| Man, the anime really soured me on Mayura and this really drove the nail in. The principal basically told her she wouldn't have to worry about doing cosplay and being a teacher and she still decided to quit for no good reason. I guess we're going to get the unreasonable unapproving parent arc now to try to vindicate her |

| Well, I normally celebrate Nitengo jigen no ririsa every week, but I have to admit that it left a bitter aftertaste in my mouth. Mayuri doesn't care about her job and devotes herself completely to cosplay. On the one hand, it's nice for her that she can do what she wants - it fits in a bit with the whole message of the title - but on the other hand, it's also a bit of a strange message that's being sent - giving up your job for cosplay. That might work if you're an absolute super model, but the average Joe probably can't afford it. I also found it a bit of a shame, because I actually got the impression that Mayuri, through her work as a club supervisor, enjoyed working with students. I would have preferred a kind of interim solution - e.g. Mayuri devotes herself completely to cosplay, but teaches fewer hours at school - or something like that. If I were her, I wouldn't have given up the job completely. But of course it's her life and she should be happy with it. Then at the end there's a huge cliffhanger that leaves us excited for next week. |

@Red_Ranger_Wien This whole chapters theme was dreams, and yet Mayura, after having a girlfriend and even stronger bond with the other 4 queens now, is a problem for you? Shes making an equally adult choice, and shes in a better place than the start of the series. Why not pursuit if she can do it full time.
What does Lilysa's mom have to do with anything, we've known from the start shes no good, same with Okumura's family. Mayura's arc is over, theres nothing to vindicate

| And yet here we have Mayura abandoning one of her dreams despite being assured by her boss that she could easily pursue both. Ririsa's mom is going to vindicate Mayura because up to this point she's been the only looming mention of cosplayer discrimination that Mayura's been paranoid about. |
| Mayura sama stand proud, love her and hope she'll stand at the pinnacle of cosplay again. As for Lilysa hope things work out. |
