| I like to post in manga forum when I feel it is worth it, so people will think. "Shit, is her again" or something. People asked me where I read certain thing but the rules say no telling where did you read so maybe I am too boring for not saying? Or salty because you didn't check my profile that says don't ask because I hate people to ghost me after that. I love learning languages so maybe I did not read the manga in English. |

| @Infatuate I wouldn’t say anyone’s been dehumanized, especially Mia. The act of killing and murder doesn’t immediately make someone inhuman. Looking at Mia, and observing her behavior from before it’s revealed that she killed her parents. It’s not likely that she killed them without reason. The way she has Sara enact punishment on her, might be a reflection of how her parents punished. I think Mia may have retaliated to protect herself but that’s a theory for now. Still I wouldn’t say she’s been dehumanized, we just understand more of Mia’s desperation to ensuring that Shadows House exist. She can’t go back. In the case of Anthony, even before we see kill his father, we watch him slice Maggie’s throat and try to frame it as if Margaret did it. Even though she already swore loyalty and would follow along with other plans. We knew he was capable of killing someone without much need for a reason (or at least a good one). His obsession, the only one he truly came to empathize with was Christopher, his shadow. Out of everyone, Christopher’s death hits him hard so much that he wishes to bring him back to replace the Great Grandfather. These are what makes humans too. I think dehumanized is the wrong term in this case. |
