| When I find myself checking tokyotosho every 5 minutes to see if the new ep is out, it must mean I love the anime. Anyway, nice to see the good ol' Hanasaku Iroha atmosphere from the first two episodes is back. So the rivaling inn appears. I predict a battle of tradition vs. modernity in the episodes to come. Speaking of rivals, Yuina has finally been introduced; she keeps reminding me of Kurumi. 'Minko-hime' seems to be quite popular among the guys at school. Also, she's sitting in the back, next to the window. Srsly, why do anime characters always sit there xD I genuinely laughed at the class reaction to Ohana saying she's from Tokyo. That's what I like about this anime, it may be dealing with serious issues, but ever so often comes comic relief character/situation/scene and I usually don't anticipate it. Tomoe's character is pure win; "Kono uragirimono!!!'' d(>w<)b Don't like Minko x Tohru pairing for some reason. I can't really pinpoint it, maybe it's cuz the age difference (well it's not that big difference). Actually, no, now that I think about it, it's not because of the age difference, it's because I really don't like the guy; I've disliked him since the first episode. To cut the long story short, another 5/5 from me. |

| Star Driver Sunday has been replaced by Hanasaku Iroha Sunday for me :) This episode has a little bit of comedy and tragedy. I felt really bad for Minko when they saw Tohru picking up Yuiko, but I don't think Yuiko is going to be a bad girl in this show. |

| Talk about *drama* in that last part. I really hope it doesn't turn into those innocent but tragic love triangles where someone dies by suicide or yandere. Hopefully things work out in the end. Gosh I love this show. |

| Ohana's fear of the grey heron was hilarious. xD I think that Minko and Tohru would make a cute couple, and the last scene was probably just one of those misunderstandings. :U I dunno, but I don't think that this series will turn into some dramatic love triangle. Hopefully not a nice boat ending either. Fuuu, Ko was was adorable imo though. I seriously hope that there's some development in his and Ohana's relationship. |

| I have fallen in love with the OP. The single for it came out recently, I had the OP song on repeat for a few hours. Ohana is gonna starting school while living at this place...I like her uniform, classic sailor outfit. I love Minko with her hair down, looks better than tied back, I think. Nako looks good with braids too. Haha, and they think Ohana is some celebrity just because she came from Tokyo. That new girl, Yuina, reminds me of Kurumi from Kimi ni Todoke. She seems pretty nice, though. I think that Hanasaku Iroha, unlike other shows this season, makes good use of CGI. They don't use much but when they do, it blends in well. How old is Tooru? I can see him maybe rejecting Minchi if she ever told him her feelings, and getting her heart broken. Wait, now I just watched the following scene, heart successfully broken. xD Although maybe it could be that Tooru is just taking Yuina to school and isn't dating her or anything. Also inb4 a ton of people complain about the bath scene because of fanservice and how it's ruining the show. |

| The part with the Heron was so funny. Those Grey Herons usually don't get to close to people they also live around here and i never seen any that got closer then 5 meters of me. The cliffhanger was also rather interesting i wonder what will happen to Ohana with that Heron around her, animals know when your scared of them. And i also wonder about Minko what is she going to do. Yuina also seems like a interesting character. The i don't care about anything as long as it's fun character which will certainly lead to some bad situations in the near future. Those guys at the school where a bit foolish asking a girl to take pictures of a other girl just to fulfill there lust, that is certainly asking for trouble. The reaction of her female classmates was a bit expected, being on the country and far away of Tokyo. |

| My interest in starting to go elsewhere at present. The first episode was a nice balance of drama comedy and beside the overly silly third episode this episode was a lot of comedy and a lot of slice-of life. I don't mind slice-of-life but this is getting cookie cutter slice of life and getting more predictable. Frankly was hoping for a more dynamic drama. Not saying it has to get super depressing like "Now and Then Here and There" but this series is going down the safe Slice-of-Life path. Episode was pretty predictable and dull. On the other hand, I love love love the Ending Theme. The opening is good and nice but I don't care for the vocals much. |

| Well, I guess this season may not be completely devoid of romance after all. I am cheering for this Minko x Tooru relationship, but somehow I don't think it's going to work out in the end. And no, I'm not asking manga readers to tell me if I'm wrong or right. :P This episode was good until the bath scene. Couldn't they have had that talk someplace else? Oh well, I'm already over it after the way episode 3 was. |

| Poor Minko. :( I really hope that Tohru is going to end up with Minko in the end. Also, Ohana should just send simple reply to Kouichi soon before he starts thinking that she's angry at him and is ignoring because of confession. Besides, I hope Ohana ends up with him. ^^ |

"LETS PARTY!~" XDDDD Idk y, but I felt so heart broken seeing Yurina and Tohru have a thing.... ;__; Yurina's voice is soo annoying!! MY EARS WERE LIKE BLEEDING!! lastly, IS KO COMMNG BACK??!??!?!?!?! I FREAKEN MISS HIM! MY GIRL OHANA NEEDS A BOYFRIEND!!! MAYBE THAT WAS TOHRU'S EXTREMELY IDENTICAL TWIN BROTHER?!?!?!??! O____________________O But I swear, thats my dream date right there!!XD A guy picking me up on a motor cycle and I hold on to him, etc.. O////////O Anyway, Like some past comments, I felt bad for Minko, but I dont think Tohru and Minko would make a good couple.. Its still really early in the show.. Minko might find better guy.. If that is the case, I hope Yuina will snatch him away :P Minchi needs a true goal/dream that will somehow help her advance in life (look at Nako, who wanted to overcome her shyness). Running after your crush...doesn't seem to be a very good choice. It usually doesn't get you anywhere, at least you're never gonna change for your own sake, but your efforts will always be for someone else. Don't like MinchixTooru. This relationship is totally unbalanced. I want to see some Minchi and Ohana bonding. Not Minchi and Ohana strangling. Minchi's irrationality is getting to me. I fully agree I am .. getting rather sick of him , and her fawning over him too- and I would like to see her do something with Ohana besides overreact and insult. |

So what do you expect? at least that fanservice scene is appropriate and not so lame like the scenes we saw in ep3. That was a beautiful "fanservice scene" instead. Even some good drama/slice of life ani like honey and clover, minami ke contain fanservice like that. |

| I found this episode quite intriguing, however it didn't have the same charm as the first two episodes but I will excuse this because it is merely a build up to next week, I'm positive of it. After four episodes it's hard to tell where the romance will go, frankly I could see it as almost anything: TooruxMinko, TooruxYuina, MinkoxMinor-character-who-confessed, KoxOhana or even TooruxOhana... which I've been getting weird vibes about, I mean it is kind of typical for a romance to bloom between two people who don't get along. Oh, and would someone PLEASE comment on the head waitress and her rant? Wasn't that awesome? She's infuriated that she's all alone in this world XD. She reminds me of Yukari from Azumanga. I still hate the author... and the uncle has grown on me. The head cook, I have a feeling they will cover his story eventually, he seems so nice. Tooru has a complex storyline? FINALLY!?! Yippe! Let the drama commence! The sadist within me is looking forward to all the shenanigans that shall ensue. And just a quick comment, Japan is in no way California, 16 year olds can legally have a relationship/get married to anyone 16+. 7 years is not a big deal, that's the age gap for my parents, and my best friends' uncle and aunt met when they were 28 and 15 respectively and married at 30 and 17, 10 years later they are still happily married. Sorry just my bone to pick with the culturally unaware. Anxiously waiting for the next episode, this is gonna be so fun! I can feel the series finally entering into it's stride. Also I think that lantern festival is going to be covered later. |
