After reading the light novel and re watching The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, is it possible that Nagato was the one who planted Asakura's data procedures? I mean Nagato did say that she knows everything from 3 years ago to the recent Tanabata and perhaps more. She had done data synchronization therefore she knew that Asakura would go rogue. But she did not stop it from happening. Also she knew that Kyon wasn't convinced that Nagato was alien therefore needed to show him proof. Then I read in light novel which has been translated that she planted the aggressive data in the first place and the anime said similar thing. Therefore she anticipated this attack from happening in the first place. Of course there has to be another explaination for it but as of now I think its Nagato's fault.

well nagato is in fact very responsible because she even if she did know that asakura was going to go all crazy she did stop her and save kyon on many occasions without the other hardly ever knowing
but if you read the spin-off manga nagato yuki chan she is very irresponsible and relies on asakura san to remind her.

Yes I read the spin-off and I find Nagato cute. However with the lastest chapter she became the original personality again @.@
