Help, I just realized they really glossed over the whole fact that Eunyung stabbed Haejoon in the stomach badly enough that he was in the hospital for a few days (that is why he missed the dorm application deadline). Like they showed that it happened but like as if it barely mattered lol. Sadly I guess that's just what happens if you only have 5 minute episodes. I think it would've been better if these 1st 3 episodes were just one 20 minute episode, but it seems like they almost never do that for Korean webcomic adaptations. It also just feels silly to have 2/5 minutes of each episode taken up by full opening & ending credit songs. Haejoon also just sounds like a grown man to me lol, but it's fine. I think I might also just not be used to like different norms for Korean animation or something idk. Sadly it seems like, despite a lot of animation studios elsewhere outsourcing a lot of their labor to Korean animators, somehow not a lot of actual Korean animation gets made, or if it does, it doesn't seem to reach the international sphere most of the time, so u just don't see a lot of it.

Yeah I felt like that was pretty good intro to understanding Eunyang's character because he is acting through that entire scene when they meet again at the house for the first time, but with the run time what it is, I let it go. That this got animated at all feels like a blessing and I'm more than happy to relive the show. Reading this was wild to me cuz I literally randomly picked it up, read almost the entire thing in the span of three days, and then on the last day the last chapter came out, and then shortly after found out about the animation. I just feel like I hit the jackpot honestly haha But I am definitely wanting more at the end of these three episodes~! I wish they could have released a longer run time as well. 20 minutes would have been perfect!

@FiflyAnimeLover I pretty much feel the same, but it is a little sad that a lot of layers of what's really going on probably aren't gonna come across to new viewers. But yeah, there's not much they can rly do if they're confined to 3 minutes per episode to tell a story 😭 either way I'll definitely be watching since this story is close to my heart

They also removed all explanation about Haejoon's home life. Honestly, all things considered, there's a lot of problems with the adaptation. Runtime is part of it, but it feels like they're speeding through the first two arcs when they could've just done the first arc at a decent pace.
