Seems, pretty cool. I know it sounds crazy, but after reading so much YGO manga and watching so much YGO anime. I actually prefer the duels in the manga. Idk, something about reading it just makes you follow the duel closer, and are able to understand what's happening more.

Hopefully, in the same regard as GX, the 5D's manga will be better than the anime.

I love the GX manga, but the anime was only ok...

Keeping in line with the other Yu-Gi-Oh! mangas, this one takes the series in a new direction from the anime. They manage to introduce a new character and a new villain. Chapter 1 keeps some things from the anime but from the early going you can see it is going to be a heck of a lot different altogether. ;)

With the passing of Takahashi I've been sort of wanting to play some YuGiOh or do something with Yugioh. So, since this is on my stalled list, I guess I'll go ahead and read this.

I was hoping that Stardust Dragon would make an appearance. I guess it's too soon for that.

As much as I didn't particularly care for 5Ds, Synchro Summon was the last thing I really "learned" to use while playing the game. Maybe I'll end up liking the manga a little more than the anime. But, so far, like with the GX manga, the strategies and twists of the duels just aren't on par with the original Duelist series.
