| I just noticed that in the OP although Bon's uniform updated, the opening shot with his old goggles/visor still remains. I guess it's just too cool to ditch or replace. Also, Gayler and the other time patrol agents still seem to rock the old uniforms. I guess they're behind, eh? The plot of this episode was interesting. The story of a rogue time patrol agent is something that should happen more often in that universe I think. It's so easy to abuse that power. Tho I was a bit disappointed nothing too serious happened. I miss the Season 1 episodes where Bon and Ream literally had to risk their lives. Heck, Bon even died a few times. That shit was crazy. So far, none of that stuff happened in Season 2 which is kinda boring. So, I'd say that I prefer Season 1 so far. Anyway, it's cool that there's a TP agent from the early 20th century. I didn't think anyone from before at least the late 20th century (since this story was written in the 70s-80s) would be hired as people from before that time might lack the technological knowledge of our time to use many of the necessary gadgets effectively. Still, it was pretty weird for an agent with 5 years worth of experience to do something so reckless without doing any research about what happens to endangered species in the future. I guess for him the 1910s WAS the future. |
