| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- I loved so much in this chapter ;_; I already love Mikage and all, but she's so adorable this chapterrrr... It sounds almost like this was half narrated by her, which I thought was really cool. But I know everyone hates her because she has a thing for Kaede ;_; AND THEN THERE WAS HARUTO /staunchly ignoring the elephant in the room |

I screamed, you screamed, it was MAGICAL. But this chapter highlights a part of Anis that people tend to overlook with her character: after being passed from family member to family member and having never had a real relationship with her father, the girl very clearly has issues with displays of any kind of affection, so she's built a wall (very aptly described by Tenjoh, but only in reference to Kaede) around herself, which Mutsuki very clearly and nonconsentually breached this chapter, in an exclusively self-serving and quite frankly dick move on his part. He got caught up in the Anis's moe, though, so I don't necessarily blame him for it, lawl. On the other hand, he really did violate Anis this chapter, but in exchange, he set up an opportunity for her to connect with her knights on a completely different level and face her insecurities about meaningful (in this case, romantic) relationships; in fact, I'm willing to bet this will set the tone for several chapters to come. OH BOY THIS IS EXCITING! =D |
| Well, rebmastu pretty much summed up that part perfectly. Very exciting indeed. Ahh Mikage. Guess she was left all alone in that blackout. ^_^; |

Ah well, this chapter was a clear pointer at Anis x Kaede what with Tenjou hitting the nail right on the head and Anis rejecting Mutsuki :D lol i felt the same way! at first i thought the kiss was cute..since it was the first kiss in the manga really (since Mikage and Kaede didn't TECHNICALLY kiss haha)..but then it was kinda like, ehh..i'm not feeling the chemistry so much! i think she sees all the guys as friends except for Kaede..he seems to have a special place in Anise's heart :) and i think Kaede's awakening is going to be really really amazing..i can't wait to see it :DDD |
