Soo... I'm typing this while reading because it's easier that way... :P

Hahahahahah! They have the most ridiculous customs! They're engaged because Yuuri slapped Wolfram!!

Ooooh I was wondering how baseball was exactly the same on both worlds and now Yuuri's teaching Conrad how to actually play. :) They're so adorable.

Oh yay! Blurred edges!! Is Yuuri about to completely pwn Wolf?

I guess because Wolfram was already a fiery person, not to mention being the youngest, he wouldn't have the control that others might when getting a whiff of that concoction. I mean, look at Gunter, we know he loves Heika but he kept himself in check.

Hmm but I just feel like the perfume thing is kind of useless? Like, even without it, the same thing would have happened, so it's like a useless plot thing thrown in there. Wolfram was already passionate in his dislike for Yuuri. And that no one else reacted at all (namely Gunter) is weird.

Also, can you say non-consent? Why was Celi using that on people... Can't get anyone without it? :| If she put it there on purpose for Yuuri to use, again, non-consent. Yeah, maybe she did it hoping Yuuri could change Wolfram (even though she hadn't even met Yuuri yet), that is still no excuse for the breach in privacy or trust. She did say she did it because Wolfram is the cutest when he's angry though, not that she wanted to help him. I don't think Yuuri finds anger and rudeness charming though...

I love how Conrad put Yuuri at ease by talking to him about baseball and playing with him. <3

Yuuri's story about the baseball camp was adorable.

So Conrad stayed on Earth for at least five years, until Yuuri was born? And what injuries did his soul sustain?

Conrad made Yuuri completely forget about the proposal and dual, nice. xD

Did Conrad keep that distance Yuuri points out because he didn't want to presume, because he didn't feel like it was his place, or because he didn't want to treat Yuuri too familiar as if

I wonder what made Conrad change his mind about keeping quiet about knowing about Yuuri? Was it because of the mess Yuuri got into with Wolfram, and he could see that he needed a distraction, so he decided to open up about it?

It did seem like there was a moment where he could have just said that there were no teams in Shin Makoku, but instead he chose to reveal his knowledge of Boston Red Sox. Maybe because Yuuri spoke so openly and vulnerably about his baseball camp story, he decided to respond in kind. Of course Yuuri wouldn't know the details behind

Conrad giving Yuuri his necklace is just precious. Did he give it for Yuuri's comfort, for his own comfort, or because it was a good excuse to give it to Yuuri because he'd already planned on it? As if he were holding it until the time the soul would be reincarnated... (And maybe he was hoping too that the bit of maseki in it would activate for Yuuri.)

Who did Wolfram defeat to get his flame? :O I wish magic was more explored in KKM (covenant? like a contract? what does the magic want in return?). Maybe it is somewhere in the light novels?

Did Conrad not expect Wolfram to use magic? It makes me think that even though Conrad is so sure that Yuuri's soul is the right one, he is afraid for Yuuri. He must know that Yuuri won't improve if he's coddled, but he can't stop himself from worrying that Yuuri will lose, since he's at such a disadvantage.

It is entirely understandable, considering this is Yuuri's first day in this world and never having been exposed to magic or duels and whatnot. Maybe that's why he gave him the necklace in the end, in hopes it would bring out something in him.

omg I meta'ed all over this discussion post. oops.
