| Man, history is tough. I get they lost a battle/war but beheading their women and children after killing their men? That's brutal. I made the connection immediately when they said the losing Heike men settled in a hidden mountain and that Yumiko's dad also came from a similar hidden village. The fact that Kamomaru and Yumiko looked alike was just further confirmation. Yumiko betting her head to save this random person who may or may not be her ancestor was crazy reckless. She almost lost her head. That shit was intense ngl. But it did pay off in the end. Overall, it was a pretty nice episode. Reminds me of the Season 1 episode with the WW2 soldier because of the setup. So, did they actually cut her head off in the manga, and Bon had to turn back time to save her? I don't understand why they had to cut that. This sort of stuff was already shown in the first season. |

| @RecallMyName Thanks for the panels. That would have been much better. Bon died a couple of times last season. How did he save her or was he not able to do it? |
