| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Just finished 1-3, not bad. I normally don't read this type of manga but I like Punpun so I thought I'd give it a try, its pretty interesting and I really like his artwork. |

It's realistic because he constructs his characters based on experimentation and experiences rather than the typical cliches you see often. Artwork = meh? I don't think so. |

| I think his artwork is very good, it's realistic and expressive at the same time, he had both plus symbolism in Punpun, I can't fault his art at all, it's quite good. |

| Good chapter, their relationship isn't all that bad, she is opening up to him a little bit. Still very shaky though. I hope there isn't a rape scene in this manga... |

| I've always had a problem with Inio Asano's works. I find his worldview extremely jaded, everything is hypersexualized, and his manga generally start falling apart halfway through. I do respect how there is a raw ambition within his works, but I'm just not feeling it here. This manga is trying so hard to create a realistic setting for itself, but forgot to make it interesting or likable. Hopefully there is something worthwhile in this manga, but I'm not holding my breath. |
