| Having not read the synopsis beforehand the relationship between the leads caught me positively by surprise. Also just realized Nobuhiro Yamashita (of Linda Linda Linda and A gentle breeze in the village fame) having an important role minutes before the screening began. Talk about sudden anticipation. The art, the humor, even the unusual choice of voice actors, all of which share having this as their first (anime) role are also elements that further contributed in making this a noteworthy film. |
