |

| Not a super exciting ending, but as the episode went on you could kinda tell they were setting it up for a second season, which I'll definitely watch. Just hope the second season is heavy on the dark tone we saw in episode 11 and light on the meat jokes. |

| I honestly didn't really like this show at first, I enjoyed the second half a lot and I continuously got me more intrigued with the characters as the plot progressed. The arc with Kohaku was probably my favorite and I hope to see more arcs that are dark like that one in the next season. |

| LOVED it. For something that was so slow paced, it was interesting anyways. xD None of the characters were annoying or pissing me off. Good job~ Very sad it's done but very excited they announced S2 right off the bat. |

| Really anticipating the second season also...can't wait! LOL, I thought that shadow Sousuke was trying to grab Shino's butt at first when he pulled him into the alley and reached into his back pocket, but then it turns out he was just stealing the bead. Whatever... my mind is trying to take this show to the next level haha. |
| I found it interesting and will watch for the second season. I'm not that interested in any of the characters in particular so much as the story itself and how they all fit it. Actually, I guess my favorite character was the 'little' black furball Megu. Only, he's not so little anymore. I may have to rethink having one for a pet - I can't afford to feed something that big... |

| I'm very happy about the 2nd season news, something about the pacing was a bit off so I should've known about the 2nd season earlier, it was too slow for a 13 episode long anime but well, we're finally at the interesting part of the story :) Am I onew of the few people who actually really, really liked it? Despite the plot moving so slow I found myself enjoying every episode a lot and I've re-watched most episodes at least once. Idk, maybe it's the Natsu seiyuu + likeable characters + supernatural element that pull me in but I honestly enjoyed this more than most of the anime I recently finished/watched. 8/10 for me, can't wait for the second season. |

| waaaa... kawaiii! shino is so cute when he was crying like a little kid ^^ that was my favorite scene ever... :))) and when shino and sousuke while sitting next to each other is so cute and also about that "brother" thing is so nice. :)) if only Shino is a real girl then this is no big deal. but shino is a boy :/ i hate yaoi.. i just hope this won't turn to yaoi >< I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE SECOND SEASON. hehe :) Love the ending. It's a nice feeling to see Shino still care for Hamaji. I really thought that Sousuke and him would forget about her. | This was a great show imo and I'm looking forward to the second season. Pace is kinda slow but the character development is nice and the story is pretty interesting at times. This is promising, but as a standalone not that special. 5/10. If the second is good I might give this a 6/10 but the second season's score should reflect the big picture instead. |

And the manga is re-published from the beginning since June 2011 (published volumes) because it was published in a shoujo magazine and now in a slightly shounen-ai magazine! Last re-published volume was on December 2012 (was out originally in December 2009). Next volume should be published soon! It seems to sell well. I don't have any data about it, but in second hands shops (also amazon.co.jp) each volumes are at least 300 yens! For comparison, for the manga who don't sell well we can found 1vol for 100yen in shop and 1yen (+shipping) online! Still 3 years without any new chapters and still selling! Probably a lot of fan don't buy again all the volumes, it seems to not have a lot of change... |

| Well, i think season 1 is to mainly find the different people, but looking at it now, they only have 6.. minus the fact that one of the beads is with the shadow now... so yeah, i think season 2 would be better :) i can expect smth ^^~ |

| Hmm I had fun really, I wasn't /bored/ or what so ever as some people have claimed. I'll give this one an 8/10. Only thing why it didn't get a 9, was the slow progress. But I really had fun watching this! Also, I get a feeling that the eyes. . . are somewhat similar in design to 07-Ghost. |
