| This was a good episode. Ishimatsu has a crush on Ryuji's sister lol. What a comedian to, he's freaken hilarious. We also get introduced to alot of new characters and it seems some of them are scheming something. That boomerage punch at the end was totally unexpected, a dragon living inside his arm? Well now i know this is not meant to be a realistic anime series, so ill expect more shonen like battles to come im sure. |

| The manga has started the trend of the "super-techniques" (wearing english names). Ishimatsu is the funny guy needed to lighten up the series. It's amusing to hear Kusao Takeshi (Parn from Lodoss, Trunks) in such a role. The Führer and his german team's appearance seem to have been tone down 4/5 I wonder if the anime isn't exaggerating exaggerations of the manga. @FMmatron You won't get to see the characters outside of the ring, for most of the various animated series. It's all fluff for the producers who only wanted to commemorate the manga to be nice with Kurumada (who seemed to hold St Seiya's further animations as hostage, in order to see animated the title who made his career and his money and the one that was actually the popular one in Japan). That's why the five or so first tomes were skipped, and more later: they start years before those episodes, and you get to meet those big competitors who will form the japanese team later and become the heres of the series. And that's where you get their personal infos, their atittude, etc. |

| Nice portrayal of Germany xDD Like expected,this got much better,I really need to see the characters in their natural environment to get attached to them. Ishimatsu is indeed a cool guy and I like his archetype. And lol, Boomerang Hook,that escalated quickly. @Rei366 The manga is already a must for me,will read it alongside. |
