Recap #1: REAPPEARANCE OF EIGHT MERDIANS
#1 At Imperial Palace of Zhou Empire, Mother Qin tries to save son with her blood.
#2 Father Zhou Qing and Mother Qin Yu are told their son Zhou Yuan will be fine for nx 3yrs but his 8 Meridians still cannot be detected.
#3 The poison within Zhou Yuan attacks him once every 3yrs, and his body condition has worsen after each attack.
#4 Father Zhou tells his son how his Dragon Destiny was snatched away by King Wu.
#5 Zhou Yuan is good friend of Su YouWei. She feels indebted to the prince for saving her grandpa.
#6 Zhou Yuan fights off Bully Xu Lin with his three patterns.
#7 Lin Feng badly injures Xu Lin for losing to the prince while Prince Qi Yue looks on at the side.
#8 Father Zhou takes son to ancestral grounds. Zhou Yuan opens up formation and disappears into thin air...

#1 Bull Patterns can increase strength
#2 Light Body Patterns can increase speed.
#3 Iron Skin Patterns can improve defence.

Overall, a good donghua. Quality animation. Decent story. Interesting characters. Hope Season 2 will have even better visuals with more colors.

@Xealias Aside from all mc meeting in higher dimension, nothing in common.
There's a reddit post that talks in detail on the topic. See for details.

Is there any official way to complain to studios why they don't follow the original novel ?
By derailing from source material, they only produce trashier version. For example, Renegade Immortal. The book is good, the studio butchered the story in the donghua.

Damn...they actually made this to 3D donghua. I really like the manhua but I stopped reading to stack the chapters. The first thing to get use to is the 3D animation because the manhua was very vibrant and colorful.
