Himmel flashbacks are always beautiful. We are getting into a more serious story rn so it makes sense since the prior arc was a lot of Himmel

the end of Frieren is definitely going to be her seeing Himmel again. Frieren completely understanding her old friends as well as her new ones is the whole point of the story. Anything else is secondary

I still think that there is a lot of story left before we get to a definitive ending. Stuff like Eisen’s backstory along with how he joined the Hero’s Party, the sub plot of Gorilla Warrior (although that may wrap up soon), and how Fern and Stark end up - I am scared that the author will just make them get together at the end as an afterthought though. Besides, they’re only like 5-6 years into a potentially 10 year journey, so there’s that too.
