Seems both Shion and Emma have had quite a rough past but never expected such a ritual to happen to Shion |

| We now have more back story to learn, but before that, the next challenge awaits! Or we get Schion explaining a bit more to Emma. Or perhaps both :D |

| So Shion goes from being just behind his siblings (but probably still very talented) to being a "degraded human" and yet he still became as powerful as he is? Wonder how much effort that took >_> |
| I don't blame him for not telling her something like that. Some things are better left in the dark but I'm pretty sure she wouldn't treat him any differently regardless. |

THAT MAKES HIM WANT TO GET HER OUT....SO HE TRAIN AND TRAIN AND TRAIN EVEN THOUGH HE IS WEAKER,LOW INTELIGENCE,NOT GOOD AT ANY MAGIC ATTRIBUTE THAN A ORDINARY HUMAN HE STILL BECOME ONE OF THE STRONGEST MAGE (for emma's sake)... | Nice chapter. Quite the interesting and dark past Shion has. Yeah, that's definitely something that most people would bury deep down and not ever want to talk about. And Emma's response is one of the reason's why I like this title so much. It just works. |

| Shion gets an award in my head for this. WOW. Just wow. I'm assuming were going to meet evil momma in the later chapters... I never would have thought that such ritual happened to Shion.. I mean, he's such a strong mage. That's one very sad past there. |
